I’m really just an NPC

Chapter 62

Chapter 62
”What about sneaking out? After all, the Great Barren Mountain is so big, we can consider changing the direction, going farther, and leaving from other places.”

Botong shook his head: ”This method can only be used as a last resort. The Wilderness Mountains are very dangerous. Once we encounter a B-level monster, both of us will be finished. It is better not to go deep into the mountains if we can. The best way is to start from the original place.” Go ahead and leave at the Great Barren Mountain.”

Bo Tong curled his lips when he said this,
”I don’t know who Wang Teng is that you killed. He deserves such desperate revenge from the Wang Consortium. He even mobilized such a powerful sky warrior. It’s really...”

Botong wanted to curse, but finally held back.

Lin Fan also felt very sad. He didn’t want to kill Wang Teng, but who let the necklace do it first?

It’s all Murphy’s fault!
Lin Fan was dejected for a while: ”Oh!”

”Don’t think too much, relax. Now that I have brought you out, I won’t leave you alone.”

Seeing that Lin Fan was not in a good mood, Broadcom expressed relief, ”At least we are still safe now, let’s think about these troublesome things tomorrow.

You go and drag those two giants out of the cave, their bodies stink too much here. Also, on the way I came to find you, I met a blind bird. I killed it and put it at the entrance of the cave. You will bring it in later to make a delicious meal. ”

Botong was injured and urgently needed high-nutrition monster meat to supplement his energy.

Lin Fan nodded, and took over the rough work.

The two giants looked a bit bigger, but in fact the largest male giant only weighed over 600 jins. Lin Fan easily dragged the two giants out of the cave in one trip.

Lin Fan casually threw the two giants far away, and then found the bird Botong mentioned on the other side of the cave entrance.

”Hey, it turned out to be this golden eagle!”

What a coincidence.

In fact, it’s not a coincidence. The monsters in the wilderness mountains all have their own territories. This golden eagle’s territory is probably nearby. When he sees a strange creature, he always wants to come forward and show off his power.

But who knew that it provoked the wrong person, and its head was smashed by Broadcom.

The ventilation effect in the hall was very good. When Lin Fan humped the body of the golden eagle back, the stench in the hall had almost completely dissipated.

Seeing that Broadcom had started a fire, Lin Fan frowned: ”Where did you get so much dry firewood?”

Botong pointed to the top of his head: ”I just jumped up and picked it up.”

Lin Fan raised his head, and couldn’t help admiring: ”You’re injured, and your jumping ability is really good, I’m envious!”

”Stop talking nonsense and prepare food quickly. I’m starving!”

Lin Fan quickly put down the huge golden eagle corpse and began to pluck out the hair. Botong came up to help, and in a short time, all the golden eagle’s hair was removed.

Lin Fan also found a goose egg-sized psychic crystal from the golden eagle’s belly, which Botong happily put into his backpack.

Then Botong slipped out two large buckets of water from his backpack: ”Use this water to disembowel the chicken and clean it. Half of it will be used to make soup and the other half will be grilled.”

”It’s not a chicken...”

”Well, it should taste better than chicken.”

Lin Fan: ”...but we don’t have a pot to make soup. I only have a saucepan, which can’t hold water.”

”Wait a moment.” Botong got into the divine substance laboratory through the dog hole.

After a while, Broadcom came back with a bunch of pots and pans: ”Look, I found it in the living area. It’s stainless steel. It hasn’t rusted for more than 50 years. It’s of good quality.”

Lin Fan: ”...”

Broadcom’s thinking is even more flexible than his.

Lin Fan took the pots and pans and boiled water, put a small half of the chicken... the golden carving meat into the pot and started to stew, and the other half began to peel wooden sticks to prepare the meat for barbecue.

The material of the wooden stick is the branch that Broadcom folded from the top of the head. It is a common tree species on Aquamarine. It is not poisonous, but has a faint fragrance.

”There are seasonings here.” With everything in the backpack, Broadcom took out a seasoning box, began to sprinkle salt into the pot, and said boldly, ”Today I will let you try my craft.”

The water boiled and simmered for a while. Botong tasted the soup and said, ”Smash~ It’s just right sweet and salty. It’s a pity that it’s dark. Otherwise, I could go find some wild mushrooms and put them in to taste better.”

”That’s pretty good.”

Lin Fan also tasted it, and found that the taste was really good.Although Botong added a little too much salt, the meat itself is very delicious, and the aroma of the meat has been integrated into the soup, which makes you feel warm all over.

Suddenly, Botong, who was rummaging through his backpack, shouted, ”Huh? Isn’t this some grass we picked underground in Pojun City? You said it was a herbal medicine. Can it be used as a mushroom?”

Lin Fan took a look and found that Botong was holding a vine grass.

”Not all herbs can be used in pots. Eating dragon vine grass can make people excited and contains slight toxins...”

Botong was unwilling to give up: ”Will it poison people to death?”

”That’s not the case. The poison of snakeweed is weaker than that of snake grass. Even if ordinary people eat it raw, they will only have diarrhea. And the stronger the body, the better the resistance to various toxins. People like you, I I guess even if you eat one raw it will be fine.”

”That’s good, let’s add some flavor to the soup.” Botong shook his hands and threw a piece of weed into the pot.

Lin Fan: ”...”

It seems that he can only eat barbecue for a while.

Or make a second pot of broth by yourself.

The golden-carved meat was cut into pieces, and Lin Fan carefully threaded the pieces of meat onto the sticks. Botong on the side was very knowledgeable, but Lin Fan always felt that his skills were a bit rusty.

”Boss Botong, have you ever grilled meat before?” Lin Fan couldn’t help but ask.

Broadcom smacked his mouth: ”It’s roasted...but it’s not as complicated as yours. I’m a big piece of meat and roasted directly on the fire. It tastes old.”

The skin must be very burnt and black...

Thinking of Bo Tong throwing things into the pot, Lin Fan no longer had any hope in Bo Tong’s cooking skills.

Sure enough, when the grill was set up with stones and started to barbecue, Broadcom’s so-called superb cooking skills were immediately revealed.

”Lin Fan, why do you use the tip of a knife to pierce those pieces of meat when you barbecue??”

”Lin Fan, why do you dip your barbecue in salt water?”

”Lin Fan, why is the meat you roasted different from mine? The meat on the bamboo skewer in my hand is already black. Why is yours golden yellow and still sizzling? Is it cooked? ?”

Lin Fan couldn’t bear it anymore, and handed the bamboo stick in his hand to Broadcom: ”Hurry up and shut your mouth with this meat!!”

Botong threw away the black charcoal in his hand without saying a word, took the golden-yellow barbecue, and ate it happily: ”Sizzling~ It’s so fragrant and tender!”

Lin Fan: ”...”

He could only pick up the other two skewers of raw meat and continue to roast them.

Lin Fan’s barbecue skills are very good. This is because his assistant chef profession in his previous life has been upgraded to a professional level. If the ingredients and seasonings are sufficient, the food he makes is more delicious than the hotel chef, and even better than the half-baked Botong. Don’t know where it went.

The monster meat containing psychic energy was very delicious, tender and delicious. Bo Tong’s mouth was full of oil when he ate it, and Lin Fan felt very good eating it.

But just when the two of them were enjoying their meal, an uninvited guest quietly came and touched the entrance of the cave in a sneaky way.
