In Another World with Absolute Awareness

”I’m back, Hau~”

Aventine walked into Hau’goth’s restaurant, carrying a thick stack of papers. His report on the entity known as included a profile of over a hundred of her puppets’ identities.

However, the Info-Hunter conveniently concealed the truth behind Bliekon’s existence.

It would be too... nonsensical for a D-Rank Adventurer like him to scratch at the secrets of something above A-Rank like the .

Thus, the grim light behind Hau’goth’s spectacles, drenching his eyes in darkness, spoke volumes of how seriously he was taking this report.

”I’m glad I asked you to do this, Aventine. Actually, I think it’s best if you stay at my place for now. I will be contacting the Empire’s guards to investigate these people for me. There’s a high chance that they’re looking for you now too.”

Aventine smiled. ”Of course. Thank you for the offer, Hau— I’ll take you up on that. I already spotted them trying to search for me.”

Chuckling, he pointed outside and then at his face. ”They were going around with a portrait of me, making shady deals for others to keep an eye out or something. I’m not sure.”

Hau’goth huffed, ”What a troublesome group. I wonder why they all migrated here? They aren’t from races that usually get along. Some of them are even quite the rare bunch!”

Hearing this, Aventine just threw up his hands in resignation. ”Whatever organization they’re from, they can’t really do much against the Empire.”

”Well, of course. I’m more concerned about how this will affect my flour shipments! With the humans and demons so entrenched in war, there has also been a bit of difficulty in procuring cinnamon!”

”Ah...” Aventine blinked. ”Valid, I guess.”

Inwardly, he thought, ’Is this the mentality of someone who manages a barony-sized area with hundreds of millions of residents?’

It was certainly a bit difficult for him to fully empathize with the scale.

When Aventine visited the library in Hau’goth’s personal tower, he felt the joys of being a rich landlord.

Soothing wisps of mana permeated every corner of the library, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and clarity. Here, he felt calm and capable of greater feats with the mind.

Using [Absolute Awareness] here was akin to enjoying a bit of menthol in a cigarette.

”Hm,”

Aventine enjoyed the air for a moment before making his way towards one of the private meditation rooms.

The library was basically empty, populated only by Hau’goth’s maids, butlers, and staff.

If the landlord’s guests had any requests, they would do their utmost to fulfill them.

’Eventually, I will have enough legally obtained wealth that no one would suspect.’

Then, Aventine could hire staff and helpers like the ones in Hau’goth’s estate. From there, he could enjoy a life of luxury...

’Ha. Never.’

He was never one to indulge in the stability of living in one place for a long time. The only reason why he remained in Grakkis now was that he needed a place to complete his research.

Once he completed this first batch, perhaps he would move on deeper into Walvaskaz.

However, if Taylor’s fate was as chaotic as he guessed, perhaps accompanying this protagonist template for a little while would also be enjoyable.

After all, Clementine also had a female lead template.

That would make for a fun journey full of hardship.

’Let’s see where the Game of Walvaskaz takes me...’

—Swaaaah.

Upon entering one of the meditation rooms, Aventine was greeted by a great concentration of mana. Instantly, he felt as if his natural mana regeneration had tripled.

’A nice room,’

Perhaps he needed to create a few formations for his Mage Tower as well. Daimyuon’s knowledge contained many that he could freely access. would also serve him well in constructing one unique to himself.

lifted Aventine off his feet as he meditated in midair. concealed his actions with a veil of darkness and shadows.

Of course, the concealment was multi-layered.

The first one made it seem like he was just being a cautious D-Rank Adventurer. The second layer, on the other hand, hid the true scope of his abilities, just in case Hau’goth had some method to gauge his strength.

’This should be appropriate for now...’

Thinking this, Aventine’s eyes gleamed.

[Absolute Awareness].

[Perfect Estimate].

[Power of the Sea].

[Power of the Sky].

[Power of Death].

Papers and tomes flew out of the , filling the darkness. Ink flowed like branching streams, marking itself onto designated pages as Aventine multitasked.

He continued constructing his Psychic Technique, referencing both the methods made available by the Gaea System, as well as the unique techniques available in this world.

For now, he was constructing the precise method to break through his current Mind bottleneck.

So far, he had deciphered the results of certain methods and theorized a complete framework up to B-Rank.

That was to imbue his Mind and Will into:

His blood (F-Rank).

His bones (E-Rank).

His flesh (D-Rank).

His internal organs (C-Rank).

...And his skin (B-Rank).

A-Rank and above would adopt a similar style, but Aventine had yet to figure those out. This framework was enough to work with for a long time.

The only question he had now was to figure out the exact design of how, in hell, he could imbue his Mind and Will into his blood, bones, flesh, etc.

Thus, he began his research.

Specifically, the notes he had on the Chained Demons provided the greatest help. They were capable of channeling their malice into inanimate objects. In a way, this was the same as instilling objects with their will.

Now, Aventine also had Bliekon’s puppets and Spirit Threads as references. If the Spindeiron was capable of directing her thoughts through the threads and even move her soul along such threads, perhaps he could do the same—but for his Mind and Will.

It was only a matter of scouring their processes and understanding the underlying phenomena.

Then he would adapt it for the sake of his needs.

’...Easier said than done.’

Even with all his advantages, he still couldn’t figure it out instantly. Creating something new out of what he had was proving to be a challenge.

’But... this is fun too.’

Truly, he was being infected by the Philosophy of Undeath.
