I Only Summon Villainesses

Chapter 417: Fool Me Twice, Shame On You!

Immediately, I ignored them and reached for my clothes, I picked it up and unraveled everything. However, nothing came out, not the pouch, not my coins.

Only a piece of paper that weightlessly drifted downwards and settled on the ground.

I picked up the paper and rolled it open, in it was written in simple Sol’Atheric.

”No hard feelings, but I have important matters to tend to. Oh and I’ll be lending your money, all of them... and the backup you kept hidden.”

My mouth fell when I read this.

After the experience in El Mercado, I put more thought to how I kept my money and where I kept it, so I divided them, put one where it was easily accessible and put the other farther into my clothes.

’You mean to tell me she discovered the second one!’

My hands lost strength and dropped down, my gaze vanishing into the distance.

For a moment, I thought she was sincere. I thought that... she had eyes on me. After all, she had been watching me since the Night Battle, and she even initiated it.

’She took advantage of me...’

That thing with the one thing that I liked the most.

’And she stole all of my money.’

I covered my face with both hands, and dropped my head with a guttural groan. The room shuddered and the thieves bolted out of the door, in that instant, almost pissing themselves as they ran for their lives.

For a few seconds, I was crouched on the ground, face buried in absolute disappointment for myself.

’I should have known damnit!’

I guess it just didn’t occur to me, that people really would use sex, something so delicate, delicious and personal as a weapon to rob someone.

But then again, this was how it was back on Earth; I was just inexperienced and naive.

And now, I was learning my lesson pretty well.

Finally, I removed my hands and raised my head, glaring into the distance.

”Sulin, you owe me, and I don’t forget debts, I’ll have you pay me back a hundred times.”

I vowed that moment, and then much later, dressed up and headed down to the counter, to meet the Attendant and explain myself.

But when I reached there, it wasn’t the aged man that was there; it was a young lady with brown hair and brown-foxy ears on her head.

”I’m sorry customer, we don’t offer a refund. But if you’re that desperate you could sell out the room to someone around for a lesser price?”

The idea she gave was reasonable but I didn’t have the time to wait around for that. I had only stayed here to pass the stormy day and the night, before setting on my journey. And more importantly, I only bothered to stop because I was on a journey with Sulin and Harter.

Remembering again, I silently seethed with anger.

’I will collect my debts, from both of them.’

I looked at the new attendant lady and smiled warmly.

”Can you at least give me some cheap supply, food, blanket and anything, then you can sell the rooms later and have the money to yourself?”

I gave her a wink.

She looked reluctant but blushed slightly.

’Yeah, no shit. Fool me twice shame on you!’

Then she sighed.

”Alright, but I’ll be doing this out of my personal pocket, please don’t do these sort of thing elsewhere, okay?”

I nodded amicably.

”I promise.”

”Wait here.”

She went inside and only came back after a few long minutes. When she came back though, she did so with something surprising.

Holding a bracelet in her hand delicately, she handed it out to me.

Confused, I blinked at it.

”What is...”

”It’s a storage device.”

My eyes widened.

”I rarely use it these days, but I managed to pack a few things. Oh, please don’t feel indebted to me, this thing is less pricey than one Lord-tier room, so if I manage to sell the rooms tonight, it’ll be my gain.”

Then she shot me a frown a second later.

”As long as you don’t tell on me.”

Immediately I shook my head.

”Never!”

I shouted at first, losing control but quickly reined my voice.

”I mean, it’ll never happen, trust me.”

Then I rummaged through my clothes and brought out a black card.

This was the one-time use non-traceable card that Lady Hue had given me. I had a couple of them around, although they were supposed to be temporary, till she reached out to me. They were also a way for her to reach out to me.

I handed it to the lady with a grateful smile. It was her turn to study it with confusion now.

”Whenever you need something, anything, shout the passcode and tear the paper, a lady will appear to you. Then you can tell her whatever you need, the passcode is Kassie’s Ass Cracker. Don’t forget, Kassie’s Ass Cracker.”

I patted her hands and left her with it.

Up until when I left the Inn, she continued to look very confused.

’I hope she remembers the passcode, else, she’d just be wasting the card.’

I slipped the bracelet into my hand and gave it an appreciative look.

This lady didn’t know how much, I had wanted one of these things.

I beamed as I made my way through the clear darkness, heading towards the depth of the city.

The city was not large, in fact, it was not a city at all the more I walked further, it was merely a small town of a small number of people. Further behind them was filled with thin, pale trees that were eerily tall and thin.

The forest beyond the city gave it the deception of size. But it was just as scanty as Rivermarrow.

I did not stop, through the night, I traveled through the forest.

Although the night was cold, the storms were not as heavy and terrifying as the day that we came to this place.

Well, that was just the one thing that went well for me that night.

There were several other things that did not. And the storm, became something I wish had bothered me instead.

At least with its rage, these damn Spirit Beasts would feel the need to hide somewhere till it passed!
