I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

1140  17.67 Fourth Violet Star - Life and Death and the Arrival of the Grand Marshal

The black sky was filled with thunderous roars and menacing streaks of light. As lightning struck the countryside and struck the ground many times, mortals on Earth were helpless. Some were fortunate enough to avoid death, while others were killed by the pure brightness of lightning. Even though their vessels and spirits disappeared with that one bolt of light, the latter were burnt alive and converted to ashes.

During the random, there is no specific safe location. It might fall on anyone or nothing at all, whether youʼre jogging in front or at the back. Everything will be determined by chance. With each lightning blow, the Divine Banyan Treeʼs wooden castle sounds fragile. It shattered into bits and burnt to ashes. Every time the terrible light from the skies fell, the country was roasted to black and burnt down.

Lightning hit the Imperial Palaceʼs roof, causing a large portion of it to collapse. A massive hole erupted out of nowhere, terrifying the small children who were sheltering beneath. Dean Frey von Gregory and Adjutant Kir von Giselle did everything they could to preserve the Imperial Palaceʼs standing. They concentrated their divinity on this piece of covering, but it could only protect the Main Palace in the cityʼs center; even the roof was unprotected and was struck down to rubble by the tribulation lightning over their heads.

BOOM. CREAKS. BOOM. BANG.

Dean Frey von Gregory and Adjutant Kir von Giselle both raised their hands in support of the Heavenly Tribulation. Only Cultivators who wish to climb may block this type of punishment. They can hardly stop two purple lightning strikes as they fall to their knees and blood drips from the corners of their lips. As Frey von Gregory and Adjutant Kir von Giselle boost the production of their qi in the barrier, the Barrier flickers, fading with each stroke and blazing gold.

Chaos who stood above the Imperial Palace looked down on them with a mischievous smile on his face and said, ”I wonder how many more strikes can you two block~ Maybe you should abandon the mortalʼs vessel and leave as soon as possible or perish with your soul gone to nothingness.”

The two wardens shared the same sentiments at first, but their mission was to assist the Imperium Star before their Lords arrived. Furthermore, Lord Heiʼs Incarnation considers Jace Green von Imperlian to be a friend. If they donʼt safeguard him properly, the consequences might be even worse than the lightning.

Dean Frey von Gregory said, ”N-No, we cannot leave. One of Lord Yaraʼs friends and family in this universe is behind us. We cannot fall!”

”If I took those guys away will you leave then?” Chaos asked teasingly.

But this one question was enough to render Dean Frey silent. He didnʼt know what to say to this question, ”...”

If he were the previous him, an Exalted God in his own right, he would have chosen this, but as he turned around, he saw the familiar faces of the pupils from the First Military Imperial School he used to own. Seeing their begging eyes full of tears and concern for him and Adjutant Kir von Giselle, he couldnʼt help but think it was a little unjust to let them die in front of their eyes.

”No. Itʼs against my conscience to leave the children to die.” Dean Frey von Gregory said.

Chaos mumbled, ”You are a bit similar to him in this sense.”

”What do you mean? Who is this ʼhimʼ you are talking about?” Dean Frey von Gregory asked. His main point was the ʼhimʼ he mentioned. For some reason, he felt that this Chaos was someone related to them or something.

Knowing that Dean Frey von Gregory is guessing his identity with a few questions, Chaos grinned evilly and said, ”Donʼt guess. I will not tell you~ But Iʼm already so bored, so letʼs end this!”

The dark clouds in the sky darkened, the thunder sounded like booming drums near their ears, and the rest couldnʼt stop themselves from covering their ears as they bled. The light lines within the clouds became brighter, from purple to burning black. Dean Frey von Gregory and Adjutant Kir von Giselle both saw the black lightning strike. It is more strong than the Heavenly Tribulationʼs lightning.

Only in Space Tunnels between planets and the cosmos can you find Void Storm Lightning. It is uncommon, yet most Gods fear it. This Black Lightning, according to the two wardens, Dean Frey von Gregory and Adjutant Kir von Giselle, is capable of killing a star with a single strike. It is a world and space destroyer. It obeyed the rules of annihilation, space, and nothingness.

Adjutant Kir von Giselle darkened and shoved Frey von Gregory behind him into the Imperial Castle, where he was apprehended by Duke Claudius and the other warriors. They also stopped him from flying back to where the Adjutant was.

”No! What are you doing!? Lou Wuye, get the hell back here!? Thatʼs a Void Storm, not a mere Tribulation. You will die for real!!!” Dean Frey von Gregory yelled as he attempted to free himself from the arms that were pinning him down. As he extends out a hand to his sweetheart, tears stream down his cheeks. The crimson rope merely grabbed his belovedʼs ring finger as he witnessed the black Lightning strike Adjutant Kir von Giselle.

”NOOOO!!!”

Adjutant Kir von Giselle turned around at the last second and grinned at Dean Frey von Gregory. The black lightning struck Kir von Giselle straight in front of everyoneʼs eyes. As the golden barrier around the Palace cracked, he deflected the lightning with his body. The blackness in the sky continues to roar, but Adjutant Kir von Giselleʼs form has vanished.

The spectacle of Adjutant Kir von Giselle turning to nothing left no one or even ashes behind as if he had been obliterated utterly left everyone breathless. Chaos became expressionless for some reason in this scenario, while Dean Frey von Gregory eventually struggled free of the mob and hurried out to search for any evidence of his sweetheart on the other end of the red rope. He disregarded the fact that he stumbled several times and focused solely on the other end of the red string.

He shivers and grabs for the other end of his scarlet string. Only one finger remains, which was shielded by his remaining fate energy and connected the manʼs fate to him. It was analogous to the award from the Marriage Trial. But, as a result of this decision, he will no longer be able to return as the God of Fate in the future, as he gave up all to save this one manʼs soul.

His tears streamed down his cheeks as he held the small finger he could use to regenerate Adjutant Kir. He was so thrilled that he was sobbing and smiling at the same time. Meanwhile, Chaos, seeing that he couldnʼt entirely eliminate that manʼs subordinate, caused him to lose his pleasant mood. He now stares down at Dean Frey, who is embracing that thread of soul left behind by that manʼs subordinate.

Chaos spoke, his voice this time is colder and full of anger, ”Do you not see me? Do you think I am blind?”

He lifted his hand once more, attempting to direct the Heavenly Lightning to hit the God in the mortalʼs vessel. He appears to be able to use the Void Storm Lightning just once on this planet. After all, this is only a middle-class world. Dean Frey von Gregory sensed his fury and defended the thread of soul his beloved possessed, even curling down on the ground, oblivious to his position as a God. All he can do is concentrate on preserving the strand of soul that his beloved left behind.

But before he could lower his hand, a chilly and ominous voice resonated throughout the star, followed by the roar of a massive dragon.

”Donʼt you think you have done enough?”

ROOOOAR~ The Heavenly Tribulation above the Imperial Palace was consumed by a Black Dragon that dropped from the skies. It merely had to open its mouth to suck in all the dark clouds till the sky was clean of them. The light dropped from the skies once more and settled on the guy dressed in military uniform while floating in front of the Imperial Palace and above Dean Frey von Gregory.

The Grand Marshal and his Quantum Beast, the Black Dragon King, Roi had arrived. Not far from them a black spaceship also descended near the Imperial Palace, General Nimbus von Gretel and Lieutenant General Zephyr von Gretel climbed down the Spaceship.

”We have returned! Your Majesty, Everyone is at ease.” General Nimbus von Gretel said.

Everyone who expected to perish following Adjutant Kir von Giselleʼs sacrifice did not expect their Grand Marshal to return after what they had done to him. Their emotions were filled with sorrow and shame, and tears from the pleasure of surviving caused them to fall together, regardless of their rank.

His Majesty, Cale Meijer von Imperlian, trembled as he clutched the hands of General Nimbus von Gretel and Lieutenant General Zephyr von Gretel. The fear of death overpowers them, especially after trying all possible but still failing to survive the mysterious monster in the sky.

Cale Meijer von Imperlian said, ”Thank you. thank you for coming back!”

”Letʼs not waste time. Please move the survivors to the spaceship. The spaceship is safetier than the Imperial Palace,” Zephyr von Gretel suggested.

”Where are your brothers?” Lieutenant General Zephyr von Gretel asked.

Two more handsome men appeared behind Claudius von Gretel. They look a bit younger than Claudius and they were siblings.

”Good. You are all here. We got permission from His Majesty the Butterfly Emperor about immigration. Prepare to leave the Imperium Star. This star is no longer livable.” General Nimbus von Gretel said. ”Your Majesty, please...”

After instructing the survivors to board the spaceship, General Nimbus von Gretel and Lieutenant General Zephyr von Gretel wished to transport the survivors to a secure location first, but the spaceship refused to move even when the controls were engaged.

Frowning, General Nimbus questioned, ”What is happening?”

”General! The spaceship had been frozen under and was unable to fly!” A soldier who checked through the cameras of the ship answered.

General Nimbus von Gretel said, ”Who did it?”

”Maybe... That masked man in the sky did.” Claudius von Gretel said.

When General Nimbus von Gretel glanced up, he met Chaosʼs frigid eyes, which ignored the fact that their gazes had met. But just by looking at him, they know they wonʼt be able to flee unless the Grand Marshal defeats him.

Lieutenant General Zephyr von Gretel said, ”It seems that we can leave. Tell everyone to stay in the Spaceship. Donʼt get out without permission!”

Meanwhile, the Grand Marshal noticed a faint trace of his subordinates inside Dean Frey von Gregoryʼs grip from above. He realized what had happened when he saw Warden Yunʼs bloodshot eyes filled with sadness. Despite his lack of sympathy for him, he thinks he cannot abandon this man in his current situation. He would be accused of bullying his subordinate if his wife saw this.

The Grand Marshal spoke, ”Donʼt despair. Lou is still alive. He signed a life-and-death contract with me. His life is connected to mine, he wouldnʼt disappear as long as I exist.”

Dean Frey von Gregory saw a little space ripple develop in front of him with a wave of his hand, the space in front of him shattered, and a hand stretched out to wipe his tears. A figure in a black robe wearing pure black armor and his head covered behind a helmet emerged from the vacuum. Warden Lou in his original Nether System appearance. Dean Frey von Gregory was shocked when the other end of his crimson string vanished from his hug and emerged on the armored manʼs right ring finger.

Warden Lou whispered, ”Donʼt cry, Xiao Ming. Iʼm still alive.”

”Wuye! Wuwuwu~, please donʼt do that again!”

”Okay, I promise I wonʼt.”

When he heard his masterʼs familiar voice, the tears that had stopped in his surprise began to pour again, and he clutched the manʼs neck while crying loudly so that everyone could hear. Everyone couldnʼt figure out why Adjutant Kir von Giselle, who had died right in front of their eyes, was still alive. They realized these four menʼs identities werenʼt easy just because he emerged from that strange spatial distortion.

One is a Grand Marshal who is supposed to die from Mania but instead becomes stronger than predicted. The two warriors who follow him: one is an Adjutant who died in front of their eyes but resurrected unhurt and in a completely altered figure. The Dean of the First Military Imperial School and a top-tier Mediator capable of wielding strange talents such as the golden barrier that shielded them and the red thread capable of confining and killing Royal-ranked Zergs.

Finally, there is an adversary whose face cannot be seen but who wields immense power that commands even the sky. Even if they didnʼt know their true identities, the horrors they had witnessed were proof enough that these four guys were no longer mortals like themselves. Instead, Gods descended from somewhere else.
