Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Andrea Greenwood looked at Olivia Summer in astonishment, quickly piecing together the nurse’s earlier words, and spoke with a voice tinged with panic and timidity: ”Aunt, the nurse just said Nicole lost the baby because she took some medicine that promotes blood circulation, and she had been taking it for some time. Was it you...?”

Andrea Greenwood left the rest of the words unsaid.

Olivia Summer’s expression became deeply complex, and she murmured softly while looking at the door of the operating room: ”I didn’t mean to harm Nicole, but I don’t want anything to happen to my son... Jose can’t keep a dangerous woman by his side. If he can’t bring himself to sever this relationship, then I’ll be the executioner... Everyone is selfish. When faced with anything, the first thing that comes to mind is their own child, that’s the difference of a blood tie... I didn’t mean to harm Nicole, but I had no choice but to do this...”

Andrea Greenwood pursed her lips and, in a conflicted manner, looked at Olivia Summer and spoke in a low, serious voice: ”Auntie, Brother Jose still doesn’t know about the child... If he finds out you gave Nicole the... won’t he get angry and oppose you, returning to Nicole’s side and cherishing her even more?”

”Do you think I hadn’t thought of that before I did all this?” Olivia Summer looked at the doors of the operating room with their ”In Surgery” sign, her eyes unreadable, and said in a low voice: ”What I actually gave to Nicole is a floral tea that’s truly beneficial for women. The tea had saffron in it. Saffron promotes blood circulation and removes blood stasis, nourishes blood, and calms the mind; it has beauty-enhancing effects. I have heartache, and it’s Jose who bought the best saffron for me to brew tea with. Saffron is a very good and precious tonic for women, but it’s contraindicated for pregnant women because its blood circulation properties can lead to a miscarriage...”

”I learned from Camden that Nicole and Jose had a past, and given their current entanglement, I feared Nicole might truly bear Jose’s child. What would Jose do then? And what about you, his fiancée?”

”So I gave Nicole the floral tea with saffron in it. As long as she wasn’t pregnant, the saffron tea would be beneficial and harmless to her body. I didn’t expect that she really would get pregnant with Jose’s child...”

”It’s just that she and Jose really aren’t suitable for each other. So, I’m not worried if Jose finds out the truth, because he won’t blame me. Saffron is beneficial and harmless to women, and my intention in giving it to Nicole was good.”

”Aunt, you calculate well...” Andrea Greenwood smiled softly at Olivia Summer’s scheming, but her face was filled with worry and unease, ”I’m just afraid they’ll remain entangled. As long as Nicole stays by Brother Jose’s side, there could be another child, and I... Aunt, I don’t want to share my husband. Jose and I are the ones with a marriage agreement, and I don’t want Nicole wedging between us! Aunt, please help me this once, won’t you?”

Tears welled up in Andrea Greenwood’s eyes, and she bit her lip, looking utterly fragile and helpless.

Olivia Summer already liked Andrea Greenwood and couldn’t stand her tearful appearance, so she patted her hand and said in a serious tone: ”Tell me.”

”Let’s not tell Brother Jose that Nicole lost the baby because of the saffron. If Brother Jose asks, we’ll say Nicole took some medicine that caused the miscarriage...”

”If Brother Jose ends up resenting Nicole because of this, he won’t think about entangling with her again. And once I’m married to Jose, Nicole won’t be able to cling onto him anymore...”

”Aunt, while you can explain to Jose that giving the saffron was with good intentions, who knows if he’ll blame you. But if we do as I say, Jose will only resent Nicole, which has nothing to do with you, Aunt.”

”You don’t want Nicole getting close to Jose, do you, because you want to stop them from being together?...”
