84 - Some Idiot With A Lot Of Money; Godly Skill

A delicate silver white sword appeared in his hand, instantly increasing his spirit force to 1,700.

Lin Moyu can feel an energy transmit into his body from the Spirit Sword.

If he casts Soul Blaze while holding the sword, the power of Soul Blaze will be increased significantly.

It only took two minutes to spend 10,000 points.

He still has 125,000 points left. This may seem like a lot, but it’s actually not much.

Gold rank equipment can easily go for tens of thousands of points. His entire wealth is only enough to buy one piece of gold rank equipment.

1,700 points of spirit force still isn’t enough. Lin Moyu went to look for protective equipment.

”Eh? This is...”

Lin Moyu saw a Mage-type protective equipment called Spirit Robe in the protective equipment section.

[Spirit Robe: silver rank, spirit +200, usable after level 20]

[Maker: Zhang Tie]

[Introduction: a part of a three-piece spirit set]

It was made by the same person.

At the same time, it also only gives a boost in spirit force.

This is not surprising.

What Lin Moyu focused on was the introduction: a part of a three-piece spirit set.

”This is... a set.”

Lin Moyu was taken aback.

In high school, while studying basic knowledge about equipment, he saw descriptions about sets.

Sets are extremely rare. If you can gather one, you will be able to obtain an additional bonus.

The Spirit Robe costs 2,000 points, making it slightly cheaper than its sword counterpart. But it is more expensive than other silver rank protective equipment of the same level.

Lin Moyu bought it without thinking.

As for the points, he isn’t really concerned about them for the time being.

With a thought from him, the Spirit Robe appeared on him, replacing the Robe of Knowledge.

His spirit force was pushed to 1,900.

He still is missing one piece of the set.

He started searching again.

In the trade office, there is a search function. Following Lin Moyu’s specifications, the corresponding equipment was quickly found.

[Spirit Ring: silver rank, spirit +200, usable after level 20]

[Maker: Zhang Tie]

[Introduction: a part of a three-piece spirit set]

Its price has been set at 5,000 points, which is very expensive.

It’s much more expensive than other silver rank accessories.

Lin Moyu isn’t concerned with the price. He just wants to gather the entire set.

He couldn’t help but to buy it. At the same time, he wore it on his finger

With the entire set gathered, Lin Moyu emitted faint silver light, catching the attention of others in the trade office.

”This is... set light. Someone gathered a set.”

”Silver-white light, it’s a silver rank set.”

”What silver rank set is there here? I haven’t heard of it before.”

”Do you remember that handcrafted set?”

”Are you talking about the set that only provides spirit buffs? The one that has been in the trade office for over two years?”

”I’ll be damned. Did someone really buy this set?”

”Is it some idiot with a lot of money?”

Everyone looked at Lin Moyu as if he were a moron.

Only a moron would spend 10,000 points to buy a silver rank set without any skill buffs.

What’s the use of piling up so much spirit force?

It’s better to add skill buffs and increase offensive power.

After all, the power of other Mage-type skills is basically unrelated to spirit force.

They can’t understand him, and Lin Moyu doesn’t need them to understand him.

After wearing the Spirit Ring, his spirit force was pushed to 2,100, surpassing the other attributes by far.

Next, Lin Moyu finally witnessed the set bonus.

The three-piece spirit set provides an additional spirit force bonus of 800 points.

The Spirit Sword, Spirit Robe, and Spirit Ring, the three items provide a basic spirit force boost of 800 points.

In total, Lin Moyu’s force was boosted by 1,600 points.

His spirit attribute has reached 2,900.

”It was worth it.”

Lin Moyu believes that the 10,000 points were well spent.

Under the strange gazes, Lin Moyu left the trading center.

He hasn’t said a word from beginning to end.

However, as he was leaving, a hint of satisfaction appeared on Lin Moyu’s face.

”What a strange guy. He spent so many points to purchase a silver rank set that boosts spirit, yet he’s this happy.”

”Maybe he thinks it looks good. You have to admit -- his robe and sword do look pretty nice.”

”So what if they look good? Is that enough to defeat a boss? What we need is power.”

”That guy doesn’t care about how much he spends. If only I was given the 10,000 points, I would be able to buy a gold rank weapon.”

Lin Moyu left the trade office and made a beeline for the skill training center.

The academy has a specialized skill training center, where Formation Masters have set up formations.

In the skill training center, not only can the training of skills be accelerated, but reportedly the probability of awakening skills can also be increased.

Although the last part isn’t certain, but there are still many people who choose to use skill scrolls in the skill training center.

Lin Moyu didn’t take any chances in this regard.

The skill training center is also divided into elementary, intermediate, and advanced grades.

Not unlike dungeons, in addition to points, there are also level requirements.

Since he is level 20, Lin Moyu can only enter the elementary rank skill training center.

By paying 100 points, you can train for one hour in the elementary rank skill training center.

This shows why, even when the skill training center isn’t fully booked, there are students training their skills outside.

100 points for one hour of training, this price is indeed quite steep.

And this is only the price for elementary rank training center. The price for intermediate rank and advanced rank training center is 1,000 points and 10,000 points per hour respectively.

Ning Yiyi once mentioned that there appears to be a top rank training center, but it isn’t open to the public.

Lin Moyu paid the points and entered the training center.

The training center is an independent space.

It has a length and width of around 30 meters, neither large nor small, but enough to train skills.

There are some training equipment placed inside.

Standing in the training center, Lin Moyu felt a different air.

He summoned a Skeletal Warrior, consuming 500 points of spirit force.

After the time he spent in the trading office, his spirit force was restored only by a small fraction.

The speed at which spirit force is restored very slow.

At this time in the training center, although he hasn’t entered the meditative state, but the speed at which his spirit force is being restored is comparable to that when he is in a meditative state.

By entering the meditative state in the skill training center, the speed can be increased several-fold.

Thanks to this, there is no need to worry about insufficient spirit force when training skills.

The training speed can naturally be greatly increased.

”If I summon Skeletal Warriors in here and use meditation to restore my spirit force, wouldn’t it be possible to quickly fill up the summon space?”

Lin Moyu calculated in his heart.

However, now is not the time to summon Skeletal Warriors.

Lin Moyu took out an elementary skill scroll and then activated it.

The scroll transformed into a mass of light enveloping Lin Moyu, turning him into a ball of light shining brightly in the training center.

After a moment, the mass of light dissipated.

Nothing happened.

He didn’t acquire a new skill.

The elementary skill scroll failed.

As expected, it’s not that easy to awaken a skill.

Ning Yiyi once said that there was an unlucky guy who, at level 30, wanted to awaken all his elementary rank skills before the second awakening and ended up using 300 elementary skill scrolls.

Lin Moyu believes that his luck shouldn’t be this pathetic.

He activated another skill.

A mass of light rose again.

Lin Moyu can see that the mass of light is composed of thousands of specks of light, like stars, very beautiful.

At this moment, Lin Moyu recalled how he used to look up at the stars on the roof with his sister and make wishes upon shooting stars.

His grandma would bring them Dim sum [1] and fruits to eat.

That is a time that Lin Moyu cherishes very much in his heart.

Suddenly, Lin Moyu saw one of the stars brighten up.

Then a stream of light flowed into his body.

[Obtained skill: Bone Armor]

[Bone Armor (level 1): summons an armor of bones that provides 100 points of physical defense for 5 minutes; the skill can also be used on others]

Necromancer is a Mage-type class, and it also has a protective shield skill.

For the Necromancer class, that protective shield skill is Bone Armor.

100 points of physical defense doesn’t seem much.

However, under the effect of Comprehensive Amplification, this defense is increased 30-fold.

This is equivalent to 3,000 points of physical defense...

This makes him no different from a humanoid boss monster.

When faced with level 20 class users, Lin Moyu can boldly proclaim: even if I don’t lift a finger, you won’t be able to beat me.

The most crucial thing is that this skill can also be used on others.

This is different from Mages, who can only use their protective shield skill on themselves.

Therefore, with him in a party, safety will be greatly enhanced.

This skill can compensate for his weak defense.

Lin Moyu raised his palm, and then pressed it down.

As he pressed down his palm, a soft sound rang in the training center.

A cold wind emerged out of nowhere and surrounded him.

A white armor composed of bones quickly covered his body.

It looks a bit eerie, but is also a bit cool.

After wearing the Bone Armor, Lin Moyu moved his body.

The armor doesn’t hinder his movements in the least.

Furthermore, the armor is light as a feather. He couldn’t even feel it.

After trying it out for a while, the corners of Lin Moyu’s mouth rose into a smile.

Another practical and powerful godly skill.

He activated the next skill scroll.
