A dreadful aura spread from the stone statue and pervaded the entire dungeon.

Lin Moyu’s breathing faltered.

The powerful pressure made him feel greatly alarmed.

Thanks to Detection, the boss’s attributes were displayed in front of him.

[Outpost Guardian (hell rank boss)]

[Level: 33]

[Strength: 15,000]

[Agility: 13,000]

[Spirit: 10,000]

[Physique: 15,000]

[Skills: AOE Knockback, AOE Stun, Enhance Resistance]

All four attributes exceed 10,000 points.

Nevertheless, it looks like its attributes are not as high as the Skeletal Warrior’s.

However, it is a boss and possesses formidable health.

Coupled with its 15,000 points of physique, it has astonishing defense, making it very difficult to kill it.

AOE Knockback and AOE Stun, both skills are control skills, making Lin Moyu feel an even greater headache.

In the hell rank dungeon, the Skeletal Warriors have suffered enough from control skills.

Lin Moyu quickly retreated, distancing himself from the guardian by at least 500 meters. Red light shone in his palm.

The stone statue shattered completely, and the guardian faced upwards and roared, announcing its arrival.

At this time, a huge red net fell from the sky.

Along with a loud buzzing sound, a red chain pattern appeared on the guardian’s head.

Its roar instantly dragged out, as if a recording played at slowed speed.

With its speed decreased by 33 times, its movements became slow.

At the same time as the chain pattern appeared, the Skeletal Warriors had already rushed forward.

Along with flashes of light, they unleashed their skill.

Skill: Berserk Strike.

The Skeletal Mages also unleashed their skill, and a variety of attacks rained down on the guardian.

After its speed decreased by 33 times, the guardian couldn’t react momentarily.

By the time it finished roaring, it was already crawling with Skeletal Warriors, and its legs were surrounded by skeletons.

The Skeletal Warrior’s skill fully erupted, and over 100 large blades slashed the guardian.

Contrary to expectations, there was no blood spilling.

The guardian has extremely high defense. When the Skeletal Warrior’s large blades landed on its scales, they made metallic impact sounds.

The clanging rose without stop.

Lin Moyu is aware that it should take some damage, but not much.

After all, the Skeletal Warriors are only level 22.

The boss, on the other hand, is level 33, a full 11 levels higher than the Skeletal Warriors.

And it’s also a hell rank boss, making it much more powerful than nightmare rank bosses of the same level.

At level 22, Lin Moyu entered a level 26 dungeon by himself, at hell rank difficulty, and with Dragonkind monsters.

He directly challenged the highest difficulty.

The roar ended, and the guardian looked down at the Skeletal Warriors at its feet.

Under the curse’s effect, its movements became extremely slow, as if it were in slow motion.

Just the time it took it to lower its head, the Skeletal Warriors have already slashed it several times.

With more than 100 Skeletal Warriors, that’s equivalent to hundreds of slashes.

As for the Skeletal Mages, they have launched two volleys of attacks.

Even though the damage dealt by each strike isn’t high, but when it’s added together, it is not insignificant.

A shade of anger overtook the Outpost Guardian’s face.

There is a glint of intelligence in its eyes.

Compared to other Dragonkind monsters, its intelligence is significantly higher.

A brilliant light suddenly erupted from its body.

Skill: Enhance Resistance!

The red chain pattern on its head was promptly weakened by a fraction.

Although it was still there, but its color was no longer as bright.

The effect of the curse has been reduced.

The movement speed of the Outpost Guardian suddenly accelerated.

”Not good!” Lin Moyu secretly let out a cry.

He reapplied Slowing Curse. But it was of no use.

The Outpost Guardian was shrouded in light, which greatly weakened the effect of the curse.

At this time, the Outpost Guardian pulled out a large blade -- six meters long and one meter wide -- from its back, and the large blade swept out like the wind.

Skill: AOE Knockback!

The Outpost Guardian activated its skill. Whether they were at its fee or on its body, the Skeletal Warriors were knocked away.

The skill’s range wasn’t small. The Skeletal Warriors were pushed to at least 20 meters away.

Immediately after, the Outpost Guardian leaped high into the air and swung its blade, which shone with brilliant light. The blade crashed with a loud bag into the ground.

Skill: AOE Stun.

This time, the range was even larger. Strong shockwaves covered an area 50 meters in radius.

The surrounding Skeletal Warriors were stunned in an instant.

The Skeletal Warriors once again lost their combat power, standing there as if nailed to the ground.

After restraining the Skeletal Warriors, the Outpost Guardian started a fierce attack against the enemy.

The large blade in its hand fell repeatedly on a Skeletal Warrior.

The Skeletal Warrior’s body made cracking sounds, clearly injured.

Fortunately, the Skeletal Warrior’s attributes were very high, and so it could withstand the attacks for a short period of time.

Although the Outpost Guardian has strong control skills, but it does not have strong attack skills.

Despite being the boss, the Outpost Guardian’s attack power is not as high as that of the Dragonkind Assassins.

Lin Moyu retreated a little further, maintaining a distance of 500 meters from the guardian.

The Skeletal Warriors couldn’t move and couldn’t be retrieved into the summon space.

He ordered the Skeletal Mages to attack with all their might.

The various skills of the Skeletal Mages rained down on the Outpost Guardian, exploding with brilliant radiances.

At this time, the Outpost Guardian’s attention shifted from the Skeletal Warriors to the Skeletal Mages.

The Outpost Guardian leaped toward the Skeletal Mages, and the large blade in its hands shone brightly.

Skill: AOE Stun.

”Come back!”

Lin Moyu reacted extremely fast, instantly bringing the Skeletal Mages into the summon space.

The Outpost Guardian’s large blade landed on the ground and released strong shockwaves, but the Skeletal Mages were missing.

It was puzzled, confused by how the targets had suddenly disappeared.

The Outpost Guardian quickly turned around and focused its attention on the Skeletal Warriors again.

The skeleton that was attacked continued to incur damage. Cracks covered its bones, looking like it’s about to fall apart at any time.

After 30 seconds, the stun effect disappeared.

The Skeletal Warriors rushed over and besieged the guardian again.

When the stun effect disappeared, Lin Moyu retrieved the Skeletal Warriors that were attacked by the guardian.

At the same time, he also released the Skeletal Mages and had them stay at the limit of their skills’ range as they attacked.

At the moment when the Skeletal Mages appeared, the Outpost Guardian suddenly leaped up into the air, and the large blade in its hands flickered. The Outpost Guardian slashed at the Skeletal Mages.

It unleashed its skill again.

Lin Moyu reacted extremely quickly and promptly retrieved the Skeletal Mages back into the summon space.

The shockwaves swept out again. However, Lin Moyu’s reaction was too fast. The Skeletal Mages didn’t take any damage.

The Outpost Guardian felt it a bit strange. The Skeletal Mages, which were there just moments ago, disappeared abruptly.

All of a sudden, it felt pain. The Skeletal Warriors had already caught up and slashed at it with their blades.

The Outpost Guardian once again shone with light.

The Skeletal Warriors that ran over were knocked back.

Subsequently, the Outpost Guardian unleashed the skill AOE Stun.

The Skeletal Warriors fell into the stun state again, unable to fight back.

”It’s still not over!” Lin Moyu felt a bit gloomy.

The boss’s attack power isn’t all that. Its control skills, however, are quite annoying.

It looks like its skill has no cooldown period.

In fact, its skill has a cooldown period, but it’s very short.

Lin Moyu estimates it to be only 10 seconds.

Yet the stun effect lasts 30 seconds.

The Outpost Guardian can keep the enemy perpetually in the stun state.

This is no different from cheating.

It was because of this that Bai Yiyuan felt Lin Moyu shouldn’t be able to clear the hell rank dungeon.

Lin Moyu turned his eyes and released the Skeletal Mages again.

The Skeletal Mages quickly dispersed and ran in different directions.

They formed a circle, with a diameter of nearly 400 meters, around the Outpost Guardian. The Outpost Guardian is located in the center of the circle.

In this way, the Outpost Guardian won’t be able to restrain all the Skeletal Mages at one go.

A large number of magic skills fell on the Outpost Guardian once more.

The Skeletal Mages were standing far apart. As such, the Outpost Guardian can only restrain two or three Skeletal Mages at one time.

Lin Moyu breathed a sigh of relief.

He finally found a way to deal with it.

But in the next moment, Lin Moyu felt his hair stand on end.

The Outpost Guardian unexpectedly raised its head and looked at him.

The best way to deal with summons is to kill the Summoner himself.

With its weak intelligence, it realized this point.

With a loud bang, the earth cracked, and the Outpost Guardian jumped high into the air and shot toward Lin Moyu.

”Damn it!”

The Outpost Guardian actually set its sights on him. With his speed, Lin Moyu won’t be able to keep away from it.

Lin Moyu made up his mind and reapplied the Bone Armor. At the same time, fire flickered in his hand.

Skill: Soul Blaze!

The Outpost Guardian let out a scream in midair. However, this didn’t affect its movement.

Its blade shone brightly.

Skill: AOE Stun.

The large blade landed only 10 meters away from Lin Moyu.

As the shockwaves swept out, the Bone Armor covering Lin Moyu flickered continuously with silver-white light.

”Oh? I wasn’t stunned!”

Lin Moyu was stupefied. The Outpost Guardian’s skill didn’t affect him.

In the next moment, he realized that Bone Armor had blocked the shockwaves.

”It turns out that Bone Armor has such a function.”

”Not only can it withstand attacks, but it can also withstand control-type skills.”

Lin Moyu was overjoyed. A new gameplay suddenly appeared before his mind’s eye.
