”Terrifying as this!”

Ye Mingqiu couldn’t help but marvel.

The initial professional skills of the War Tyrant actually include five full skills, and they’re all three-star skills with extremely high practical value, although this profession doesn’t seem to have much to do with support.

He took a deep breath, calmed down a bit, and then clicked the skill upgrade button.

[Tip: Upgrading the War Roar skill to Level 2 requires 1000 Spiritual Points. Do you wish to upgrade?]

Hmm... it doesn’t feel that expensive?

Upgrade!

[Tip: War Roar skill level increased to Level 2]

Then he clicked on the skill level upgrade behind War Roar.

[Tip: Upgrading the War Roar skill to Level 3 requires 2000 Spiritual Points. Do you wish to upgrade?]

The cost of Spiritual Points has directly doubled!

Ye Mingqiu calculated that upgrading all five skills to Level 3 would cost 14000 Spiritual Points, and he only had 8126 right now, lacking six thousand points, completely insufficient.

I’m really poor!

Additionally, not all skills can be enhanced with Spiritual Points. For example, the self-learning skills of a Mage, or the Skill Understanding of Ye Mingqiu, cannot be strengthened through upgrades.

The strength of Skill Understanding entirely depends on the user’s comprehension and mastery. The more proficient they are, the stronger the effects they can exert.

But generally speaking, the initial strength of Spirit Realm skills is slightly lower than that of Skill Understanding, but they can quickly surpass and even create a large gap after skill level upgrades.

This doesn’t mean self-learned skills are useless. The insights and understanding from learning skills don’t disappear. These insights and understandings can also benefit when learning other similar skills, thereby improving learning efficiency.

Spirit Realm skills can also enhance proficiency through insights and understanding, and then upgrade. For example, Lei Peng tried to enhance the proficiency of [Petrifying Skin] by getting hit, which is an indirect way to save Spiritual Points.

However, the time and energy of a Spiritualist are limited. If there are too many skills, it’s challenging to have the time to study and master all kinds of skills simultaneously. In such cases, using Spiritual Points to upgrade is a good choice.

The only downside is that it’s expensive

”Sigh!”

Ye Mingqiu sighed, thinking: There’s nothing I can do, just have to first open the treasure chests acquired from the Chaoge battlefield. Although not many were acquired, at least there can be some gains, to earn more Spiritual Points to upgrade skills.

[Bulk opening of treasure chests in progress...]

[Congratulations, you’ve acquired: 1676 Spiritual Points]

[Congratulations, you’ve acquired: A jug of water]

[Congratulations, you’ve acquired: Nine-Ring Saber]

[Congratulations, you’ve acquired: Witchcraft Robe]

...

A variety of things exploded in abundance, some useful and some not. Spiritual Points are always useful, but items like water and jerky don’t hold much meaning.

But it’s okay, he chose to continue keeping them; after all, the Storage Space in the Spirit Realm has no limit, and these things are Spirit Realm products. If someone wants to use theft skills on him, it would be quite amusing.

The most likely theft result is....

You stole a jug of water

You attracted the War Tyrant’s attention

You died

The War Tyrant has no primary attribute, and the four-dimensional attributes grow evenly. The mental attribute is high, so it’s impossible for Ye Mingqiu not to be aware after being stolen from. Moreover, it’s highly likely he could quickly reverse-track the thief due to having a high enough Spirit.

Then, a direct combo of Killing Intent Fluctuation + War Roar + Furious Pursuit, taking them down with a smooth combo.

Killing Intent Fluctuation is a mental determination; the greater the spirit gap, the higher the damage. Which thief can invest in Spirit? It’s already lucky if they aren’t instantly killed.

Very impressive!

Looking at the 9802 Spiritual Points on the panel and the hungry skills awaiting him, Ye Mingqiu felt a strangely familiar sensation surging within.

It’s just like when he used to play games with Tang Ruobing. He would see a great item that required spending money, but he didn’t have resources on hand. Even spending money wouldn’t get it, so what should he do?

The answer is...

”Junior, studying has been quite exhausting lately, right?”

”Let me grind levels for you~”

”Haha, after all, I’m from the Warrior System and don’t need to spend as much time learning magic theory....”

”No worries, no worries, you go ahead!”

Then, Ye Mingqiu successfully accessed fun things, but after enjoying them, he would feel another one of those inexplicable gaps when returning to his own account, and that gap, along with the shame of relying on a junior, would cause him pain, leading to unwise spending often.

And then drawing the wrong cards

Damn!

The scariest thing in this world is never having nothing, but having false power, glory, and then feeling the gap when returning to oneself, making it easier to act unwisely.

After a brief reflection, Ye Mingqiu also realized how absurd his past actions were, but that was him - his former self. Acknowledging one’s mistakes, correcting them, and walking the right path is growth.

People must change!

Afterward, Ye Mingqiu spent 4000 Spiritual Points to upgrade all five skills to Level 2, then spent another 4000 points to raise Indestructible and Undying Tyrant to Level 3, leaving 1802 Spiritual Points for emergencies.

After all, there are many places in the current world where Spiritual Points can be used, and spending them all in one go in the Spirit Realm isn’t a wise choice.

Next...

Let’s check out the equipment!

Setting a small goal: replace all equipment with Bronze Level or higher!

Ye Mingqiu started searching for equipment, but soon lost his smile as there were simply too many pieces of equipment in his Storage Space. Checking one by one would take a long time to compare and see which equipment’s attributes were higher.

Sigh!

Having too much equipment is also a type of trouble~

As he flipped through, Ye Mingqiu remembered Xia Qingxue once laughing in class: ”Let me tell you, during a trial in the Spirit Realm, I got a piece of Bronze Level equipment!”

Classmates all chimed in

”You actually got equipment?”

”And it’s even Bronze Level!”

”Wow, that’s impressive!”

”Truly our department’s number one support!”

Recalling this, Ye Mingqiu’s face beamed with an incredibly bright smile. Now, the Bronze Level equipment in his bag was piling up like a mountain.

Truly troublesome~
