I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 352: 8.77 First Blue Star - Nightmarish Memories II

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

A scream comes out of Ye Xiajieʼs mouth. No one else could hear it as the inside of the dome is isolated and no one could control it except for the owner himself. Countless memories which worthy two lifetimes flashes within his mind.

The sweet moments, sad scenes, and things he could only regret after seeing all flow in his mind like a movie. The worst of it, every memory that he is receiving has already happened.

Ye Xiajie murmured, ”What the hell is this!? My wife died? Died twice in the last world!!!?”

His wifeʼs first death is already too much to bear and the second death is even worse.

After that, the memories of his current vessel also flashes in his head. Most of his memories in this world are cuddly and sweet until he had seen what happened that night when he left a permanent mark on his lover.

Though what happened that night was sensual as his lover did it to save him, the process is still painful for Feng Jing. If it was without his wifeʼs consent it would be nothing but rape...

He could still see his soul fragmentʼs decision. His arrogance and confidence towards his strength. As a hero revered by the whole Empire, he understands where this all came from but asking Zhi Yue not to inform his wife is indeed a bad move after all his wifeʼs most important thing in this world is only him.

No wonder his wife is not willing to forgive Altair Sirius... not willing to forgive me.

Ye Xiajie looks at the sleeping precious figure within his embrace. He checked his vessel just now when he was healing him. His cultivation had been downgraded to a mere Godking but that itself is not stable enough. He knew his wifeʼs ability to control the blood element but unlike the Ice element that left no backlash on him thanks to his bloodline, the blood element still had opposing effects on his soul. Since blood is one of the main sources of life, yang, contrasting to the ice element which is ying.

Ye Xiajie hugs Hei Anjinhmg tightly in his embrace while whispering, ”Iʼm here now. There is no need for you to work hard. I will do all the work this time. Sleep well, baby~”

He kissed his wifeʼs lips and then his forehead. After carrying his wife securely in his arms. He broke the dome of darkness and looked at the dark clouds above him. He controlled the darkness which was completely under his control.

Marshal Sirius murmured, ”Darkness, eat the Heavenly Laws.”

Rumbles.  cracks. Rumbles.

Under his command, all the shadows including the night had followed his words. Everyone had witnessed a mystifying scene before them. They watch as the night eats the clouds and the moon. Total darkness within Planet Citlali took place but only for a split second. Before everything had resumed to normal state.

Stunned by the following events everyone stared at the source of that darkness. Only an emotionless yet murderous Altair Sirius stood at the center carefully carrying his wife in his embrace. His devoid eyes only show ripples of emotion when looking at Feng Jing, as he becomes human again coming out of his persona as an otherworldly being.

When the marshal is not looking at Feng Jing the aura around him feels suffocating. The thickness of his bloodlust and killing intent deprive the others of their breathing. In the miraculous scene of total darkness just now, they clearly feel that the culprit for it is none other than the Marshal.

Zhi Yue urgently pays his respect to his Lord God. Even if he could scold or shout at the soul fragment of his lord, it is close to impossible to do the same thing to this person. He is like the former host who only has his Lord in his eyes.

The Lord God that he knows is ruthless and merciless and only softens before Lord Hei. An extremely dominant existence that could rival the Ruler Gods himself.

Zhi Yue fell on one of his knees and lowered his head. He couldnʼt raise his head to meet the eyes of his lord. He had clearly blamed his soul fragment just now and is currently regretting that he didnʼt hold back his tongue well enough.

”G-Greeting to the Lord God,” said Zhi Yue.

He had forgotten that he shouldnʼt be here and that he could not call the Marshal, Lord God openly.

A tone akin to zero degrees temperature was heard lingering in Zhi Yueʼs ears. ”Watch your mouth,” said the Marshal as he walked away intending to return to the camp and let his wife sleep.

No one in the area stopped the Marshal when intends to leave. There is only the sound of his footsteps echoing within that silence. The pressure and tension in the area remain as long the Marshal is there.

Only when those obsidian orbs landed on Lieutenant General Xue Ying and his partner, Student Lin Yven that the others flinched. Even Xue Ying couldnʼt help but slightly tremble under the eyes of his marshal.

Xue Yingʼs thoughts, ʼIs this still the Marshal Altair Sirius I know.ʼ

The remaining visage the marshal has as a human being cannot be seen or felt any longer. Even under his black eyes, he feels so little that he could only avoid meeting his marshalʼs eyes.

Marshal Sirius murmured, ”I cannot believe you choose to harm yourself for a mere mortal, baby~ Now I want to kill them to calm the anger in my heart.”

Those who heard his words flinched in disbelief as if they couldnʼt understand what the Marshal had said. He is speaking in the ancient language and among them, only Zhi Yue understood what his Lord Gog had said.

Lin Yven could feel the Marshalʼs disdain and dislike towards him. Theyʼre also an irrefutable aura around the marshal which he would only sometimes feel towards his Lord, Feng Jing.

Lieutenant General Xue Ying stuttered a bit when he tried to call his boss who was now acting weird at this moment. The coldness and indifference within those black orbs are making him want to run for it.

”M-Marshal?”

Thought of Zhi Yue, ʼDamn! The Lord God must be in rage right now. The memories of the last life and this one arenʼt good ones after all. His soul fragmentsʼ actions from before might have made his Lord God this mad. But he cannot kill these two mortals of the Host will also not forgive him easily. What should I do?ʼ

Zhi Yue also started panicking as he could feel that his Lord God truly wanted to kill some original residents of this world to calm his anger. He knew that the Marshal really intended to kill Xue Ying and Lin Yven who became the source of pain for his wife. Ye Xiajie is about to command the darkness to eliminate the couple when suddenly a small sneeze was heard from within his arms.

Achoo~

Sigh~

The killing intent that surrounds the Marshal instantly faded as his gaze turned tender while looking at Feng Jing. He pulled out a thick blanket from his wifeʼs dimensional space.

As his husband, he also has full control over Feng Jingʼs special dimensional space. Only once he did this that the dangerous aura around the Marshal had disappeared.

”Yue.”

”Yes, my lord!”

”Bring everyone back to the camp. Imprisoned everyone under Major General Navi and the Navi Clan. This includes their descendants. If someone steps in to save some, detain them as well. Whether they are royalty or not, those who help the traitors must be punished. I will take all the responsibility for it.” ordered Marshal Sirius but his eyes never left Feng Jingʼs figure.

Zhi Yue respectfully responded, ”Everything would go as you wish, my lord.”

”Xue Ying, you shouldnʼt initiate your other halfʼs rebirth until I and Jingʼer return. For now, his state would be kept at normal until we return.” said the Marshal.

Bewildered Lieutenant General Xue Ying still accepted his superiorʼs order. Even Lin Yven whose current vessel is about to fade to enter the ancestral nest of the Phoenix Family suddenly becomes normal. But among everyone in the area, only Zhi Yue knew that the mortal Lin Yvenʼs time was stopped temporarily by his lord. The Lord Godʼs main elements are Darkness and Time but his lord is also proficient in using Light and Fire elements.

Lieutenant General Xue Ying saluted and said, ”Yes, Marshal!”

The other soldiers in the area had all saluted the Marshal even Lin Tian who hadnʼt officially joined the military had instinctively saluted with the rest.

Marshal Sirius said, ”Return to the camp. We will be back a bit later.” Then everyone could only watch as the Marshal who was cradling the sleeping Feng Jing in his arms entered deeper into the dark forest. Following beside them is Roi, the black dragon king, and Reine, the phoenix-dragon hybrid.

Once the figure of the marshal had disappeared everyone in the area collectively let out a sigh. Even Zhi Yue, who was on his knees trembling, stood up from the ground. It can be seen from his limbs how nervous he is from what just happened.

Lin Tian helped Zhi Yue to stand properly, ”Careful. Are you alright, Sir Zhi Yue?”

”Thank you, Student Lin Tian. My legs just gave out a bit because Iʼm too nervous just now. Sigh~ too many things happened tonight. I feel so tired~” said Zhi Yue who was massaging his numbed legs in comfort.

The other soldiers were already informed about Zhi Yueʼs existence. He would sometimes disappear and would also appear out of nowhere. But things about this weird teenager were explained by Young Lord Feng Jing. He works as espionage for both the Marshal and the Young Lord. Thatʼs why he would disappear and appear without anyone knowing.

Xue Ying said, ”You were around, Zhi Yue.”

”Yes~ I was also tasked to look for Student Lin Yven ahead of time but in the end, you found him before everyone. Just in case you should have the military doctors check on him. The phoenix insignia stabilized Student Lin Yvenʼs broken spiritual domain temporarily.” said Zhi Yue as he was making excuses for things his lords had done. After all, the concept of elements in this world isnʼt widely known and they are based more on bloodlines instead.

Student Lin Tian went to his young brother and asked, ”Are you uncomfortable somewhere, Yve?” His eyes were full of worries and love for his brother.

Lin Yven smiled and felt that the torturous pain from before had suddenly faded, he could now stand up on his own but Xue Ying is not allowing him to do so. He could only remain within his embrace and let the man carry him back to the camp.

”Big brother, Iʼm okay. The pain had disappeared,” replied Student Lin Yven. There is a manifested phoenix feather insignia on his forehead.

Xue Ying looked at his lover gently and said, ”Even then... donʼt move abruptly. Carrying back to the camp is not hard for me, Yve. Letʼs allow the doctors to check on you before we return.” He kissed his forehead affectionately.

”Sigh~ okay,” said Lin Yven with a gentle smile on his face.

Seeing that he couldnʼt really ask this worrywart man, Lin Yven could only let him do as he wants. The doctors once again checked on Lin Yvenʼs body and the results were beyond what they had expected. Though the healing concoction they made him drink is effective, it wouldnʼt instantly regenerate his internal organs and fractured ribs but when theyʼve checked just now all of his physical injuries were cured miraculously.

”This is unbelievable. Everything is back to normal!”

”Even his smashed organs had been regenerated.”

”Is this even possible!?”

As someone who possessed half of the phoenix bloodline, Xue Ying explained, ”Phoenix bloodlineʼs regeneration is extremely fast. Before I got shot countless times on the battlefield. I even got used to personally taking out the bullets myself. As long as the bullets are out my regeneration abilities would instantly heal my wounds.”

”Thatʼs amazing...” said Lin Tian in awe. He had heard rumors about the Phoenix Clanʼs immortality but never to this extent. ”Then what about the direct descendants of Feng?” he asked curiously.

Xue Ying also noticed his lover was interested in this and could even feel everyoneʼs gaze on him.

”Well~ they arenʼt called an immortal clan for no reason. Their regeneration capabilities allowed cut limbs to regrow. I watched AʼYang blow up his fingers before after a few days it regrew and returned back to normal. Insane right~” said Xue Ying.

Seeing that everyone is diverting from their original task because of gossip, Zhi Yue can only pop their bubbles and let them return to reality.

”Are you sure itʼs okay to stay in this place like this? If the Marshal still saw us here, I guess we would be suffering collective hell punishments from him. Letʼs grab the traitors and return to the camp. Then you can continue to gossip afterward,” said Zhi Yue.

Upon hearing this threat, everyone had no other choice but to grab all the traitors and return to the camp. When they got back to the camp, the news about the Navi Clanʼs betrayal instantly spread not only within the camp but even in the Empire. Nova Seren also reported to her father about this event. Because of this, the whole Navi Clan was courted with the sin of treason. Everyone in the Navi Clan was captured, this includes those people in the Empire under the orders of the Old Marshal Janus.
