I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 487: 11.13 First Green Star Haunted Asylum (2)

On the other hand in the other parts of the said haunted hospital. Along a quiet and eerie empty hallway, a staggering brunette man wearing gold-rimmed glasses was leaning on the white walls of the hospital. This man is other than the Protagonist Shou of the world, An Yuan. A genius professor who had lost his sight upon his entrance into the Abyssal World.

At this moment he is trying to adjust to his sudden blindness and fell multiple times on the cold floor of the asylum as he woke up in darkness.

An Yuan could feel pain on his knees. Touching it once and placing his hand too near he would be able to check whether there is a scent of blood thankfully there is.

”It might be bruised instead. Sigh~ where I am? Arenʼt we supposed to be on the way to the competition and then... Argh~” his head felt a throbbing pain as the memories of his last moment before he died all surged in his brain. It took a while before he calmed down. His breathing was already rugged and he was slightly panting. ”Thatʼs right. Weʼve... died? Then where is this? So dark. Am I blindfolded but it seems not. Am I blind?”

Suddenly he heard a robotic sound in his brain and a few images appeared in his head. There is a small holographic screen that suddenly sprouted within his mind and he could read it without his eyes.

This is an infinite world of horrors. As long as the Player had reached the leaderboard Top 100 you would be able to buy your time. Gold coins awarded in each movie can be used to buy your time. This bought time would allow you to not only return to your real world you would also be able to continue buying your time to extend your life endlessly.

In short, players can become immortals as long as you have the gold coin currency in Abyssal World. In our world, anything can be exchanged with gold coins. You can buy life, a talent, extend your time which is your lifespan, senses like sight, etc. Everything in Abyssal World had a price as long as the player could afford it then... You can get anything you wish for.]

An Yuan slowly calms down. He felt the cooled wall with his palm and leaned his back on it. Since he could not see he chose to just close his eyes which is dull in reality. He slowly digested the information the robotic voice had just told him.

”Death. Abyssal world. Gold Coins. Movies. Anything can be exchanged with Gold coins.”

This blind man started mumbling incomplete sentences and a few words in between his breathing. His fast heartbeat slowly gets control as his mind starts processing his current situation.

An Yuan asked an important question, ”Who are you to me?”

[Ping! I am your designated manager. The name is Gui from the word Mogui which means a devil. My little avatar is a cute and chubby devil but unfortunately, my player is blind you cannot see Gui Guiʼs adorable appearance]

A small black ball with a devilʼs wing, horn, and tail was hovering around Professor An Yuanʼs head. The little creature looks like a toy, so cute and squishy. Sadly his own player is blind and couldnʼt admire his cuteness.

[Gui Guiʼs role is to guide you, my player. I will explain the plot of each movie you will enter. Listed out your main and side missions. But I wouldnʼt be able to directly help or save you unless you exchange points.]

An Yuan said, ”I see. What about my current situation? Where am I? And is there a starter gift pack or something?”

[Hm~ My player is so calm. Are you not afraid?]

”I am already dead. Except for my current defect of being blind, I can still hear and feel the rest. My body seems to be intact at the moment. Since it is like this itʼs better to complete the task at hand first.” replied Professor An Yuan. His answer was reasonable yet so collected. It does seem that he truly did not fear death.”So can Gui Gui explain where I am now?”

[Kekeke~ It seems I had been bound to an interesting player. I just wonder how long you will be able to survive in this kind of world.

Player An Yuan, you are current inside a Movie called ʼGonjiam: Haunted Asylumʼ

Movie plot:

In 1979, 42 patients at Gonjiam Psychiatric Hospital killed themselves and the hospital director went missing. Rumors and strange stories about the now abandoned Gonjiam Mental Hospital abound. An internet broadcaster and 6 other people decide to enter the abandoned hospital to experience unbridled fear. They begin to stream live video from inside the hospital.

Player An Yuanʼs role is to role-play one of the actors in the original movie. One of the three male live streamers who entered the asylum to do a ghost-hunting documentary with your friends.

There are 6 players in this movie. Three of each, females and males.]

An Yuan asked, ”What are my main and side missions as well as the rewards? Do I get a starter gift?”

[Main Mission: Meet the Boss NPC, take a video, and survive once.

Rewards: 3000 gold coins and one skill card

Side mission and rewards.

10 gold coins per one kill of the following: (Monster, ghost, or any inhuman entity)

100 gold per one kill (Player)

1000 gold - killing the Movieʼs Boss NPC.

Note:

One can leave the movie as long the main mission is completed or the Movie ended.

The movie would end when all players died or only one player remained.

The movie would end once the Boss NPC is killed.]

”This... the game is quite hardcore. To think you allow killing.”

[This is normal here. By the way, if you die you will fall into hell and suffer there until you have undergone all 18 levels. If you survive then you are welcome to come back.

There is also the Playerʼs starter pack. 50 gold coins. Iʼve opened the store for Player An Yuan to browse for himself. Control it with your thoughts please.]

Professor An Yuan said, ”Thanks, Gui Gui.”

[There will be danger inside the movie anytime. I will give warning announcements but browse faster, this hospital is very dangerous for new players. It was a surprise that a new playerʼs movie was made in this deadly location.

The sense of sight is quite expensive. It cost 10,000 points. Do your best, my player!]

Professor An Yuan nods his head while browsing through the Abyss Store. He only has 50 gold coins at the moment and filtered everything he could buy with those points.

On the other hand, some players arenʼt as lucky as the two were. Professor Han Ya had woken up in the hospital basement and met the movieʼs Boss NPC as he tried to leave the area. He is now lifeless with a bit of life within his eyes, a thick black hair dragging him around. He is one way to death as he saw the NPC Boss opening her mouth to eat him when it suddenly halted its movement.

SHRIEKS~

It suddenly screamed as if it saw something extremely frightening and ran away leaving him her food behind. The pain from sudden falling on the ground with his broken limbs made him groan. Then before he could react to what was happening around him he heard the sounds of hoofs coming over.

In his mind he is shocked, why would there be a horse carriage in a hospital basement. His manager had long abandoned him after he was defeated by the NPC Boss. Before Han Yu could understand what was happening he saw a black mist covering all over the basement and the whole area changed from the original basement to a road of unknown origins.

There is an ancient-looking huge carriage being pulled by four sturdy black horses; the carriage is also protected by two generals riding on a horse awaiting in the side. One is the strongest undead general and the other is the Executioner, they both serve the Evil God, Yan Lou.

The carriage halted when they saw Han Ya at the road. Chu Mo, the executioner was looking at the hospital and felt an extremely cold and familiar aura.

The thoughts of Chu Mo. This is Chu Mo whose vessel was overtaken by Warden LouʼThis aura is obviously the presence of Lord Hei. He was already wondering why the Evil God suddenly says he doesnʼt feel well and wants to go to the hospital. Is it because he felt his wifeʼs aura in this place and wanted to see him. Even with the Lord God currently merging his soul fragments, he would still have time to look for his wife.ʼ

An apathetic voice was heard coming from the carriage even though his tone is cold and detached one couldnʼt help but feel the anticipation and impatience from his voice.

”Why did you stop this Deityʼs carriage? Are we in the hospital already?” asked the Evil God riding in the carriage pulled by four big horses.

Chu Mo, who was floating at the side covered in a long black cloak covering his whole body including his head and face on his right hand he held a huge scythe he used as his weapon to reap lives. He bowed his head and answered the deity.

”There is a human... A player who is dying on the road, my lord,” said Chu Mo.

”Undead knight, clean up all the players.” ordered the Evil God.

The undead general spoke, ”As you command, Milord!”

”Ah, if you found a human with phoenix-shaped eyes and silver irises, bring him to me. Do not harm him. If you leave any wounds or scratches I will end you.” said the Evil God.

The undead knight didnʼt speak but he halted his actions before bowing his head in sign that he accepted the commands.

”Go now.”

The sound of horses made it seem they understood their ownerʼs command. The undead general had grabbed the half-dead Han Ya and watched the carriage and his colleague left him alone with the human player.

After watching the carriage disappear within their line of sight the scenery around them had faded like an illusion. They were once again back in the hospitalʼs basement.

The sound of Han Yaʼs short breath panting can be heard in the area. The entity is wearing black armor all over his body and even his face is covered. He tries to look up when he hears the sound of metal moving and sees the weird entity removing his helmet only to be shocked with what he had seen.

Han Yu saw his own face on this undead general. Without expression on his face, he saw his own appearance looking down on him. Those pure black eyes look inhuman and the black mist surrounding this weird entity has copied even the current clothes he is wearing.

His breathing turned haggard at this sight as if he knew what this undead creature was planning to do. He wanted to take his place as a player using his own appearance and identity.

Han Yu spoke with broken words, ”No. Noi...! I whonʼt alklow yhou! He ish hkere... I wkill not lhet yiou khill him!”

With an unknown strength, Han Yu tried his best to crawl away but the speed was so slow that the undead general had to take slow steps to follow him. He looks so pitiful yet for a Boss Character like the general he looks at Han Ya like a bug.

”Sigh~ stop wasting my time. The Lord gave the orders.” said the undead knight as he grabbed Han Ya by his hair.

The black mist surrounding the undead knight slowly covers Han Ya and the latter can only scream in agony as the black mist has eaten him alive.

As soon as the black mist faded only the figure of Han Yu was left. The fake and white appearance of the undead knight from before had now become rosy after eating Han Yaʼs soul.

He took over whatever Han Ya possessed. His memories, his body, his feelings, and even his real life itself. For someone who had been living as a dead person for unknown long years, the sudden beating of his heart took him by surprise. Grabbing his clothes above his chest the former undead general left what is it to be alive once again.

Within his mind and heart, the only thing left is Han Yaʼs obsession. He yearns for the love of Professor An Yuan.

”AʼYuan?” murmured the undead general.
