I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

In terms of enhancement techniques, Lin Yi still has a considerable gap compared to Sun Dachuan.

But that was because Lin Yi had not yet maxed out his Enhancement Skill.

Earlier, he used the Inner Court to simulate the Enhancement Skill in order to gain the ability to enhance equipment, not to show off, but to demonstrate the power of the Inner Court.

After incorporating the enhancement skills into his own skill tree, Lin Yi did not immediately check the skill.

Before coming to the Divine Refining Bureau, Lin Yi specifically checked the Enhancement Skill that he had added to his skill list.

Currently, the level of Enhancement Skill Lin Yi possesses is at Tier One.

Upon opening the skill list, detailed skill information was displayed.

[Enhancement Skill]

[Type: Passive Skill]

[Tier: Tier One]

[System: Unknown]

[Cost: None]

[Chanting Time: None]

[Cooldown Time: None]

[Effect: Gain the ability to enhance equipment, which can enhance gear with a level 0 enhancement to 1-5. The success rate decreases as the enhancement level increases. Currently, the success rate of enhancing equipment to +1 is 100%, +2 is 90%, +3 is 80%, +4 is 70%, +5 is 65%, and +6 is only 5%]

[Remark: Enhancement, forging limitless possibilities]

No wonder Lin Yi could only enhance equipment to +5; after carefully reading the skill, he understood.

A 5% success probability is too low; it not only wastes materials but also damages equipment. With only Tier One Enhancement Skill, it’s best not to entertain the idea.

Based on the current enhancement level, Lin Yi is definitely not a match for Sun Dachuan.

However, Lin Yi has plenty of skill points in hand.

Once the Forging Skill is maxed, it’s not difficult to qualify to compete with Sun Dachuan.

With a thought, he opened the skill panel and started adding points.

[Cost 500 skill points, your Enhancement Skill was upgraded from Tier One to Tier Two]

[Cost 2000 skill points, your Enhancement Skill was upgraded from Tier Two to Tier Three]

[Cost 5000 skill points, your Enhancement Skill was upgraded from Tier Three to Tier Four]

[Cost 10000 skill points, your Enhancement Skill was upgraded from Tier Four to Tier Five]

[Cost 50000 skill points, your Enhancement Skill was upgraded from Tier Five to Tier Six]

[Cost 100,000 skill points, your Enhancement Skill was upgraded from Tier Six to Tier Seven]

....

[Cost 1,000,000 skill points, your Enhancement Skill was upgraded from Tier Eight to Tier Nine]

Upon rechecking the Enhancement Skill, this skill had undergone an earth-shattering transformation.

[Enhancement Skill]

[Type: Passive Skill]

[Tier: Tier Nine]

[System: Unknown]

[Cost: None]

[Chanting Time: None]

[Cooldown Time: None]

[Effect: Gain the ability to enhance equipment, which can enhance gear with a level 0 enhancement to 1-45. The success rate decreases as the enhancement level increases. Currently, the success rate of enhancing equipment to +41 and below is 100%, +42 is 90%, +43 is 80%, +44 is 70%, +45 is 65%, and +46 is only 5%]

[Remark: Enhancement, forging limitless possibilities]

Each skill, once enhanced to Forbidden Curse, will gain a new passive, and the enhancement skill is no exception.

[Gain new passive, Practice Makes Perfect]

[Practice Makes Perfect]

[Type: Passive Skill]

[Tier: Tier Nine]

[System: Unknown]

[Cost: None]

[Chanting Time: None]

[Cooldown Time: None]

[Effect: For each piece of equipment successfully enhanced to +45 independently, you will gain 1 point of luck. Each point of luck increases the probability of enhancing equipment to +46 by 1%. Every time you attempt a +46 enhancement, all luck points are cleared. When you successfully enhance equipment to +46 independently, you will receive the Blessing of the Master Craftsman, gaining an unexpected surprise. Additionally, each successful enhancement of +45 equipment permanently increases the success rate for enhancements of equipment below +45 by 5%]

[Remark: Single draws won’t produce miracles, it’s better to rely on guarantees—certain S. games]

....

After reading the introduction, Lin Yi was somewhat speechless.

How did they even manage to include guaranteed draws in this?

This means that unless I enhance 95 pieces of +45 equipment, my Forging Skill can only progress this far?

Well, even with skill points, it seems it’s not enough.

Lin Yi carefully reviewed the enhancement skill’s point allocation page; as far as enhancement skills are concerned, Forbidden Curse is already the endpoint. Don’t even mention Ancient Forbidden Curse, he can’t even manage the Divergent Forbidden Curse.

It’s not that materials or Xia currency are unavailable; there’s simply no point allocation button.

After double-checking that his eyes were not deceiving him, Lin Yi started to admire his own wisdom.

Coming to the Divine Refining Bureau was indeed a wise decision.

Taking advantage of the opportunity to spar with Sun Dachuan, he could boost his popularity, encouraging more people to bring their +45 equipment to him for enhancement.

”Dean, you’re underestimating Mr. Sun. In terms of combat ability, you are unmatched. Number one on Blue Star, when it comes to fighting, not even a hundred Mr. Suns could stand up to you.”

”But when it comes to enhancement techniques, Mr. Sun is top-notch. Moreover, Dean, as a Mage, how would you enhance equipment?”

Only a few people know about Lin Yi’s Enhancement Skill.

As a Mage, it’s perfectly normal for others to doubt his Forging Skill.

However, Lin Yi didn’t take these words to heart; he listened as the seniors at the Divine Refining Bureau praised Sun Dachuan while entering the bureau.

The Divine Refining Bureau, after official renovations, is much more luxurious than before.

The forging room now has many facilities that help enhancers save on enhancement steps.

Yet no one was using these devices.

Even for the cumbersome yet not very technically demanding preliminary processes, the enhancers at the Divine Refining Bureau insisted on doing them personally.

At one of the enhancement platforms, Sun Dachuan was hammering equipment with his eyes closed.

His actions were not intended to show off his skills, but rather to enjoy every step of the enhancement process, or every strike of the hammer.

”You’ve improved a lot, Dachuan. Nowadays, enhancing equipment to a level above +40 shouldn’t be difficult for you, right?”

Immersed in the sea of hammering, Sun Dachuan snapped back to attention upon hearing the familiar voice.

Hammering equipment is indeed enjoyable, but isn’t meeting a good brother even more joyful?

”Hey, how do you have time to come to my Divine Refining Bureau? Long time no see, brother.”

Sun Dachuan immediately put down the hammer in his hand, placing it on the tool table of the enhancement platform, then quickly walked toward Lin Yi.

”Isn’t that right? I’ve been showing my face at the entrance of your Divine Refining Bureau all day, yet I couldn’t get in. If it weren’t for these two seniors opening the door for me, I really would have become a rare guest.”

Listening to Lin Yi’s sarcastic tone, Sun Dachuan couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
