I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 654: 12.56 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: First Case - Epilogue

Somewhere within the capital city.

The executives of the Red Poppy Organization would only meet when they were summoned by Nightshade or when receiving their missions. Aside from that summons they usually had nothing much to do and lived an ordinary life like other people.

At some Presidential suite in some 5 stars hotel. A young man wearing a loose hoodie and shorts had a laptop on his lap. His ten fingers were rapidly moving on the keyboard as if he doesnʼt only have two hands but four instead. Just based on his looks, he seems to be a young man in his teens unknown to others. This young-looking man is a person who is already in his fifties and he is beta like an ordinary person found anywhere.

His light brown hair is currently hidden within his hoodie and his cat-like orange eyes were focusing on the stock exchange market on the screen of his laptop. The sound of him biting the lollipop inside his mouth was very obvious. Clearly, he could see his account losing a large amount of money.

”Argh! Who the hell is it? Stealing Laoziʼs [1]money! How come I canʼt find your information at all!!! Bastard! Donʼt let me catch you or you would be sorry to steal Laoziʼs money!!!” yelled Iris in his own room.

As for everyone in the Red Poppy Syndicated only he had the interest of money. Aside from that, he had nothing he cared about at all. He is desperate for it as if money is the only thing that is important to him. Something in this world which is as important as his life.

Iris laid down on his bed and slowly calmed his nerves. He is so pissed off just now that his overused brain is aching for a bit. Now that he had calmed down he realized a few weird things he never expected would have existed in this world.

Iris murmured, ”Was there a hacker in this country who is stronger than my skills? If not that then... The person who manipulated the whole stock market to end in his hands must be someone special. These kinds of people were either taken by the syndicate or eliminated by them.”

”Normally, this kind of information must be reported to the leader right away but... Lately, the leaderʼs actions were beyond the normal boundaries of dark humanity. I can still accept drugs and human trafficking but... I am not fond of human experimentation. Tsk! Making me remember annoying things. Letʼs sleep it off!” murmured Iris to himself. He didnʼt care if no one was listening or else.

Somewhere in the city...

Lin Jiya who just finished taking over control of his stocks in the stock market was still staring at the black screen on his desktop pc. We were actually playing around with some things in the stock market when he noticed that his account was being hacked.

As soon as a few lines of codes flashed on his screen, he immediately counterattacked. His hacking skills can only be compared to Hei Anjing who is like a God in the technology world as second best but... Compared to the original residents of an S-class world, he who came from Vearth is cut above the rest. He is after all a God in his world and was only playing a character in this world.

But his role-playing was immediately cut off the moment Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie descended into this world. The plot had been long broken before he could be acting the script on him. But at the same time, he wasnʼt allowed to return to the God Systemʼs space as a superior god descended in this world he had entered. He has to wait for those sovereigns to take their leave first before he can go back.

Most of the time Lin Jiya spends more time making money. He is an Amateur God of wealth so to him playing with this worldʼs international stocks is no different than playing puzzles to pass time. It didnʼt even take long for him to take full control of the stock market

Lin Jiya was pressing a few keys on the keyboard and commented about Irisʼs failed counterattack just now.

”This Iris hacker... He has a good foundation when it comes to breaking through firewalls but not enough to defeat me. But to think he would dare to steal my money under my eyes... I wonder who dares do so. Though I canʼt defeat the God of Destruction in the cyber world I wouldnʼt allow others to take the second place from me.”

He started typing a few more codes on the black template and the result was immediately pulled out by him. But for some reason, his system appeared frantic.

[Stop getting involved with the higher Gods and this worldʼs characters! Didnʼt I warn you multiple times!?]

Lin Jiya responded, ”What nonsense!? Which eyes you used saw me getting entangled with anyone about this worldʼs original plot.”

[But you had already gotten involved in it. It wouldnʼt take long for those supreme beings to notice what you did!] his system scolded him badly.

Lin Jiya spoke, ”You want me to watch as someone tries to steal my money? Dream on!”

[Ah! You? If those supreme beings had gotten you involved I wouldnʼt be able to save you at all. We canʼt escape either.]

”Come on! This is a crime omegaverse world. Why would they get concerned with stocks? They should be busy trying to catch criminals,” retorted Lin Jiya.

[Ah! I donʼt care anymore.! Do as you wish!?]

Then his system turned silent as if it was deactivated. His system didnʼt speak to him all day after that.

Meanwhile, back at the condominium owned by Ye Yuyan.

He carried Hei Yuhua until they got home. He gently placed him in the living room and ran off to the bathroom to get something to clean his wifeʼs feet and once again treated his wounds like how the doctor had taught him.

Hei Yuhua wanted to do it on his own, but his husband didnʼt allow him to. Seeing him kneel in front of him while carefully cleaning his feet. The pain from his wounds is much more vivid. He is tolerant of pain but seeing his most important man in the world treat him like a delicate person made him happy and embarrassed.

The two didnʼt talk with each other until Ye Yuyan finished rebandaging his feet.

Ye Yuyan said, ”You are staying at home until your feet are healed.”

”What about the next case? We still need to solve it. I will ask Ying Wu, Lou Wei, and Yun Jie to gather all information. I will accompany you home. Next time, you donʼt need to walk such a long road, especially on a rainy day. Donʼt you know how worried I am to see you hurt like this!?” said Ye Yuyan. One could hear complaints and helplessness in his voice.

Hei Yuhua had to hug him at least to help his mate calm down his emotions. There are too many things happening right now. This case is too weird. Not only is it a serial killing case, but even a forbidden drug was also involved in it.

”Okay. I will not be stubborn next time. I will bring cash with me. I promise not to do it again!” said Hei Yuhua.

Ye Yuyan felt he couldnʼt win against his wife at all and he hugged him and squeezed him in his arms.

”Keep your word this time.”

”Haha~ I will.”

Sigh~

”Let me cook dinner first,” said Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua replied, ”Okay.”

The couple returned to their daily lives and ate an ample dinner before resuming their talk. There are lots of things they need to talk about, particularly about the case and scene of Doctor Shenʼs weird death. By the time they finished eating dinner, Lou Wei and Yun Jie got home. Officer Ying Wu had dropped them off at the entrance of the condominium building before going home himself.

It was System Yue who called them over after they ate dinner. The four of them had gathered in the living room of Ye Yuyanʼs room as if having a meeting.

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan spoke, ”I heard the surviving victim is a woman with a sibling relationship with you, Xiao Jie. How is she right now?”

”Su-Jie had finally felt relieved but she had suffered depression and stress for a long time including her insomnia. The doctor says she needs to stay in the hospital for days,” responded Yun Jie.

Wei Lou said, ”Iʼve asked a few of my people to protect her secret until she leaves the hospital. Well, she should be able to return to her normal life afterward.”

”Thatʼs good. But Yun Jie donʼt frequently visit her or others might take it as if she is your weakness,” said Hei Yuhua

Yun Jie said, ”Iʼve also explained that to her. That I would only be able to visit her until she gets pregnant.”

”She would be placed under the Protection case. She would have to change her name and live somewhere far away until we caught the Red Poppy Organization. Iʼm sorry, Xiao Jie,” said Ye Yuyan.

Yun Jie spoke, ”I know. I understand, Brother Ye. Donʼt blame yourself for this. It was my fault for telling her about my involvement with Aster.”

”Donʼt worry, Jieʼer. I will send the best men to protect her in silence. She would be safe and be able to live her life normally. Then after everything has ended we can visit her openly much more often,” said Wei Lou.

A smile appeared on Yun Jieʼs face and said, ”Then I will leave it to you, Brother Wei.”

Ye Yuyan asked, ”Did you guys stay at the scene of the crime after we left? Is there something else that was left behind?”

”We left as soon as you did but I heard from the after reports that they had found the dead body of the husbandʼs victim in the bathtub of the restroom. His heart was stabbed through. The autopsy said it was instant death. Anyway, that Doctor Shen is weird. He is only supposed to be an ordinary alpha with at least a C-grade physique. But during the confrontation with me, he was able to overwhelm me with strength and speed. If not for my sister-in-law coming on time I would have lost my neck by then,” said Wei Lou as he unconsciously touched his neck as if he felt chills on it.

Yun Jie spoke, ”Maybe he had taken another drug before or after the murder of his last female victim. Or else he shouldnʼt have been able to escape from his brother. Didnʼt you say that he was able to avoid a fatal blow from my brother?”

”He did. He suddenly turned his head and avoided the tip of the umbrella. But based on his movements it seems his brain moves faster than his body. His head avoided the attack but his body wasnʼt able to escape on time. Plus, he had used the Berserk Concoction in the end. Those medicines cannot be found even on the Black market. There should no longer be any supply in any route as Iʼve personally destroyed the laboratory that was making it. Burning everything in the fire.” said Hei Yuhua.

With a frown and worried expression on his face, Ye Yuyan spoke, ”Why have you never told me about this, Yuʼer?”

”I was not hiding it intentionally. This is just one of the cases Iʼve handled as a mission as I work as an undercover agent for Aster,” said Hei Yuhua.

Ye Yuyan asked, ”Is that why you recognized that concoction? Donʼt tell me... Yuʼer, have you been injected with that same drug before!?”

At this question, Wei Lou and Yun Jie were stunned. Why didnʼt they think of such a situation after knowing that Hei Yuhua recognized that forbidden drug? Thatʼs right? Why would he suddenly panic when he saw what Doctor Shen had injected into himself that time. As if he already knew the effects of the drug thatʼs why he reacted quite strongly about it when Doctor Shen had used it.

This is because Hei Yuhua knew the extreme effects of those forbidden drugs himself. But the only bewildering thing is that if he indeed got injected with that drug before then how can he still be alive. They had witnessed the gruesome scene of Doctor Shen drying up leaving only a human-shaped skin as his insides including his bones and organs melted into a puddle of blood. They could only shut their mouths and waited for Ye Yuyan to ask Hei Yuhua. If there is someone who is more worried about Hei Yuhua it can only be his mate.

As expected, Ye Yuyan asked his wife straightforwardly, ”Yuʼer answer me, please. Did you get injected with that forbidden drug before!?”

There is a tense and deafening silence inside the house after Ye Yuyan asked such a question. Everyone stared at Hei Yuhuaʼs face which had suddenly turned apathetic and emotionless. Only a single word was given as an answer to this question.

Hei Yuhua answered, ”Yes.”
