My Talent Skill Mutated

”This must be Brother Yu’s second personality awakening.”

From the side, Dongfang Yao said with delight.

Zhuge Qingtian: ”...?”

’A second personality awakened?’

Hearing Dongfang Yao’s words, Zhuge Qingtian was completely baffled.

’What does that mean?’

’What is this ”second personality awakening” supposed to mean?’

’Don’t tell me Chen Yu has a split personality?’

’A Ninth-level Martial Artist... with a split personality?’

’That sounds completely absurd...’

’But then again, something does seem off about Chen Yu. His entire aura has changed.’

’It’s completely different from before.’

—

”Impossible!”

”Absolutely impossible!”

In the ravine, the succubi stared at the pulverized remains of the Succubus Saintess, their eyes wide with utter disbelief.

This young human had clearly been bewitched. How could he have possibly escaped the Saintess’s enchantment?

’This can’t be real!’

’It must all be an illusion!’

None of them believed what they were seeing. But in the next instant, Chen Yu, still high in the sky, casually raised a hand. A brilliant light erupted from his fist. The glowing fist imprint then plummeted from the heavens like a falling star.

”BOOM!!!”

A deafening explosion rocked the heavens. Before the succubi in the ravine camp could even react, the power of the fist imprint pierced through their bodies one by one. As their figures collapsed, the thick stench of blood filled the camp.

The succubi were killed instantly, leaving only the Black Tower standing alone in the middle of the camp.

”WHOOSH—!”

Chen Yu descended from the sky, landing before the Black Tower.

Chen Yu’s eyes were cold as ice as he stared at the Black Tower.

He raised his hand, balled it into a fist, and threw a simple punch.

”KRA-CRACK—!!!”

Terrifying Power erupted from his fist. In an instant, a majestic force slammed into the Black Tower.

Cracks spiderwebbed across its surface. The entire Black Tower shuddered, looking as if it might collapse at any moment.

Just as the force of the punch pierced the tower, the cracked monolith erupted in a brilliant flash of light.

A graceful, illusory figure materialized within the light. With a single movement, it shot a purple beam directly at Chen Yu.

”Such paltry tricks. You dare display them before a Divine Spirit!”

Chen Yu snorted coldly, and an invisible Force Field enveloped his body.

In an instant, just as the purple beam was about to strike, it stopped dead, a foot away from his body.

Then, Chen Yu raised a hand. A dark light flared from his palm, and the purple beam instantly shattered.

Chen Yu followed up with another ferocious punch.

BOOM!!!

A massive explosion shook the heavens and the earth. The Black Tower was blown to smithereens, its fragments scattering in every direction.

After shattering the Black Tower, a glow faded from Chen Yu’s eyes. The aura around him instantly shifted, and a dazed, confused look appeared on his face.

’This... it worked!’

’Looks like that ”God’s Will” ability is pretty reliable...’

Seeing the ground littered with the corpses of the succubi, Chen Yu finally felt a wave of relief.

He really hadn’t been able to resist the Succubus Saintess’s enchantment. However, just as he was about to be completely submerged, he had activated his ”God’s Will” ability.

Judging by the current situation, the ability had clearly worked.

It had allowed him to awaken from the Succubus Saintess’s spell and turn the tables on his enemies.

’Eighty billion...’

A look of delight spread across Chen Yu’s face as he watched his Source of Life skyrocket.

Gaining over eighty billion Source of Life in one go—this was far more than he’d anticipated.

’This haul was definitely worth it!’

’And these corpses shouldn’t be wasted...’

With that thought, Chen Yu immediately began to extract their Life Force.

The Life Force of over a thousand succubi, including many at the ninth level—the amount of Life Force was staggering.

Even his True God Body would see a significant boost after absorbing it.

—

’They’re all dead...’

In the distance, the two of them snapped back to reality as they stared at the succubi corpses littering the ravine camp.

’Once he was free from the succubi’s control, it was only natural that someone with Chen Yu’s power could steamroll them.’

’But...’

”Yao, Chen Yu’s second personality... it won’t make him attack us, will it?”

Zhuge Qingtian asked, a hint of worry in his voice.

Dongfang Yao stood up. ”It won’t. Don’t worry.”

With that, Dongfang Yao headed straight for Chen Yu.

Seeing her go, Zhuge Qingtian hesitated for a moment before hurrying after her.

...

「The Ravine Camp.」

In one swift motion, Chen Yu stripped the Life Force from all the high-level succubi.

He formed it all into a single, brilliant Life Light Group.

It shone like a miniature sun.

The Life Fluctuations it gave off were astounding.

SWOOSH!!

Just as Chen Yu finished extracting the Life Force, Zhuge Qingtian and Dongfang Yao descended from the sky.

The two exchanged a look as they stared at the radiant Life Light Group.

”Brother Yu? Do you still recognize me?”

Zhuge Qingtian watched Chen Yu warily, ready to bolt at a moment’s notice.

Chen Yu: ”...”

”I’m fine. Relax,” Chen Yu said calmly, seeing Zhuge Qingtian’s guarded expression.

Zhuge Qingtian let out a huge sigh of relief.

’Looks like he really is okay.’

”Use these to recover and improve.” Chen Yu wasn’t one to hog all the spoils. He split off a portion of the large Life Light Group, forming two smaller ones, and gave them to his companions.

He then swallowed the rest of the Life Light Group in one go. His True God Body vibrated as Chen Yu felt it growing steadily stronger.

It was noticeably stronger than before.

’He was eating the meat, but he had to let others drink the soup.’

’He’d gained so much this time; he could afford to part with a small piece of the Life Light Group.’

The two of them looked delighted as they gazed at the Life Light Groups, which pulsed with astonishing Life Fluctuations.

”Thank you, Brother Yu.”

Zhuge Qingtian didn’t stand on ceremony. He swallowed it in one gulp but didn’t begin refining it just yet.

After all, neither of them was a freak of nature like Chen Yu, who could absorb it in an instant.

”This Black Tower must have been something special... It’s a shame it’s in pieces.”

Dongfang Yao sighed, picking up a fragment of the shattered Black Tower.

”The material of these fragments is on par with an Extraordinary Weapon...” Chen Yu remarked, his eyes glinting as he looked at the piece.

He didn’t know what the Black Tower was, but its material was nearly identical to that used for Extraordinary Weapons.

Still, materials comparable to those of Extraordinary Weapons weren’t exactly rare on the Stellar Battlefield.

One could even encounter True God weapons.

”We’re finished here,” Chen Yu said to the pair. ”If you run into a situation you can’t handle, contact me.”

The two of them nodded.

Then, with a flicker of movement, Chen Yu vanished from sight.

As Chen Yu disappeared, the two snapped out of their daze.

Zhuge Qingtian glanced at the rankings on his wristband. Chen Yu was sitting comfortably in first place.

His lead had grown even wider.

Nangong Ba was still in second place, with Jiang Can in third.

The scores of those three were far beyond everyone else’s.

Zhuge Qingtian thought to himself, ’Looks like first place is pretty much set in stone...’

’The competition isn’t over yet, but if things keep going like this... it’ll be almost impossible to shake Chen Yu from the top spot. After all, his current score is roughly equal to Nangong Ba’s and Jiang Can’s combined.’

’The odds of anyone surpassing him are slim to none.’

’Even though my own ranking isn’t high, as a fellow person from the Ancestor Star, it’s an amazing feeling to witness the rise of a new number one.’

”Let’s go. We can’t fall behind either,” Dongfang Yao said, pulling Zhuge Qingtian from his thoughts.

Zhuge Qingtian nodded. Then, the two of them flickered into motion and disappeared.
