Sasuke’s Genjutsu was simple. It trapped Kabuto in a vortex of darkness for a split second before Kabuto broke out.

But by this time, Sasuke had already retreated.

This time, Sasuke was quite serious. He thought Kabuto was an easy target, but he never expected Kabuto to cut through Kyubi’s Chakra.

”Your Sharingan is quite powerful, Sasuke.”

Kabuto smirked as he dashed towards Sasuke and tried to attack him in the chest, but Sharingan’s precognition saw through his movements.

Sasuke managed to dodge the attack as he grabbed Kabuto’s wrist and tried to use his foot to break his arm.

Kabuto was not a weak shinobi, especially when it came to Chakra Control. Although not as powerful as Tsunade, his Taijutsu was still strong.

He easily broke free from Sasuke, using his wrist to fling Sasuke away as he quickly weaved hand signs.

[Hidden Shadow Snakes Hand]

Suddenly, several snakes appeared on his hand as they tried to grab Sasuke by the throat and the waist, but Sasuke jumped up in the air.

[Fire Release- Great Fireball Jutsu]

In just two seconds, he completed the six seals and released a massive ball of fire towards those snakes.

Before they could even reach Sasuke, they were burnt to a crisp.

While he landed on the ground, Sasuke quickly weaved through several hand signs and released several small-scale fireballs.

[Fire Release- Phoenix Sage Fire]

Kabuto also weaved hand signs and released a pressurized water jet from his mouth, disrupting all of the fireballs in a single attack.

He narrowed his eyes and thought.

’Sasuke shouldn’t be at my level. He is not using Curse Mode. But he can match me in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu with Kyubi’s Chakra.’

’That means Naruto should already be aware of this battle. I can’t stay here for long. I have to leave.’

As he thought about it, he immediately wove hand signs.

Of course, Sasuke wasn’t going to let him complete those hand signs, so he quickly finished three hand signs.

Because of Kyubi’s chakra, the skin on his hand didn’t get pulled out as he quickly rushed towards Kabuto, with lightning chakra coating his hand.

[Chidori]

The very ground was being destroyed by the trail of the lightning chakra, but Sasuke’s speed was so fast that Kabuto was forced to abandon his hand signs.

Instead, he pushed Chakra into his feet and used Body Flicker Jutsu to move away.

”Sorry, you can’t leave.”

Just when he was about to leave, he heard a voice from behind.

This stunned him. He didn’t recognize this voice, but he was sure that none of the Ninjas could arrive this fast.

Especially since Uchiha’s residence was quite far from the center of Konoha.

Just when he turned around, he saw a special shuriken-shaped Mangekyo Sharingan, and he was instantly pulled into the Genjutsu world.

Unlike Kakashi, who had the Sharingan, Kabuto could only rely on himself to break out of Genjutsu.

If Madara could put the Raikage into Genjutsu with his EMS, Fugaku had no problem putting Kabuto into his Genjutsu.

”Mikoto, it’s your turn.”

Fugaku moved to the side as Mikoto stepped forward, and her eyes also changed, revealing a ’Y’ with a dot in between the upper area.

[Kannon]

Mikoto’s Dojutsu was released as she looked at Kabuto and muttered.

”Despite all of your experiences, you will always be Konoha’s best ninja who wants to inherit the will of Nono Yakushi and support the Hokage.”

Her words were like a mental command for Kabuto, but this command didn’t change him completely.

No, it didn’t even affect him immediately.

He only lost consciousness because of Genjutsu from two Mangekyo Sharingan.

As he fell, Mikoto’s eyes returned to normal, but there was a trace of whiteness in her eyes.

”How is your vision?”

Although Impure Reincarnation Jutsu allowed her to use such a powerful Jutsu regularly, there would be some kind of restriction.

That restriction was the number of times she could use it before it would need a long reset.

”Don’t worry, I have only used it twice. Unless I use it five times a year, it won’t enter cooldown state.”

Her ability didn’t change a person’s mind like Kotoamatsukami, but it could change a person’s mind slowly over time.

This was the most dangerous part of her ability.

It wasn’t a Genjutsu but a low-tier Shinjutsu.

On the other hand, Sasuke was sulking because Kabuto was captured by his parents.

More importantly, he also saw the Mangekyo Sharingan in both of their eyes.

Only he didn’t have those eyes, which made him feel left out.

As for a mother, how could Mikoto fail to see his mind, especially after she started giving one hundred percent of her care to Sasuke?

She walked towards him and patted him on the head.

”Are you mad because you didn’t get to win against him?”

”Humph! If he wasn’t a coward, I would’ve defeated him.”

Clearly, Sasuke was bothered by the fact that Kabuto tried to run away.

”Sasuke, remember, you will always have these eyes one day. When you do, you will be stronger than him.”

”But what you need to do is to be stronger than him before awakening these eyes and without using Kyubi’s Chakra.”

Mikoto pulled him into her embrace and said.

”That Chakra is a gift left to Naruto by his parents. You also have your gifts.”

She said while touching his eyes.

Yes! Sasuke’s Sharingan were indeed gifts from his parents. After all, that bloodline was passed down to him.

At this moment, Fugaku walked towards him, holding Kabuto on his shoulder.

”Sasuke, you shouldn’t feel bad about not defeating Kabuto. Can you defeat Kakashi with Kyubi’s Chakra? If you can, then you can also defeat him.”

Sasuke looked at his father with an incredulous face and said.

”You mean he is as strong as Kakashi Sensei?”

”Well, not exactly one-on-one, but close enough!”

At this moment, Sasuke curiously looked at his mother and asked.

”Mom, what kind of Dojutsu did you use?”

”I will tell you when you grow up.”

”Humph!”

”Alright, alright, let’s drop him off at Naruto’s first! By the way, Sasuke, don’t forget to bring more tomatoes home! I will make your favorite dish today.”

”Yes, Mom!”

Sasuke waved his hand and dashed away towards the market while his parents put on Anbu-style masks and dashed towards the Hokage’s office.
