Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4539: Endgame II

In the Injunction Sanctuary of Law, within a grand domain in the shattered skies where authority itself seemed to crystallize into visible form, Alexander Asmodeus opened his eyes.

The moment his consciousness fully returned, he felt the glorious Absolute Sovereignty of Law permeating every aspect of his existence. The Shattered Part of The Heart of Law had integrated completely, fusing with his being at the most fundamental level.

His body radiated such pure authority that the very concept of lawlessness seemed to flee from his presence. Law emanated from him like light from a star, touching everything within range.

He could feel the pathways of power laid out before him with crystalline clarity. After all, this was a path already laid down and completed by another. Gaining False THE status would be trivially easy from this position, a simple matter of pushing his Sovereignty just slightly further along established routes.

But something made him hesitate.

There was a better route to take, he sensed. A path that would require more time and effort but would yield results that transcended the limitations of False THE entirely. The distinction was subtle but profound, like the difference between building on a flawed foundation versus taking time to establish something truly solid!

He would pursue the harder path, because mediocrity had never been acceptable. Not for him. Not for the countless lives inside his Enneagram!

As he rose from his meditative position, his body radiating waves of pure lawful authority, Deborah and her entire Legion of Laws moved as one. They bent the knee toward him in synchronized motions of absolute commitment.

Deborah’s voice carried reverence as she spoke.

”The Sovereignty of Law is clearly budding within you with utmost purity, taking root with strength we have not witnessed in ages,” she said. ”The Reclamation of Law can occur from this point forward. We will follow your lead without question or hesitation, so please, command us as you see fit.”

Her words were not mere platitudes but binding commitment from one who understood the weight of such declarations.

Behind this display of loyalty, Seraphina Valorheart watched the scene unfold with eyes shining with fervor. Her expression showed genuine admiration mixed with something more complex, but really, it was just this girl being utterly smitted

Even further behind her position, the gazes of various Dukes of Law met each other with decidedly mixed emotions written across their features. They had genuinely hoped and expected for Seraphina Valorheart to be the one to take the commanding lead in the Reclamation of Law.

But this outcome seemed increasingly unlikely now!

Further behind even them, Riya, Malphas, and Kael stood among groups of Primus Inevitabilities that had been left behind to maintain presence in this place. They observed the proceedings with the detached perspective of those who served a different master.

Riya spoke with weight in her voice.

”More and more power accumulates in this place and these people as their eyes burn with hope,” she said with quiet observation. ”Yet none of them truly know that nothing has fundamentally changed. None of them understand that the variables they think they control are nothing, and even now...the light remains dim...”

...!

Kael looked at her with confusion evident in his expression.

”What do you mean by that, troublemaker? Since when did you becime philosophical?” he asked with genuine curiosity.

Riya just shook her head with something resembling melancholy.

”Nothing,” she said while turning away, a smile forming on her lips. ”I just miss the Ancestor.”

In another region of The Wandering Territories, The First Farmer opened his eyes.

He sat within a field of verdant-gold herbs that stretched to the horizon in every direction. Around his existence, extremely potent waves of the same verdant-gold effort permeated the atmosphere, saturating everything with concentrated authority.

He had already attained an extremely high level of power before THE Living Emotive had crushed his foundation. That defeat had set him back considerably, stripping away progress that had taken eons to accumulate.

But after consuming the Fruits of Effort, all that glorious accumulated effort had catapulted him back toward his previous Sovereignty with astonishing speed. The recovery had been faster than he had dared hope!

Right now, his goal was clear and unwavering: achieving the state of a Pre-THE Existence.

His daughter Elyndra walked over from behind his position, her steps careful not to disturb the surrounding herbs. She looked at her father with a question that had been weighing on her mind.

”Father, what is the fundamental distinction between False THE and Pre-THE Existences?” she asked.

The First Farmer considered the question with the patience of someone who had spent lifetimes contemplating such matters.

”False THE is a state where one has touched upon their Sovereignty and have laid a false claim over their Way, but has not truly begun walking toward THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty,” he explained with measured words. ”It is power borrowed or mimicked rather than genuinely claimed. Like wearing armor that belongs to someone else. It is easire to lay that claim over Existence, even if it is false....”

He gestured to the fields around them.

”Pre-THE is different. It represents genuine progress toward THE, actual advancement along that path. The difference is between pretending to be something and actually becoming it through proper cultivation. But False could lead to the truth.”

His eyes focused on his daughter with paternal concern.

”For you, Pre-THE would be a distant dream at your current level of development, so False THE would represent a significant first step forward. But if I can help you avoid that intermediate state entirely, that would be far better. You would be able to genuinely grasp Pre-THE without the limitations that come from taking shortcuts.”

Elyndra nodded with understanding before her expression shifted to something more serious.

”Father, something is approaching,” she said with tension entering her voice. ”The forces of Sir Osmont have informed me that an enemy at the level of a Pre-THE Existence may be coming. They say we need to prepare for potential conflict.”

The words hung in the air between them with heavy implication.

The First Farmer rose to his full height, and as he did so, the fields around them seemed to respond to his movement. The herbs swayed in patterns that defied natural wind.

”Effort is the foundation of all growth,” he said with voice carrying authority that made the ground tremble. ”Farming is the art of nurturing that growth with patience and dedication. Many entities across existence believe that nurturers and farmers cannot be effective fighters.”

His eyes gleamed with something dangerous.

”They hold this belief because they have never witnessed the true power of those who farm. They do not understand that one who can cultivate life can just as easily cultivate death. That one who understands growth also understands decay.”

He looked toward the horizon where threats would eventually emerge.

”It may be time to teach this lesson to those who have forgotten it,” he said with finality. ”Let them come. These fields will welcome them, and the harvest will be bountiful.”

BOOM!

His words carried the weight of absolute conviction.

The farmer was ready to fight, and that was a terrifying prospect for anyone who truly understood what that meant!
