Longevity Begins From Raising Disciples

Chapter 280: Chapter 172: In the Palm of Master’s Hand

As for... whether to forgive the two apprentices.

That will have to wait until Chen Ye has enjoyed himself enough!

The black-haired elder apprentice also familiarly snuggled into the master’s embrace, no longer resisting like before, and carefully feeding the master:

”Master, open your mouth, ah—”

Chen Ye comfortably squinted his eyes, slightly opening his mouth under the elder apprentice’s coaxing, enjoying the pastries made by the apprentice herself.

Very nice, indeed.

Being taken care of by a little girl felt really good.

Perhaps,

No matter the age, females naturally possess a kind of maternal instinct, very skilled at taking care of people.

For instance, Chen Ye was well looked after by two little girls.

Like now, Chen Ye coughed once.

The black-haired little girl immediately brought tea, extending a small hand to pat the master’s back while gently blowing the tea cool:

”Master, eat slowly, Zhiwei has made plenty, no need to rush...”

Meanwhile, Qing Jun was huffing and puffing, washing the master’s feet.

She felt something was off.

Why!

Is she always the one doing the dirty work?

Last time was the same, Master was holding Senior Sister, while she was massaging from behind.

This time, she was down there washing feet, watching Senior Sister feed Master with wide eyes.

Despicable...

So unfair!

But thinking of the recent times when she felt sorry for the Master, the little girl had no choice but to swallow her resentment.

Damned!

In the future, she’ll surely show the Master her worth!

...

The two little dumplings finally got the Master to settle peacefully.

Only then did they tiredly lay on the bed.

”Senior Sister!”

Qing Jun lay on the bed, kicking the blanket with her little feet, pouting her lips,

”Do you think... Master hasn’t forgiven us yet?”

Zhiwei sat by the bedside, silently combing her hair that had been tousled by the master, also feeling somewhat puzzled in her heart.

Logically speaking, they’ve lowered themselves so much to please the Master, he should’ve calmed down.

But why does he always have a stern face as if very angry, even... taking advantage of it.

”Senior Sister, do you think... Master is doing it on purpose?”

Qing Jun suddenly sat upright, her big, bright phoenix eyes full of intelligence!

Zhiwei shook her head: ”Qing Jun, it is only right for apprentices to serve the Master...”

”Right?”

The little girl was very dissatisfied, suspecting Senior Sister had been brainwashed,

”But, we’re just two little girls!! How could Master need us to serve him!”

Too strange!

In the world, who would want to be taken care of by little girls!

Now that Master is a steward of the Lingyin Sect, if he wants to be served, why not buy a maid?

Qing Jun squinted her eyes, she found out the truth!

It must be that after Taoist Zhang died, his soul wants to take over Master, hiding inside Master’s body.

This has affected Master, making him want to be cared for by little girls!

”Senior Sister, Senior Sister!”

Qing Jun knelt on the bed, her silver hair like moonlight spilling over her snow-white little feet,

Her little face full of concern.

”Master... is in danger!”

”Danger?”

On the other side, the black-haired little girl furrowed her brows, not understanding.

”It’s Taoist Zhang! It must be the ghost of that scoundrel Taoist Zhang hiding inside Master!”

Qing Jun spoke with a tone as if she’s seen through everything, full of certainty,

”Only this can explain why Master is behaving so... so strangely! He must want to take over Master!”

”...”

Zhiwei suspected she was too tired today to be actually considering Qing Jun’s words.

She turned over, silently closing her eyes to sleep.

”Damned, everything Qing Jun said is true!” The little girl was suddenly anxious, wriggling on her Senior Sister’s body.

She has no desire to wash Master’s feet again!

If Master is really possessed, wouldn’t they have every right to bully Master?

Though this definitely couldn’t be said directly to Senior Sister.

”Oh, so what should we do?” Zhiwei casually responded.

”We... we must find a way to drive that scoundrel’s ghost out of Master’s body!” Qing Jun waved her little fists, speaking with determination.

”But... how to drive it out?”

”This...” Qing Jun scratched her head, her clever little mind momentarily stalled. She thought for a long time before her eyes brightened, leaning close to Zhiwei’s ear, speaking mysteriously, ”I have a good idea...”

”...Sigh.” Zhiwei sighed, not wishing to hear her little sister’s crooked ideas again.

If she hadn’t listened to her little sister’s ideas last time, she wouldn’t be in this predicament now, right?

”Hehehehe...”

Suddenly, a strange sound came from Zhiwei’s embrace.

Qing Jun hugged her arms with a chill: ”What a strange sound! Just listening to it makes Qing Jun scared!”

”Shh!”

Zhiwei’s expression was serious, lifting up the Jade Pendant hanging from her neck,

”This is Master’s laughter, hmm? In the middle of the night, why does Master suddenly laugh?”

...

”Hmph! In the end, girls are just girls, unable to escape from Master’s palms!”

Chen Ye, after confirming the two apprentices were lying in bed, silently opened the door of the Quiet Chamber.

His figure flickered and, like a phantom, vanished into the courtyard of the Inner Valley.

The reason the two apprentices were apologetic was because they thought he and Lin Jin were merely physician and patient.

But it wasn’t the case.

Chen Ye had long intended to take Lin Jin as an apprentice.

Although temporarily just a registered apprentice, a registered apprentice is still an apprentice.

Fortunately.

These two little girls still don’t know Chen Ye’s plan.

If they knew, they would naturally be jealous. They surely wouldn’t act as they are now, with Chen Ye accepting apprentices and still getting their efforts to please him.
