I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1829: 24.90 Sixth Violet Star - Protagonist and Heroine

The marshal covered with a bandage all around his head let the old butler of their clan to listen to his report about the clan. After the second attack from the intruders, they had suffered quite badly at this point that even a few of them had lost their lives. Even the only brother of the marshal ended up in a coma.

Long Tian asked the old butler, ”How is the situation in the clan?”

The marshal saw the old servant hesitated and his expression turned grim as he already had some guesses in his heart about how much the clan had suffered in this invasion. This time the opponent is much more ruthless as he used the lives of his death soldiers as something disposable and directly ordered them to kill themselves.

”Speak. I can bear it,” Long Tian said to the old butler who is still hesitating,

Sigh~

”Young lord, the clan had lost a quarter of our people. There isn’t even a corpse to be sent to their families and more than half of our people were injured. Some of them lost their limbs in the process and can no longer go to the front line.”

”Also half of the territory was destroyed by the explosion and a lot of people wanted to quit to leave the palace. Also no one was caught from the other side and most of them died dragging people with their deaths.”

”After the compensation is made our treasury will hit the bottom. Please find a way to resolve this please. There is als”

With too many problems suddenly falling onto his head, the marshal felt the wound on his head was again throbbing. It is worse now as he had to resolve a lot of things without the help of his brother. Long Kian’s state is also worrying. If his wound cannot be held, he would suffer badly after this event.

”I will find a way. There is also the Lord Kian. The doctors and Lord Mu’s pills are keeping him alive but... His injuries are worse that they expected. He needs a direct healing to at least resolve the burns,” the Old Butler said.

Long Tian now wanted to faint. He had no other means to heal his brother at this moment and with most of their money gone, he didn’t know if there is someone with a beast who can heal like his son to ease the pain his brother is suffering from.

The old butler seeing the marshal like this can only suggest asking the old marshal and the youngest young master to come back. At least with the old marshal and his connections they can support the Long Clan from their current problems. While the youngest young master, Long Juedi’s support beast can at least treat Lord Kian’s burns.

”Young lord, we can only tell the old master about our situation. As long as they come back soon, there will be no danger of Lord Kian dying from shock when he wakes up with burns all over his body,” The old butler advised. After all, getting half of your body burned is no different from losing half of your life.

They should be thankful that Long Kian is unconscious or his state would make his mood worse and in worse case scenario, make him suicidal. Long Tian thought for a moment and decided to agree to the old butler’s suggestion. Right now, he had no other way than had his father take the lead to save the clan.

”I want to send someone to meet Mu Liao who has gone ahead and inform him what happened to the clan. Thankfully, the intruders are not interested in Uncle Mu or things would go beyond control if he is injured in our place. Also...”

He recalled the former Elf King staying at the Killer Pavilion. If he remembers correctly, elves had a way to borrow from nature and used it as a healing ability to cure wounds. Maybe, Elf King Vega had a way to help them with their predicament.

”Also ask someone to invite the former king of elves over. He might have a way to treat brother at least,” said the current marshal.

As his orders were issued the old butler accepted his task and left the office to find someone who is fast on his feet to do the job. One to be sent to the borders and the other to the Killer Pavilion to invite the former king of elves, Vega, over to the mansion.

”Yes, Young Lord.”

Meanwhile at the Barren Lands...

With the intention of trying the cheat map in the protagonist, Long Juedi’s possession, the usual three had headed to the only orchard in this land. This is a place that is not included in the territories of the Beast Kings, but one of the favorite places of King Kong Beast King. He loves the bananas that grow in this place.

However, since this place is close to the core region no one among the beast kings had occupied it as the Beast God, Mo Minkong forbade them too. However, visiting sometimes was allowed. It just so happens that today, this Beast King came to this place.

Moreover, it was not only him. The three beast kings who were threatened by the God of Destruction had brought the group over to this place as per his request. This land full of fruit trees is unexpectedly crowded today. However, unlike the open visit of Hei Anjing’s group, the team of three led by Long Juedi had to sneak inside using the map as a guide.

”The map says there is a small area of orchard in this location which is not included in the territory owned by the four beast kings,” said Long Juedi.

Long Teng glanced at the map and said to his cousin brother, ”I think you are holding the map upside down.”

”Eh? Really?” Long Juedi checked the map again and noticed that his cousin was telling the truth and felt a bit embarrassed.

However, as the strongest of all three of them, Pavilion Master Xie Yun was the first to notice that there are other presences in this orchard. He immediately grabbed the two brats and hid in the bushes nearby.

He said, ”Don’t move. I feel movements in this area. There are others in this location. Hide for now.”

Long Juedi and Long Teng didn’t move and lay flat on the ground trying to hide. The Master of the Killer Pavilion had sense it was quite right and just a few seconds of waiting they heard footsteps coming over to their side. The tree they are in had ripe peaches on it and they didn’t even noticed it until they smelled a fruity aroma lingering in the area.

”Do you smell something sweet?” Long Teng whispered.

Long Juedi glanced at the nearest tree and saw peaches. He said, ”It’s the peach tree beside us. It indeed looks delicious.”

In the end, Pavilion Master Xie Yun had to watch two children laying on their backs looking up while almost drooling at the fruits above their heads. The footsteps they heard before had gotten closer and this time they even heard a voice of a young girl.

”Blackie, hurry. Hurry! Haerin wants to pick some peaches for daddy, uncles, grandpas and brothers.”

After successfully signing a contract with the beast king, his brother Hei Anjing told her to give them names. Haerin named the Black Jaguar Beast King, Blackie. The Flood Dragon Beast King, Whitey and the Black Turtle Beast King, Qiuqiu, which means round.

In the end, the voice got closer to them as the target of the little girl was to pick some peaches.

”Wow~ this tree is tall. Whitey, grow big I want to pick it myself!” Haerin said.

Under her command, the Flood Dragon Beast King increases his size enough for Haerin to ride on her head and reach the peaches on the trees with her own hand. Who would have thought that while picking some fruits, she would accidentally let a few fall, hitting the face of Long Teng who coincidentally was lying under the tree with Long Juedi and Pavilion Master Xie Yun.

Getting hit from that height falling directly on his nose was enough to cause Long Teng’s nose to bleed. The sudden pain made the boy cry out in pain.

Hiss!

”That hurts!!” Long Teng exclaimed while holding on his nose.

This noise caught the little girl’s attention and even her beast kings who were keen on protecting her didn’t notice these people. They look down only to see two boys and one adult looking at them. Among them, Long Juedi seems to recognize the little girl.

Long Juedi sat up and looked at her. ”Haerin? Haerin, why are you in this land? Did your family get exiled from the Ancient forest to the Barren Land? This place is dangerous. Go back to the main city with us. I will tell grandpa to find a place for you and your family to live. Then you can go back to school with me.”
