Chapter 1880: The Unscrupulous Person

Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation

“Blow up…”

Not to mention Team 1, even Qiu Yuluo and Ning Che were a little surprised by

Song Jinmin’swords.

In their opinion, it was fine as long as they taught these people a lesson and they did not come looking for trouble in the future.

They did not expect this guy to want to blow the other party up.

“I didn’t ask you to come here for a vacation. You have to know what you’re here for and have a clear understanding of your position.”

Song Jinmin handed three mortars to the three of them and said slowly, “Ordinary people are Huaxia’s pride. You are Huaxia’s spies, or rather, shadows. In this world, someone has to do the dirty work.”

Song Jinmin held the cigarette between his fingers and pointed at the car that was driving into the distance. “Let’s do it now. They’ll be too far away if we keep dwaddling.”

“Got it.”

The others stood to one side as the three women took up their mortars and began to aim and fire.

As the leader of the Central Guards Brigade, Lu Beichen knew the situation in the world like the back of his hand. He also knew what kind of organization Black Snake was and had absolute confidence in Lin Yi.

However, Lin Yi alone could not make Lu Beichen agree to this mission. However, in the end, the reason why he agreed and even encouraged it was because Song Jinmin was by his side.

With this person as a backer, there wouldn’t be any problems with this mission.

This would even allow the team to tacitly learn more from him.

This was because there were some things that he could not teach. Song Jinmin was more suitable for doing this.

Just like right now!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

The three shells drew three arches in the air and accurately landed on the three vehicles.

In an instant, flames soared into the sky in the distance, and thick smoke rose.

The three women heaved a sigh of relief, as if they were trying to calm themselves down.

This was the first time they had done such a thing.

“Let’s go.”

Song Jinmin waved his hand, and everyone got into the car and continued to move towards Baraw.

” Bingbing, what did you feel just now?”

In the car, Zhang Chao said excitedly.

Xiao Bing took a deep breath. “I feel like I wasn’t a member of the Central

Guards Brigade the moment I fired.”

“What do you mean?”

“I felt like a fearless bandit who killed whoever I wanted.”

” No way? What kind of feeling is that?” Zhang Chao Yue didn’t understand. “Actually, that’s what Song Jinmin meant,” Lin Yi said.

“Although we’re all members of the Central Guards Brigade, we can’t treat ourselves as pure good-hearted people.”

“Then what should we treat ourselves as?” Xiao Bing probed.

“People who would do anything to achieve their goal.” The two of them fell silent and seriously thought about Lin Yi’s words. At this moment, they seemed to have a clearer view of themselves. After more than half an hour of driving, they arrived at Baraw.

However, after arriving here, everyone realized that this place was even more desolate than they had imagined.

Broken houses could be seen everywhere. The streets were filled with dust, and barefoot children were staring at the three cars driving in with innocent and curious eyes. They held the bread in their hands tightly with their mouths agape.

“So this is Baraw…”

Looking at the devastated city in front of her, Yu Siying sighed.

The others in Team 1 were the same. At this moment, they saw the other side of the world.

Song Jinmin nodded. “The situation ten years ago was a little better than it is now, but over the past few years, it has been getting worse.”

“Although Black Snake’s people are despicable, there are still innocent poor people here. God is too unfair to these people,” Xiao Bing said.

“Heh…”

Song Jinmin chuckled, “We strive to get rich and powerful to break the rules, don’t we? Just like you guys-when you visit a hospital, do you follow the rules and wait in line?”

His words hit home for everyone.

Coming from wealthy and influential families, they had often bent the rules without even realizing it.

“This is fate,” Song Jinmin said, pointing to the people on the street. “Don’t be fooled by the bread in their hands. In a moment, they could be holding submachine guns, feeding us bullets.” Everyone fell silent, acknowledging the truth in Song Jinmin’s words. “You’ve spent too much time in Huaxia, developing a false sense of security. Life isn’t as valuable as you think.”

“Alright, enough with the philosophical talk,” Lin Yi said.

“We’re here. Let’s focus on the task. Where’s Black Snake’s stronghold?”

“Follow me.”

Song Jinmin gathered everyone together, pulled out a map, and pointed to a circular mark on it.

“This is the topographic map of Baraw. The location marked is Black Snake’s stronghold.”

“The person in charge is called Fosse. Killing him will serve as revenge for the death of our comrade.”

“Since the target is clear, let’s do it now,” Qiu Yuluo said.

“Don’t be anxious.” Song Jinmin said.

“Your goal is not to go to their headquarters, but to get the communication band.”

“Communication band?” Qiu Yuluo asked.

“You want to talk to them?”

Song Jinmin nodded. “You’re all skilled fighters, but we’re outnumbered. Even with weapons, charging in would turn us into Swiss cheese.

“Aren’t you coming with us?” Xiao Bing asked.

“I’m A-class, but I can’t dodge bullets,” Song Jinmin replied.

“So you need to capture one of their men, get the encrypted communication band, and leave the rest to me.”

He pointed to a spot on the map. “Start from the southwest. There’s a small outpost guarded by a squad leader. Capture him, take the communication band, and your job is done.”

“Got it,” Lin Yi said, then turned to the others to organize their gear and prepare for the mission.

Ten minutes later, the group of ten was ready and began infiltrating Black Snake’s outpost from the southwest.

The distance was less than three kilometers, not too challenging for them. The first kilometer was relatively easy to reach as it was on the outskirts of the city, with minimal obstacles.

To avoid unnecessary trouble, Lin Yi and the others didn’t reveal their identities when they encountered people along the way.

If there was a firefight at this time, his whereabouts would be quickly exposed. He had to be careful.

“F*ck, I really want to kill these people!” Sui Qiang cursed angrily.

Seeing Black Snake’s uniform, everyone remembered what happened in Panein. Endless hatred and anger burned in their hearts.

“Calm down,” Lin Yi said in a low voice.

“Now is not the time for revenge. Otherwise, the Panem incident might repeat itself. After we find the communication band, it will be time for us to take revenge.”
