I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2085: 24.346 Sixth Violet Star - It’s hard to kill a God.

The fierce battle happening in the ancient forest was felt even by the people from the borders. The loud explosions, the destruction and clashes between the gods can be felt even from this faraway. Watching on the walls were the two commanders of the borderland, Mo Minkong and Lord Huzi. Beside them were the two systems, Zhi Yang and Zhi Yue as well as Long Juedi and Haerin.

Beast God Mo Minkong said, ”Mom and Dad arrived on time. Vega and Heri should be safe now.”

Sigh!

”I didn’t expect that human marshal to be that powerful! Vega had already self-destructed more than twice but he still failed to drag that man to death!” The Ninetailed Fox beastmen, Lord Huzi said.

Zhi Yue said, ”This elf called Vega is not bad. Even though he can be resurrected through the blessing of the Lord... Prince Hei! It didn’t mean that he couldn’t feel the pain.”

”He knew that if he failed his mate would die. For the sake of your loved one everything can be sacrificed even your own. Don’t you see how pale his face is. Not just everyone can willingly accept death and the pain it gives, unless you are determined for one thing and forget this pain given to you,” said Zhi Yang.

The two children who didn’t know about the blessing of immortality from the God of Destruction were shocked with what they had heard. To hear that the Lord Guardian, Vega, had self-destructed and experienced death more than twice only to be revived again had left them speechless. Is this something a mortal like them can do? How can such a powerful blessing be possessed by Lord Vega?

Confused. Haerin asked, ”U-Uncles... What... What are you talking about? My Father died? He got revived? What is happening?”

”What is this blessing you guys are talking about? Is it from Hei-ge?” Long Juedi asked. In his mind, if there is something so mysteriously powerful, it can only be the two elder brothers of Haerin, Prince Hei and Prince Ye.

It was only then did the adults realize that the young couple didn’t know about the secret of the royal family of the Beastmen race. Haerin might be a princess, but because she is this world’s beloved daughter, the blessing given to her by the God of Destruction is different from the others. What she has isn’t the blessing of Immortality but a wisp of soul of the Eternal Ice making sure that she will never need to die even if the world plot wants her to die. The Beast God and Lord Huzi didn’t know how to explain the situation to Haerin as they were also unsure what their sons had given to her which was said to be different from theirs. In the end, they can only explain their side first and think how to inform Haerin about the difference of blessings they got.

”Xiao Rin, actually the royal family of the beastmen race, had received the Blessing of immortality from your elder brother, Xiao Jing,” said Lord Huzi.

Beast God Mo Minkong said, ”Actually, it wasn’t only us but everyone in our beastmen race got this blessing. The only difference between the royal family and ordinary beastmen is that our blessing can be controlled and we can return to life as we willed it. As for ordinary beastmen, they need our blood to call back their soul for resurrection. This is what your father, Vega, and his warriors utilized to cause harm to the marshal.”

”Resurrection!” Long Juedi and Haerin exclaimed.

Though they already heard about Prince Hei Anjing’s capabilities to revive the dead, no one told them that he can make people who received his blessing gain immortal bodies. They thought that it would be great if they could also have that blessing.

Haerin thought of something and asked, ”Father and Dad have this blessing, does that mean me as well?”

Zhi Yue said, ”That is impossible! Death comes with unbearable pain. Your brothers dotes on you so much why would they even allow you to die?”

”No. Yours is different. The blessing the Prince had given you is not immortality. It’s the protection that will not allow you to die no matter what you do,” said Zhi Yang.

System Yang pointed to Haerin’s heart and said, ”With his protection, even if the world ends, you will never die at all.”

Everyone else was dumbfounded. They knew that the two princes of the beastmen race liked their younger sister the most. But who would have thought they would leave her something that will never let her die no matter what she does. Just because they are afraid of Haerin suffering from pain, they didn’t give her the blessing of immortality. They just made it so she wouldn’t get hurt nor would she die no matter what.

Long Juedi was dumbfounded. His thoughts had gone awry.

’Did her brothers know that she had died under his hands as she fell under the control of Pei Jin in their last life so this time they had given her something to not only prevent this tragedy but also to keep her protected even if he failed his mission!?’

Haerin and Long Juedi looked at each other. They didn’t expect that the thing they were worrying about the most would be easily resolved like this by Haerin’s brothers. Isn’t that too awesome? Why would they even fear Pei Jin if he could never control Haerin to kill Long Juedi? Haerin is Long Juedi’s sole weakness and this weakness is now impenetrable. Doesn’t that mean this mission is destined to be won by them even before the ending arrives.

Lord Huzi commented upon hearing what the two systems had said, ”Indeed. Those two sons of mine like this little sister the most, why would they allow her to feel pain even if this would allow her to get revived.”

”It seems we had underestimated our son’s pampering towards their little sister. This is indeed a surprise,” said the beast god Mo Minkong.

Haerin blushed yet extremely happy at heart. This is her brothers’ love for her their sister. It was like this when they were young and even after she grew up, their protection towards her never disappeared.

”Uncles, please don’t tease me anymore.”

Beast God Mo Minkong and others laughed at her reaction and suddenly noticed that the spirit realm door had once again descended. The Spirit God, Thorn, descended in the mortal realm. He and his elementals had actually retreated to the spirit realm as their main task was to keep the weak, women and children safe from this battle. Now that they have returned. It means that their task is complete.

The God of all spirits, Thorn checked on the Lord Guardian and Lord Prophet. He said, {Good. You are still alive. Where is the bastard?}

”Behind you. Our parents had also descended but they couldn’t completely overwhelm the marshal. Please help them,” The Lord Prophet said.

Spirit God Thorn turned his head and noticed the battle of gods not far from them. He summoned all the elemental emperors.

{All Elemental Emperors stay here and protect them. I will enter the battle myself!} said the God of Spirit, Thorn.

With his presence all the plants in the forest regardless if they are dead or not fall under his control. It transformed into a sea of black thorn vines and black roses making the whole battlefield under his control. He disappeared on the spot joining the battle of gods from the horizon.

Marshal Gu Ying despite clashing with the Tiger God and the Ninetailed Fox Goddess, he still has an upper hand. After all, his divinity is beyond the rules of this world. If not for his vessel dragging him down he would be able to kill these two pests in front of him. Just as the Tiger God sneak attacked on him, he kicked him away trying to kill the Ninetailed Fox Goddess first. Her foresight is annoying as she can help the Tiger god to escape death multiple times annoying him so much!

”Husband!” The Ninetail Fox Goddess called only for her neck to be grabbed by the Marshal Gu Ying who looked so gruesome with a half face turned into a skeleton, his broken limbs barely attached to him.

”Those with the ability to see the future are the most annoying. You remind me of that bastard.” Marshal Gu Ying said.

Then Ninetailed Fox Goddess struggles under his grip but is useless. This monster is a lot stronger than he is.

Covered in murderous intent, the Marshal said, ”I will send you off first!” He stabbed her with his other hand only to be blocked by the Tiger God who appeared in between of them.

”Husband!!?”

Holding the hand of the Marshal stabbing through him, the Tiger God shouted, ”DO IT!”

The next moment two black scythe made from black thorns not only but the arms of the marshal but also tried to cut him. The first attack had freed the divine couple while the other attack was useless as the marshal had protected his body with qi.

Tsk!

”It’s truly hard to kill a god!” Complained the Spirit God as he used the thorn vines to fling away the monster who wears the face of the Marshal of the human race. It seems that that ambush of God Thorn was easily blocked.
