I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 511: Chapter 511: The Trial Dungeon Anticipated by All of Blue Star—Deep Sea Tower

With the involvement of He Zhenyuan and Xu Sheng, Lin Yi’s plan to become the dean had to be temporarily shelved.

The chubby Feng Sanyou, however, was quite pleased.

Lin Yi had agreed to his request before leaving.

In Feng Sanyou’s words, with Yi’s assurance, he wouldn’t back down even from an open-world BOSS, let alone a Soul Suppressing level dungeon.

Previously, when the Atlantis instance was set up by the Beautiful Country, it trapped the elites of various Blue Star countries.

As a result, many countries dispatched numerous diving-type professionals to explore the ruins of Atlantis and assess the situation.

These professionals, tasked with investigating, earned a month’s hard work fee in one go.

Therefore, the investigation operation did not end with the conclusion of the war but continued for a short time.

After Lin Yi dealt with the Desolate God, the entrance to the Atlantis instance, which opens once every three hundred years, changed.

The regularly opening Descent Abyss entrance transformed into a mysterious gate engraved with ancient characters.

Beyond the gate, an inverted Deep Sea Tower clearly presented itself before the diving professionals.

The diving professionals initially planned to enter and investigate, but to their surprise, a robust transparent barrier surrounded the Deep Sea Tower.

Besides the immense pressure of the seawater, black-armored sea fish could occasionally be seen roaming inside the barrier.

These black-armored sea fish had frightening fangs and claws.

They moved about the tower, busy with an orderly diligence.

Even when noticing humans observing them, they paid no heed and continued to focus on their tasks.

The changes in the Atlantis ruins were recorded by the diving professionals and handed over to the higher authorities of various countries.

After detailed analysis by relevant departments, it was discovered that the black-armored sea fish were transporting a large amount of soul cores.

Moreover, the structure of the Deep Sea Tower was almost identical to the inverted Sky Tower, leading professionals from various countries to realize that it was a special trial instance providing numerous soul cores.

Thinking back, Blue Star countries fought fiercely for entries into the inverted Sky Tower.

Such an important resource was something countries couldn’t remain calm about.

Unlike years ago, this time, Blue Star countries didn’t go to war over resources. Instead, they reported the findings to the Blue Star Professional Alliance.

In Xu Sheng’s special seat, Lin Yi, upon He Zhenyuan’s introduction, watched the footage taken by various countries’ diving professionals from the Atlantis ruins.

“Dragon God War God, is there confidence in pioneering this instance?”

He Zhenyuan’s address made Lin Yi somewhat embarrassed.

Pioneering the Deep Sea Tower is unlike other instances.

Currently, Blue Star’s countries have relatively harmonious relations, even overturning the usual resource distribution methods.

Previously, resource allocation among countries was assessed based on each country’s strength.

In other words, countries like Xia and the Beautiful Country, with significantly stronger national strength, could receive more resources.

With Xu Sheng becoming the highest commander of the Blue Star Professional Alliance, resource distribution changed to merit-based allocation.

Regardless of nationality, only strength is considered.

That is, any strong individual from any country, possessing enough strength and contributions, could obtain corresponding resources.

This reform was a massive boon to talented professionals from smaller countries.

It also fostered even greater unity among countries.

Thanks to Xu Sheng’s adjustments, the emergence of the Deep Sea Tower didn’t cause unpredictable turmoil on Blue Star.

The Atlantis ruins lie ten thousand meters beneath the sea.

For diving professionals, descending is indeed relatively easy.

But they can’t rely on their own strength to open the Atlantis ruins entrance, nor are they confident to face the black-armored fish within the barrier.

For combat-type professionals, opening the gate isn’t a problem.

However, descending ten thousand meters beneath the sea without large diving equipment is almost impossible.

“Pioneering the Deep Sea Tower isn’t a challenge for me.”

After Echo’s fall, Lin Yi successfully retrieved Poseidon’s Trident and obtained its core—the Sea God’s Heart.

This material serves as both a mission item and an indispensable tool for Lin Yi to gain even more powerful abilities.

By integrating the Sea God’s Heart, Lin Yi acquired the power to command the ocean. With that alone, Lin Yi could easily reach the underwater Atlantis ruins.

If he wants to open the Deep Sea Tower later, Lin Yi can also use the Sea God’s Heart to part the sea water, creating a path for professionals from various countries to enter the deep sea.

“I’m quite interested in this matter, especially after the last battle made me realize the importance of martial souls.”

Lin Yi mused, his gaze becoming distant.

The Great Saint’s divine power that day was vivid in his mind.

Once the martial soul’s level is raised, professionals can gain power equal to the martial soul’s former strength.

At that point, the martial soul could materialize, becoming Lin Yi’s partner, continuing its existence in another form in this world.

To thank the Great Saint for intervening at a critical moment and to protect Xia’s countless families, as well as those he cherished, Lin Yi must elevate the martial soul’s level as much as possible.

“That would be wonderful. With your strong support, this instance pioneering will surely be successful.”

Xu Sheng and He Zhenyuan stated, beaming with smiles.

An endless polar region stretched out, a vast expanse of white.

Previously, only the occasional resonant whale chants broke the silence in this barren land.

But now, the polar region was bustling.

Tens of thousands of elite professionals from various countries arrived here on their respective country’s ships.

The images from the Atlantis ruins filled them with excitement.

Everyone hoped to contribute their skills to the instance’s exploration.

Unfortunately, neither body-refining warriors nor mages skilled in various techniques could deal with the icy ten-thousand-meter-deep sea.

Whoosh.

Under the gaze of tens of thousands of professionals, a surge of icy seawater soared into the sky.

Then, a burly professional dressed in traditional Ying Nute attire burst out of the water.

He trembled all over, his skin turning purple from the cold, his large white teeth chattering at a rapid pace.

“Tsk tsk tsk…. No, no, it’s unbearable….”

This Ying Nute professional hugged himself tightly as he burst out of the water, meeting everyone’s expectant gaze with regret.

“What? Didn’t you say Ying Nute professionals often dive into icy waters to hunt whales? Besides, don’t your space attribute skills let you keep the seawater from contacting you?”

“Yeah, even that didn’t work?”

The polar region erupted in chatter.

As more and more people’s eyes focused on the airship bearing Xia’s emblem hovering in the polar sky, the entire region suddenly fell silent.

The hope of exploring the Deep Sea Tower instantly ignited!
