Chapter 1136: Reunion

Within the Divine Realm, Anthony’s subordinates arrived one after the other. Each of them stepped into the Divine Realm as though they owned the place, their presence heavy, space bending as though it moved to accommodate them. But the moment they fully arrived, their immense presence and aura vanished, as though they had never existed in the first place.

Spectre, ever the second-in-command, was the first to arrive. His katana hung by his waist, his black lightning rumbling around his body before gradually fading out, leaving behind not a single faint trace of its destructive nature.

Donna arrived in calm blue tranquility, as though water and aqua themselves could open portals to anywhere in existence. Her flowing blue hair and eyes were as serene as ever, a gentle smile appearing on her face as she took in her surroundings with quiet composure.

Litt appeared with a wide grin spread across his face, his toned muscles visible beneath his loosely worn, unbuttoned shirt. An earring hung on one ear while the other remained bare, his casual appearance contrasting sharply with the deadly aura he could exude at will. His soul-bound spear floated beside him, humming faintly as though alive.

Clement arrived as though he had always been there, as though he had already existed within the Divine Realm long before Anthony had even given the order for their gathering. His entire body was shrouded in darkness and shadow, not even a fragment of skin visible, not even his eyes. The boy seemed no different from ???’s default appearance. The shadows around him reacted to his mere presence, while any light that reached him was instantly devoured by the abyss that cloaked him.

Space itself froze and fractured at Vivian’s mere appearance, her beauty divine as ever, her face as icy and indifferent as it had always been. Her very presence seemed to freeze time itself, as though her ice could solidify even the particles of time for her convenience. Her flowing blue hair matched her elegant clothing perfectly as she stood with the calm serenity of a goddess untouched by mortal concerns.

Marcus appeared next, his demeanor as calm as ever. He simply smiled, dressed entirely in black, his Physique-bound sword, Celestine, hanging by his waist. He emitted no pressure or presence at all, yet every part of his being seemed to scream slash, slice, cut, split, basic techniques of the sword refined to an incomprehensible degree.

Ross was the next to arrive. Like Spectre, he wielded the lightning element, but his was not black, it was crimson red in color. It crackled gently around him, his sabre hanging loosely by his waist as he arrived with a calm demeanor that seemed ready to erupt at any moment if provoked or tested recklessly.

Arnold’s presence echoed into the Divine Realm. With his arrival, the entire environment seemed to react, not the Divine Realm itself, but the earth beneath everyone’s feet, as it resonated with his existence. Arnold’s affinity lay with the Earth element, and the ground seemed to rejoice at his presence. He placed his spear on his shoulder, wrapping his hand around it as he walked forward with indifferent calmness.

Mike arrived next, his hair slightly messy, a mixture of brown and black. His shirt remained open, exposing his chest, a wide grin resting on his lips. His entire body seemed to emit heat, and one could easily sense that he could command flames with absolute ease whenever he desired.

Evelyn arrived last, her presence so graceful that the trees within the area seemed to be filled with vitality from her mere arrival alone. Her hair was bright golden in color, perfectly matching her radiant eyes, as though she were a direct descendant of the Sun itself.

And with that, all ten subordinates of Anthony had arrived. Silence tore through the air at first. After all, it had been a while since they had all gathered like this, and in that time, a great deal had changed for each and every one of them.

They now all stood at the Apexus Mana Rank, possessing planetary-level combat prowess. Through the system, they had not merely advanced, they had cheated their way forward, slaughtering monsters, beasts, and powerful beings across various planets and solar systems to farm System Points, which they then used to purchase abilities, enhancements, and rare resources from the System Shop.

At the moment, most of them had acquired several ridiculous abilities, along with entirely new affinities that suited their growth and combat styles. Each of them also possessed a Perfect Grade Human Bloodline, elevating them far beyond what they once were.

They were nothing like their past selves. They could not be compared to who they were five years ago, when Anthony had first met them and changed their lives with a single drop of his blood.

Now, they stood at the pinnacle, capable of only being matched by individuals like Aaaninja, Aura Nova, Lucian, and Kingsley, as those individuals were anomalies in their own right.

Anthony’s Blood Servant ability had turned them into anomalies, but not his parents and grandparents due to the interference of ???, which was precisely why Mitchelle could still perceive their strings of Fate and Destiny without obstruction.

But the silence did not last even two seconds after the final arrival before it was broken, and it was Spectre who broke it.

”It’s been a while since we’ve gathered like this,” Spectre spoke, a calm expression resting on his face, his tone carrying a subtle sense of nostalgia.

The last time they had all gathered like this was when they were in a restaurant, sharing drinks and enjoying each other’s company before Anthony suddenly called upon them, causing them to vanish without paying. To this very day, they were still banned from that establishment.

Marcus immediately laughed as he stepped forward, pulling everyone into embraces with a bright smile on his face. ”What have all of you been up to?” he asked, his tone lively and genuine. He carried no air of mystery or overwhelming power around them, as such things were unnecessary within a circle like this.

”You are still as lively as ever, Marcus,” Litt replied with a smirk as they immediately shook hands, their familiarity evident.

”Vivian, Donna, how are your guilds and orphanages progressing?” Evelyn asked as she turned toward them, her tone warm and curious.

”Just fine,” Vivian replied calmly. ”It seems Anthony’s grandmother has taken quite a liking to you,” she added, a faint smile forming on her lips.

”I’m learning a lot under her guidance,” Evelyn replied with a soft smile, her voice carrying quiet respect.

”Hey, Spectre, I hope you’ve dropped that second-in-command demeanor and all that seriousness,” Mike joked, his grin widening as he spoke.

And with that, the group of ten friends immediately began joking with one another, asking about each other’s lives, experiences, and recent escapades. The atmosphere shifted into something far more relaxed and friendly, their laughter and voices filling the Divine Realm as they patiently awaited Anthony’s arrival, each of them enjoying the rare moment of reunion without restraint.
