My Talent Panel Can Add Points

”Hmm, indeed, someone has to bear the burden and move forward. It’s just that the baton of the era has been passed to our hands... I really envy those little ones of the new generation,” Elias sighed.

”Don’t rush to relax, this is just the first round of testing. There might be changes later, though personally, I don’t think there will be much impact... but it’s better to be cautious,” Archbishop Augustine said.

”Hmm.”

”Understood.”

....

[Prompt: Main Quest Second Loop Completed]

[Task Reward: Free Attribute Points×3]

[Current Trust Level: Worship]

[Current Position Level: Lord of the Fierce Sun (equivalent to Star God special position)]

[Confirm task completion?]

Yes.

The Church’s trust level has risen again, from Reverence to Worship. Reverence still contains a component of respectful rationality, while Worship tends to be mindlessly affectionate.

And the position is even more interesting. As Lord of the Fierce Sun, his position is equivalent to the Star God, theoretically making his current status higher than that of the Archbishop.

The rewards should be quite rich, right?

[Prompt: Main Quest - Second Loop - Gain Trust Completed]

[Task Completion: 1200%]

[Rewards Delivered: Free Attribute Points×5, Skill Advancement Book×1]

Not bad!

There’s even a Skill Advancement Book!

Ye Mingqiu flashed a radiant smile. At Tier One, a Skill Advancement Book could only upgrade skills to Four-star, but now being Tier Two, the Skill Advancement Book can upgrade skills to Five-star.

Currently, his four Basic Passives are still Four-star skills, which can be advanced through the Skill Advancement Book, further strengthening the passives and increasing the Body Basic Potential, elevating his potential cap.

It’s worth noting, the Doomsday Tyrant already has high stats, and if paired with the Body Basic Potential provided by the four Five-star Basic Passives, the final achievable attribute limit might be extraordinarily high.

”Open the Skill Advancement page.”

[Advancement Requirements: Skill Advancement Book×3, Basic Constitution > 300, Soul Fragment×10]

Due to the large gap between Four-star and Five-star being much greater than the gap between Three-star and Four-star, the resources needed for star upgrade have greatly increased.

But this increase is really too much!

The number of Skill Advancement Books directly increased from one to three, and it also requires ten Soul Fragments, which is a colossal expense. The difference in cultivation materials needed for initial Three-star and initial Five-star skills is just that big.

This is why, under normal circumstances, Spiritualists typically choose only one Basic Passive. Choosing too many means there aren’t enough resources to upgrade both Tier and Level.

”Question: Given the different upgrade costs between Four-star and Five-star skills, if I first upgrade the Four-star skill to Level 20, then use the Advancement Book, can I save on the consumption of Soul Fragments?”

Ye Mingqiu asked the Spirit Realm.

[Answer: No, advancement requirements will promptly supplement the gap between the two.]

Damn!

It can only be like this, right?

No shortcuts to save resources!

Ye Mingqiu sighed. Although he currently has enough Soul Fragments, he lacks enough Skill Advancement Books to upgrade the Tier of Basic Passives.

For now, there’s no need to deliberately collect Skill Advancement Books because, even without skill advancement, other skill upgrades consume Soul Fragments too. The core gap in resources isn’t the Skill Advancement Books but Soul Fragments.

Faith Power: 4965

At present, Ye Mingqiu’s total Faith Power is close to five thousand, supplied by both his followers and what he accumulated previously, and this number is still rising.

It’s undeniable that the Faith System followers in Tier Two Worlds provide a total Faith Power incomparable to Tier One Worlds. They’re not only more powerful and higher tiered, but also more professional and pray more efficiently than non-Faith System people.

If he can take over this world, making everyone have faith, he would surely gain a massive amount of Faith Power and elevate his Authority to a very high level.

Direct enhancement?

No, before that, there’s something more important.

[Prompt: Confirm bestowing 500 Faith Power to the Primordial Apostle?]

Yes.

[Please select the Blessing Type]

A: Basic Attribute Enhancement

B: Same Type Attribute Enhancement

C: Balanced Enhancement

Choose C.

In an instant, 500 units of Faith Power are consumed, feeling a bit painful.

But the discovery of Yuan Chu is the core reason he can make this decision, creating great benefits for Ye Mingqiu, and it’s normal to reward some benefits to followers after gaining them.

More importantly, the Primordial Apostle is the initial follower of the Lord of Light and Shadow, having special significance compared to others.

If she weren’t there, the initial number of followers of the Lord of Light and Shadow would be zero. Without followers, Ye Mingqiu would likely not be able to obtain the true Nine-star Title.

Thus, even if Ye Mingqiu advances to Tier Two and the Primordial Apostle’s strength struggles to keep up, he wouldn’t easily give up on this follower because the amount of Faith Power she contributes daily is very high, much more than those of the same level.

[Prompt: Your follower [Primordial Apostle] offers you sincere faith, Faith Power +18]

The feedback amount is considerable!

[Prompt: Main Quest Third Loop Activated]

[Main Quest - Third Loop - Rescue]

[Task Objective: Contain the crisis in Endless Divine Remains World and rescue the world from peril]

[Task Reward: Soul Fragment×1]

[Task Duration: None]

[Failure Penalty: None]

The task in the final loop is indeed to resolve the world crisis. Tasks in prior loops were paving the way for the final loop, and the task flow perfectly aligns with the native plan.

What’s more, the task rewards include Soul Fragments, and if high task completion is achieved, several Soul Fragments can surely be claimed.

”The real plan is about to start!”

Ye Mingqiu laughed to himself.

....

Starlight Church, Conference Room

Ye Mingqiu sat across from the Archbishop and said with a smile, ”You’ve probably tested the Faith Power enough, right? How is it?”

”The effect is excellent. The instinct-triggered faith Buff from the deceased Star God is completely unmatched compared to you. You truly deserve the title of Lord of the Fierce Sun; this gap is beyond our imagination,” the Archbishop said with his head bowed.

Is the difference that large?

Ye Mingqiu’s expression shifted slightly. He didn’t deliberately hide this change but curiously asked, ”Is the gap that big?”

”Yes, the effect averages a gap of 4 to 5 times.”

”Hahaha, hahaha, hahahahaha!”

Ye Mingqiu suddenly laughed, leaning forward and back, as if he heard something amusing.

Then, he stopped laughing, looked at the Archbishop in front of him, and said, ”Then I’ll give you a new option. Without relying on Otherworld travelers or myself, achieve strength through faith, and use that strength to save the world. What do you think?”

”We strive for this,” the Archbishop replied, bowing his head.

”Then let’s do it this way.”

Ye Mingqiu said.

This arrangement brings great benefits.

First of all, personal involvement in saving isn’t necessarily more efficient than letting these Faith Power practitioners act, given that they’ve already researched the world-ending crisis but lacked the power to resolve it safely. With enough power, their problem-solving speed would surely surpass that of Spiritualists.

After all, from the beginning, they’ve been guiding the Spiritualists in problem-solving; their guiding speed can’t compare to having them act directly.

Even if Ye Mingqiu takes initiative, it still requires time to understand and make judgments and trade-offs, consuming considerable time and effort.

Having these Faith Power practitioners act grants abundant Faith Power.

Additionally, these practitioners’ power roots from Ye Mingqiu; without his power, they couldn’t progress as smoothly. Thus, the Spirit Realm would definitely credit the success to him, meaning a high task completion rate.

He wins twice, a double win!
