I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 717

Chapter 766: 14.42 Last Violet Star – (White Frozen Water Sect) Bai Lengshui Sect

Hei Anjing keeps dreaming while in slumber. As if living for that moment, Hei Anjing opened his eyes and heard someone calling his courtesy name intimately.

“An’er? An’er? An’er, are you alright?” a gentle older male’s voice asked.

A stern yet pampering voice of a lady was heard next, “An’er Darling, are you really alright? If you are not feeling well Mother will summon the doctors.”

When Hei Anjing opened his eyes, the scene four pairs of aquamarine eyes were staring at him with worry. There are two ladies. One looks like a mature madam wearing a light blue robe with light make. Her hair is braided up on her head with a few ice lotus hair pieces attached to her braids. Sitting beside her is a gentle-looking handsome uncle. His features were soft and currently looks at him with worry the same as the madam beside him. They must be an old couple.

Seated to his left is a young lady who looks a younger version of the gorgeous madam he had seen when he opened his eyes. This young lady calls his dear brother.

The young lady had a similar appearance as the madam but she didn’t inherit her sharp features which made her look strict inside, she inherited her father’s gentle features making her look like a soft and friendly young lady.

“Dear elder brother, are you okay? It is like you’re dazed.”

.....

“Brother, are you sleepy? You keep reading those endless scrolls in the library. You should take a nap sometimes too!” said the young man on his right.

This young man is handsome and looks exactly like the old gentleman that seems to be his father. But he inherited his mother’s sharp features making him look a bit grumpy and cold-faced. Hei Anjing immediately recognized who this young man in a blue robe was. He had met him at the Li Weifeng Sect’s Territory when they came over to his temporary courtyard uninvited. This young man is the younger version of Bai Qiyin.

Hei Anjing was about to speak when his mouth moved on its own. He was in a body hut unfortunately the control over it wasn’t under him. He can only watch himself speak on his own.

“I’m fine, Mother, Father, Xiao Lili, and Qiqi. Might be a bit tired. I shall take a short rest after the meal.”

That was what the vessel he is in now said, after seeing these people and recalling a few memories he got from that white space, Hei Anjing realized that this must be a part of his missing memories of his previous life. His life as Bai Anjing, whose courtesy name was Bai Wuan, and the eldest disciple of the (White Frozen Water Sect) Bai Lengshui Sect.

This is a scene from an event more than ten years ago in the past. At this time, the current Sect Master wasn’t Bai Qiyin yet but instead his foster father Bai Yuyan.

Sect Master Bai Yuyan said with his usual gentle smile.

“You should take the rest of the day, An’er. My mother and I aren’t too busy today. We can do the work our sect has piled up.”

“An’er, your father is right. Because mother had to enter seclusion with your father all of the sudden that we’ve left the sect affairs to you children. Now that we come out we shall resume our duties. Rest well, An’er,” said Madam Bai with a small smile on the corner of her lips making her usual cold aura fade softly.

Unlike Yun Huaxia’s almost permanent soft and friendly smile, Bai Yuyan’s face is natural. His nature is kind and serious. While Madam Bai is well known as the Ice Queen of their sect because she only smiles in front of her husband and children.

Bai Wuan says, “It’s okay. It’s not that much work anyway.”

“How could you say it’s not much? Those towering piles of paper scrolls almost buried brother countless times at night,” murmured the young Bai Qiyin.

Bewildered Bai Lili said, “Isn’t that because Yin-gege keeps playing with it when you are bored that it toppled multiple times? Yin-gege wasn’t even helping Dear Elder brother do the job and you are always asleep all the time.”

“H-Hey! You talk too much!” said young master Bai

The Young Bai Qiyin panicked for a moment and tried to cover his younger sister’s mouth. Unfortunately, she seats directly opposite where he is and there is a table of food separating the two of them.

“Qiqi, how many times did Mom tell you to learn from your elder brother? You are the next Sect Master of the (White Frozen Water Sect) Bai Lengshui Sect. You can grow up uneducated about the affairs of our clan’s affairs!”

Madam Bai lost her smile at this moment. The heir of their Sect is Bai Qiyin. Even if Bai Wuan is the eldest disciple and he is an adopted son, he cannot become the Sect Master of the (White Frozen Water Sect) Bai Lengshui Sect. But it was Bai Wuan who helped Bai Qiyin fully awaken his special constitution.

Bai Qiyin who was born with the Nine Yin Meridians Physique was about to die of coldness. This is a rare constitution that is only found in female babies of the Bai Bloodline. If a girl was born with it, they would be able to control ice elements as easily as breathing and their cultivation journey would be smoother and unhindered than the others.

But if a boy was born with it, they can only wait to die. Males were born with yangs. They can never be affiliated with Yin. Moreover, only Gods and Goddesses from the Upper Realm had ways to put the Yin qi in their bodies under control but even that is hard to achieve. Bai Qiyin was extremely lucky because he met Bai Wuan who is an immortal and a possessor of a Yin Physique like his. So he had a technique that can convert his yang to the yin and allowed his vessel to store Yin qi. Though the male who possesses a Yin Physique would be born with weaker bodies they are undefeated in water and ice fields.

Bai Qiyin pouted and said, “Why can’t Brother inherit it instead? He is so talented and still chooses me instead.”

“That’s impossible. Brother is lazy. That was an emergency so I took over. I wanted to leave it to you but you always go out for outside missions that I had to do your job for you. Now this is good timing, you can finish the rest of the paperwork and brother will take a nap,” said Bai Wuan with an evil smile on his beautiful face.

Sect Master Bai nods his head in agreement, “That’s a good suggestion. Qi’er does the rest of your brother’s job.”

“Don’t worry Yin-gege, Lili will help too!” said Bai Lili.

Madam Bai happily said, “Then Mom will supervise your work.”

The young Bai Qiyin felt like he had fallen into a nightmare seeing his parents’ and sister’s smiles. He grabbed his brother’s sleeves wanting to ask for help.

“B-Brother, save me~”

“Nope. Don’t forget to continue your sword training after your duties are okay~” said Hei Anjing with an evil smile.

With tears gathering in the corner of his eyes, Bai Qiyin grabbed his hair and screamed, “NOooo~!!!”

“Well~ save the joke aside. An’er can you bring your siblings with you to the west and join the Clans and Sects exchange this upcoming weekend? This time the sect in schedule is the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect,” said Sect Master Bai.

Bai Wuan spoke, “This disciple doesn’t mind, but... what should be done with the Xie Sect?”

“That Xia Sect had been blowing their horns ever since their Clan Leader reached the Nascent Soul Stage! Did that old man Xie believe that he could prevent everyone from reaching the same stage!?” complains Madam Bai.

Bai Wuan said, “Mother, please calm down.”

Sigh~

“Pardon me.”

Sect Master Bai comforted his wife whose heart was in a rage. The Xie Clan tyranny had started to be out of control ever since their Clan Leader became the current strongest cultivator in their cultivation world. Even the current sect leaders and old ancestors of the following clans only had the strength of the Golden Core Stage. Sect Master Bai and Madam Bai are among those cultivators at Golden Core Stage. With the Sect Leader at the peak stage and the madam at mid-stage. They were quite strong themselves.

What was surprising is that Bai Wuan, as young as he is, is also at the same stage though only at an early step. He is among the youngest generation who have been deemed too talented for their age.𝙛𝓇𝘦e𝙬𝑒𝚋𝒏૦ѵel. c𝒐𝚖

Bai Wuan finished his meal and put down his chopsticks. After wiping his mouth with a clean cloth, he continued to speak about the situation with the Xie Clan.

“While father and mother were in seclusion, this disciple had sent people to scout the Xie Clan. It wasn’t easy and some of them lost contact as they’ve suicide to hide their origins. The most recent information I got from them was something even this child couldn’t believe. I would like to officially report about the rest in the office if possible,” said Bai Wuan.

Sect Master Bai said, “Let’s move into my office then. Are you done with your meals?”

“I’m full, father. There are no worries,” answered Bai Wuan.

Sect Master Bai Yuyan stood up and said, “Follow me into my office then.”

“Yes, Sect Master!” said Bai Wuan.

Only after Bai Yuyan and Bai Wuan had left the dining hall that the other three were able to speak. The atmosphere in the hall turned serious when Bai Wuan mentioned the Xie Clan. The young Bai Qiyin and Bai Lili know about the Xie Clan but not as much as their elder brother knew. But rumors that Clan’s tyranny had been wild spread in the lands of mortals. Almost every big city knows about them.

Madam Bai also wanted to hear what the eldest child wanted to report. She finished her meals ahead of the other children and prepared to leave.

“Qiqi, Lili, go to the library and continue the paper works your brother left behind. Mom will check it before dinner.”

“Eh!?But Mom! Even if Brother finished most of it, there is still a lot left to do... There is no way I and Lili can finish it all before dinner,” said the Young Bai Qiyin.

Madam Bai said, “Of course, mom is not expecting you two to finish it. Just get a part of it done and leave the rest to me. Just don’t be too lazy and leave too much to work on. Your elder brother can’t always be with you. You must at least learn how to stabilize the Sect even if we three are gone. Especially Qiyin, never forget that you are the next in line to your father’s position. Your brother would never sit in that position no matter what happens, you know that, don’t you?”

“Yes. Because the brother does not possess the bloodline as the direct descendant of the (White Frozen Water Sect) Bai Lengshui Sect. He is only an observer of our clan and our current guardian,” responded Bai Qiyin.

Madam Bai smiled and pats her son’s shoulder, “The duty of your brother is to protect you and Lili. As for leading the clan, that is your responsibility as a Bai. This is the position your father, I, and your brother wish for you to inherit. Do your best, Qiqi.”

“I will not disappoint my father, mother, and brother!” said Bai Qiyin.

Madam Bai said, “That’s good. By the way, your father and I had chosen a dao companion candidate for you. Hoho~ this child is very talented. He is as strong as your elder brother but he is a bit older than him. Just a few years though, it shouldn’t matter. You should be able to meet him in the Clans and Sects exchange this weekend. Make sure to greet him properly okay? His birth name is Yun Huaxia and his courtesy name is Yun Huaye. He is the eldest son of the Sect Master Yun from the west. The Eldest Young Lord of the (Blue Fleeting Cloud Sect) Lan Zhuayun Sect. Get along well~”

Only then did Madam Bai leave the dining hall to follow her husband and eldest son into the office leaving Bai Qiyin uncomfortable after being informed of his blind date’s identity.

Bai Qiyin mumbled with a red face and fierce expression, “Why do I get to get involved with blind dates when my brother himself doesn’t even have one!?”

“That’s because... Dear elder brother says he would only consider if there is someone who is the same age as him with the same strength as he does because of this Mom and Dad were having a hard time looking for a candidate for Dao Companion because of this requirement while Yin-gege’s requirement is to have a dao companion which is as strong as Dear elder brother which is much easier to look than what Dear Elder Brother had requested,” said Bai Lili.

“AHhhh~ my head hurts~,” said Bai Qiyin.
