Chapter 616: MSOC: Chapter 616

”Laxus, you’re telling this kid to go easy on me. Are you looking down on me?” Smoker’s face sank at once.

He had always regarded Kai as a competitor. Now, to be reduced to being an opponent for a junior had already damaged his face.

Now, Kai was even telling Luffy to go easy on him. For Smoker, this was simply a disgrace.

”It seems that Smoker, you’re confident of victory, but I advise you not to let your guard down, otherwise you’ll lose miserably.” Kai glanced at him indifferently and said, ”Luffy, I allow you to release!”

”Can I release?” Luffy’s eyes lit up at once and said, ”Teacher, can I still use that move?”

”You can!” Kai nodded.

Since they were going to fight, Kai still hoped to give Smoker a profound lesson.

”Good, very good. It seems that I, Smoker, am being looked down on.” Smoker said ”good” twice in a row, and a trace of sternness flashed through the depths of his pupils and said, ”I also want to know what abilities the teacher, who is so highly praised by Zephyr, has!”

Smoker unfolded his fighting stance, and his gaze suddenly turned and landed on Luffy’s body.

In his eyes, he only needed three moves to defeat an awkward existence like Luffy.

However, just as this thought had sprouted, the scene that entered his eyes made his pupils contract suddenly.

Bang!

The muffled sound of a heavy object landing suddenly echoed.

A black glove was casually thrown on the ground by Luffy.

The clothes on his body, shoes, belt, etc., were all taken off by him and thrown on the ground.

Every time one landed, it could smash the heavy rock ground into cracks, spreading out like spider webs.

When Luffy was only left with a skimpy outfit, the awkward way he had been acting was swept away.

After slightly loosening his limbs, Luffy’s gaze suddenly turned and locked onto Smoker.

”Gear Second!”

The simple two words were spat out, and his feet squirmed like air pumps.

The next moment, his skin instantly turned red as if it had been scalded.

As steam evaporated, Luffy’s lazy eyes suddenly became sharp.

Shave! Bang! As the sonic boom rang out, Smoker, who hadn’t recovered his senses yet, only felt a blur in front of his eyes.

An unexpected figure had taken the lead and appeared in front of him.

”Gum-Gum Bazooka!”

Rumble!

As a punch was thrown out!

It scattered like thunder.

The huge impact force, like the Yellow River bursting its banks, was unstoppable and poured into Smoker’s abdomen head-on.

Pfft!

Smoker spat out a mouthful of blood. Before he had time to react, his whole body was sent flying out directly like a cannonball.

At this moment, his mind was blank.

No! Only one word remained in his mind: Fast! This attack was too fast!

The other party clearly didn’t have Busoshoku Haki on his hands, but the speed was so fast that he didn’t even have a chance to turn his thoughts and use elementalization.

Rumble!

Smoker slammed into a soap bubble tree hundreds of meters away.

Under the release of the huge impact force, the tree trunk, which took seven or eight people to encircle, was directly smashed into a deep pit.

The huge soap bubble tree shook violently.

Witnessing this scene, Ain couldn’t help but open her mouth wide, and the gaze she cast at Kai was full of disbelief.

Too fast! Even the recording Den Den Mushi didn’t know if it could record that scene just now.

However, thinking that Smoker, who had been instantly blown away and defeated, the training quality that had been tested in this first battle made Ain not have time to think more and hurriedly send the recording out.

”Teacher, is this... is this really my speed?” Luffy looked at his fist with a face full of shock.

”This... this is too fast, too amazing. I’ll definitely be able to smash Grandpa flying next time I see him!”

These days, ever since Luffy and the others had boarded the ship, they had been maintaining physical training with added weights.

In Kai’s understanding, there was no weakest Devil Fruit, only the weakest ability user.

What’s more, Kai clearly knew the route of Luffy’s Devil Fruit development, and it wasn’t difficult to force him to grow.

As for the move just now, it was Kai who had used weight training, paired with Gear Second acceleration, and Shave to break through.

He had instantly increased Luffy’s speed by four or five times.

For Smoker, who had held a contemptuous attitude from the beginning, it was undoubtedly a nightmare.

”Senior Smoker, are you alright?” After sending out the recording of the battle, Ain rushed over quickly.

Smoker had lost a bit embarrassingly, but they were also Marines who had followed the ship together.

It would obviously be inappropriate to ignore Smoker right now.

Smoker, who had been smashed into the tree hole, suddenly came to his senses. Feeling the piercing pain in his chest, he hurriedly looked up at Kai.

He knew that he had lost this bet.

Just like what Kai had said at the beginning, it wasn’t looking down on him! On the contrary, he had really gone easy on him!

If he hadn’t controlled the strength of that punch just now, Smoker would definitely not have been able to stay conscious right now.

”Senior Smoker, you still shouldn’t force yourself...” Ain hurriedly advised.

In her eyes, this result was surprising, so fast that he couldn’t even use elementalization, but Smoker had indeed lost.

”Ain, rest assured!” Smoker’s expression changed in succession, and he eventually replied with a relieved tone.

As smoke swirled around his body, he used elementalization and directly transformed into a white smoke and flew towards Kai.

”Ah, are you still going to fight?” Luffy reacted at once and said eagerly, ”That’s great. I just finished warming up...”

Listening to these childish words, the muscles on Smoker’s face were twitching.

He looked up at Kai and said with gritted teeth, ”La, Laxus, Teacher Laxus... I admit defeat!”

The not-loud words echoed on the huge abandoned wharf.

Watching this scene, Zoro and Sanji, apart from revealing surprised expressions, looked down at the weight equipment on their bodies, and a burning flame suddenly ignited in their eyes.

From the beginning, they had indeed resisted this crazy training of swimming and pulling the ship.

However, right now, they had personally seen the naturally foolish Luffy, after removing the restrictions, instantly kill Smoker with one punch.

It made them even more anticipate their growth.

”Hehe, Little Laxus, it seems that you’ve taken in a lot of good disciples. My old man will definitely be very happy if he knows. He’s been training people recently too.” Shakky’s voice suddenly came.

This No. 13 abandoned wharf was originally not far from the Rip-off Bar.

If Shakky didn’t appear after the battle just now had caused such a big commotion, then it would be a strange thing.

”Sister Shakky, you’re praising me too much.” Kai rarely pulled up the corners of his mouth and revealed a somewhat arrogant smile.

It couldn’t be blamed on Kai. Laxus persona was originally cold and powerful.

There were usually very few occasions that could make him smile.

However, Shakky’s appearance this time had also brought Kai a very important piece of information.

Rayleigh was helping people with special training.
