Lord Shadow

Chapter 2095: Cosmic Clouds

his formation could not be broken.

Not even by him.

Not unless he truly harden his heart and did not care at all of the backlash and the atrocity that he would unleashed if he broke that barrier

That is why even Azief did not want to face the barrier that the Arrayist Master had created. It is a pity that he is nowhere to be found.

Maybe he hides in the Mirror Dimension.

Lee Sangmin...the reason why his barrier is so hard to break, was the fact that he uses the luck and fortune of the kingdom to construct it

These kind of intangible things, is the hardest to break. Ein if Azief could break it, it would kill all of the people that is protected by such a formation that uses fortune and luck of the people

Of course, Sangmin also included the will of the world in his formation. He is truly ahead of everyone else in the method of using magical formation to protect a city or a kingdom.

His method of using the will of the world itself could contend with the will of heaven

Even he would find it very hard to break it.

Even now, even as he reached Essence Creation, he would think twice before trying to break it.

Of course, the effect become less pronounced the more he advance but this did not mean it did not have any effect at all.

Azief himself is not a bloodthirsty person. And because of that he never intended to try any of Lee Sangmin array.

But in the end, the Lotus Order fell not from the machinations of foreign power but by their own disunited lords and rulers

With the Lotus Order being in disarray and with his old friends and allies scattered and dead, Lee Sangmin himself has become a recluse rarely appearing on Earth

No one knows whether he had surpass Disk Formation or whether he had reached the peak of Disk Formation

But this is not something that Pandemonium need to worry even if they do not have such a formation

Strong central authority and a strong leader made these kingdoms stable and peaceful

But the politics and intrigues of this kingdoms, states and government....Azief just by simply looking at the cause and effect between these kingdoms could not help but feel that while there is only a few of such problem, in a few hundred years, this problem would undoubtedly become larger

If one made a game based on the power and politics of Pandemonium it would be filled with all kinds of banners of lesser lords in the maps.

It is not entirely feudalism because the people are not helpless. After all, in the medieval world, one could restrict education. But here, who could restrict the energy of heaven and earth

A tavern keeper could be a Disk Formation expert and a beggar on the corner of the street could be some expert who likes cosplaying

The lords and kings are sometimes elected by the people of the city itself and sometimes is elevated to that position because people trust that they would protect their people

Instead of dying political power determine the king in the courtside, it is that champions are revered and honoured.

Those who become lords in these cities are people who contribute to the community and the people around them

Hence, their position is secured. It is not an age where they could just squeeze the people.

If they dare to do so without sufficient reason the people simply would assassinate or fight such heroes.

Not to mention, most of these lesser lords did not have the ability of powerhouses like him. If he squeeze people, whether the people hated him or not, they would not dare attack him

What supported him is not some bullshit right of kings

But because he is simply the strongest in the world. In this new era, being the strongest in the world means you are truly the strongest person in the world.

In the old era, even if you are the strongest person in the world, you could still be killed and be implicated in some kind of power struggle and be brought down.

In this new era being the strongest person in the world means you are basically immortal with few people in the world that could kill you

Gods basically.

As for the islands, these lesser lords sometimes would erect an island from the sand and soil and added a region on the edge corner of the continent to create as their own land.

This practice was then forbidden and only could be done if they got the license from the Central Land Acquisition and Requisition Department of the Central Court of Pandemonium

Because of this practice, the land of Pandemonium become too large.

And there still so many lands that is unowned and uninhabited.

But other than the massive size of Pandemonium, there is also the islands. There is thousands of island all over the seas that surround Pandemonium. And these island is also developing will

”That one look peaceful. But hell, it is certainly cursed”

Someone made a deal with that island. It seems island is more advanced than mountain, they developed their will first and even have such power to manipulate the world

”maybe it is related to the people that live in them” They are more people that choose to live on island than it is to live on mountains.

These island is also perfect for smuggling activities. And there is a lot of dungeons. Island itself in this new era is very large. Some are the size of a small continent and some are the size of a large continent of the Old Earth

”even these lands now have wills. And when there is will, there would be desire” he thought to himself and could not help but sighed

He then focused his mind once again and this time he look at different things.

It felt like he is scanning the land once again but this time he focuses on the people.

Right now, Azief himself did not realize it but the tribulation clouds is now enveloping not only Pandemonium but Earth itself

The tribulation clouds are enveloping the entire Earth.

If one look at Earth right now from the surface of the Moon they would see that there is a massive cosmic cloud.

What is a cosmic cloud?

The universe is filled with it.

But it is not really a cloud that shield earth or appear near Earth or could even be viewed from Earth

Astronomers called such cosmic clouds, nebulae or interstellar clouds

They are made of gas and dust.

The most well know is the Orion Nebula and the Carina Nebula.

And cosmic clouds also have their own types.

There is the nebulae which is basically a giant glowing clouds of gas and dust.

This is where new stars are born

Then there is the molecular clouds.

Dense cold clouds rich in hydrogen molecules. And then there is the starless relic.

Rare in some universe, common in some others. A gas rich cloud packed with dark matter that failed to turn into a galaxy.

And if you travelled more world and traverses the universe there would be many more of such cosmic clouds that you would find and discover

Of course, unless you are like those researchers of the Order of Thinkers most people would not bothered to investigate what kind of cosmic clouds it is.

And most simply categorize them as cosmic clouds

If one travels the Omniverse they could meet the Weave Swell nebulae.

Or one would called it the Arcane nebulae in some part of the Omniverse

Glowing iridescent clouds of pure, raw magic residue left behind by the creation of universes.

They consisted vaporized mana, and many other magical things.

No one really research about this clouds.

But they could be used.

It could act like a Multiversal power grids.

Some magical civilization would even sail their magical ship into it to recharge magic and sometimes even uses the effect of the cloud to cast reality bending magic.

Of course, there is also side effect from crashing headlong into such a cloud. Then there is the temporal clouds

The thing about temporal clouds is that the composition sometimes differed. And when it differs the function of such clouds would also differ

The common one is grey, shimmering clouds that drifts between timelines, trapping anything that enters inside an isolated bubble of time

This is the most common one. This kind of clouds is only a danger to beings that run, walk, or travel through time

For most of other beings, this cloud posed no danger at all since most being does not really have that ability or the inclination to mess around timelines.

Some of these temporal clouds do not trap.

Some spit you out into a different time and space and some even crush you to nonexistence if you are unlucky.

But the common one sometime appears after there is a disaster through the timeline.

Azief learn about this with Wargod.

Wargod told him that the being most adept at handling temporal clouds are the Time Lords and the Orvanians.

It is composed of dissolved chronological energy, sometimes paradox incongruencies and at time even something intangible as a deleted timeline

While its danger is quite terrifying, it could be used by those who have the knowledge to use it.

Powerful entities sometime use it to hide entire worlds or even a galaxy system from history or to bypass centuries of time by entering a fast forward pocket
