The power of 20,000 Explosive Fire Spirit Stones exploding at the same time was horrifying. Despite that, the Grand Defensive Ward of Dark Moon Forest Pass still wasn’t shattered.

Just as Lin Yue and Zhang Kun were relieved, a terrifying fluctuation of energy was felt coming from the other side.

As Liu Yuemei activated her Spiritual Power, her clothes and dark hair flapped in the air. She was holding a spear that was about a metre long. As she infused her Divine Ocean Realm power into the spear, lightning was seen wandering around the weapon. It soon turned into a bolt of lightning.

With the spear in Liu Yuemei’s hand, it looked as if she was holding a flash of lightning.

“Destructive Lightning Spear!” Zhang Kun felt his eyelids twitching when he recognised the spear.

It wasn’t that he usually paid much attention to Liu Yuemei. It was just that the Destructive Lightning Spear was famous. Besides the fact that it was the most important treasure of Sky Origin Clan, it was also a treasure that could be considered on the same level as Mountain River Scroll.

Usually, such an important treasure was kept inside the Sect. Unless the matter would affect the Sect’s future, such a treasure wouldn’t be used.

As such, no one expected that Liu Yuemei had brought the treasure with her.

Naturally, she didn’t have the right to use the treasure, but Yu Huajin was behind her, which meant there was room for manoeuvre.

Under normal circumstances, the Grand Defensive Ward of Dark Moon Forest Pass might be able to fend off the spear’s attack. Nevertheless, the Grand Ward was damaged and shaky. Once Liu Yuemei managed to activate the spear’s power, the consequences would be dire.

“Don’t you dare!” Zhang Kun bellowed and charged towards Liu Yuemei, intending to stop her.

But as soon as he made a move, another Divine Ocean Realm Master from the Grand Sky Coalition went over and intercepted him. Although Zhang Kun was frustrated, he had no choice but to get into a fight with him.

Seeing that, Lin Yue could only leave the Pass and pounce on Liu Yuemei.

However, Liu Yuemei didn’t even spare her a glance as she fully focused on infusing her power into the spear. With a dark gaze, she looked in a particular direction within Dark Moon Forest Pass and said through clenched teeth, “Brat, you’re doomed!”

It seemed that she had discovered Lu Ye’s whereabouts.

She had never seen Li Taibai before, but many Grand Sky Coalition cultivators were there when Tan Shu was killed. Therefore, it wasn’t hard for her to find out what Li Taibai looked like.

That was how she instantly recognised Lu Ye, who was looking around from a rooftop. His white clothes and the bottle gourd at his waist were conspicuous as well.

“Over my dead body!” Lin Yue barked. As soon as she finished speaking, a figure appeared out of nowhere. Before the person made a move, no one was aware of his presence. His aura showed that he was also a Divine Ocean Realm Master.

Lin Yue was instantly intercepted.

“Damn it!” she bellowed. She and Zhang Kun already thought of the possibility of other Divine Ocean Realm Masters from the Grand Sky Coalition hiding somewhere. There was one right before her eyes. Since the other party was adept at hiding, he was never exposed. That was why she and Zhang Kun weren’t aware of his presence.

Now, no one from Dark Moon Forest Pass could stop Liu Yuemei while the woman had a divine item such as the Destructive Lightning Spear in her hand. There was no doubt Dark Moon Forest Pass was in danger.

Fortunately, when Lin Yue realised they were in a perilous situation earlier, she quickly contacted the nearby Passes. Two Divine Ocean Realm Masters were coming over. It would only take them an hour to arrive.

As long as they could hold on for an hour, the crisis would be resolved.

At the same time, the spear in Liu Yuemei’s hand turned into a bolt of lightning and charged towards Dark Moon Forest Pass.

There was almost no noise, but when the lightning struck the already shaky Grand Defensive Ward, it could no longer persevere.

Just then, a crack was heard. It wasn’t until now that the deafening thunder sounded.

As soon as the spear struck the Grand Defensive Ward, the lightning spread across the light screen and made it look like a web of lightning.

The Grand Defensive Ward couldn’t hold on any longer. With a crack, it fell apart like a broken mirror.

At that moment, the Grand Sky Coalition cultivators, who were frustrated, descended onto Dark Moon Forest Pass like ominous tigers with Liu Yuemei leading the way.

The battle began as cultivators from both sides clashed with one another.

Liu Yuemei made her way through the Thousand Demon Ridge cultivators. No one was able to restrain a Divine Ocean Realm Master like her. The power she showcased in this situation was horrifying. If she wanted, she could slaughter all of them.

But she didn’t do that as she directly landed on the rooftop where Lu Ye was seen, but as she looked around, the man was nowhere in sight.

In fact, he had already fled when Liu Yuemei activated the spear’s power and engulfed the entire Grand Defensive Ward with lightning.

Naturally, he wouldn’t stay there and wait for death. Liu Yuemei had come all the way here to look for him, and attacking the Pass was part of the process.

Therefore, he knew he couldn’t fall into Liu Yuemei’s hands.

Presently, he was hiding in a secretive place. He had also activated some Glyphs to curb his aura and conceal his presence as he remained unmoving. The rest depended on the Heavens’ will.

However, it was extremely difficult to avoid getting detected by a Divine Ocean Realm Master.

When Liu Yuemei couldn’t find Lu Ye, she was incensed. She knew that Lu Ye couldn’t possibly flee in such a short time, so he must be hiding somewhere. She immediately scanned her surroundings with her Divine Ego, but she still couldn’t find Lu Ye.

“You can’t hide forever!” Liu Yuemei growled and activated her Spiritual Power, after which a powerful spell spread in all directions.

Houses collapsed and turned into ruins in an instant. With Liu Yuemei as the centre, the spell rolled out in all directions. The Thousand Demon Ridge cultivators who were unable to flee were swept into it and killed.

Lu Ye didn’t dare to look, but he was terrified when he felt the wrath of a Divine Ocean Realm Master.

The power of the spell was getting closer to his hiding place. Soon, he wouldn’t be able to keep hiding.

A moment later, Lu Ye had no choice but to shoot into the sky as he rushed towards the exit.

“Where do you think you’re going?” Liu Yuemei instantly set her eyes on Lu Ye and cast another spell at him from a distance.

Sensing the danger from behind, Lu Ye intended to dodge it. However, how was he supposed to do that when the powerful attack came from a Divine Ocean Realm Master?

The spell struck Lu Ye’s back, causing him to be injured in an instant. He staggered and sprayed out a mouthful of blood. Even his Spiritual Power had turned into a mess.

“Huh?” Liu Yuemei appeared surprised.

She believed that there was no way a Third-Order Real Lake Realm Master could take her attack, which could definitely render him immovable. Unfortunately, things went against her wishes.

“Is he wearing some Armour?” Liu Yuemei had acute eyesight, so she could tell that the Red Dragon Warsuit that Lu Ye was wearing was extraordinary. She instantly realised that the other party managed to survive her attack thanks to the Armour.

So what if he survived this time? There was no way a Real Lake Realm Master she had targeted could run away from her.

In front of her, Lu Ye was running away at full speed. If not for the fact that he was worried that using Wings would expose his identity, he would’ve used it. Now, he could only use Windwalk, coupled with his Third-Order Real Lake Realm cultivation, he could still move as fast as lightning.

Anyway, due to the huge gap between their powers, it wouldn’t be useful even if he activated Wings.

At the same time, a doubt rose within him. He could feel that Liu Yuemei didn’t have the intention of killing him. Otherwise, he would’ve suffered miserably following the attack.

With the Red Dragon Warsuit’s protection, coupled with his robust physique, he was only slightly injured by the attack even though he was taken aback.

He didn’t think Liu Yuemei was magnanimous enough to let him off. When their eyes met earlier, he could tell that her gaze was full of resentment and murderous intent.

Since she didn’t kill him when there was a chance, it was apparent that she intended to capture him.

Because of the huge gap between their powers, she could indeed capture him. It seemed that she intended to bring him back and offer him as a sacrifice to the deceased Tan Shu.

Lu Ye instantly realised Liu Yuemei’s intention. There was no doubt it was good news to him. If a Divine Ocean Realm Master insisted on killing him, he wouldn’t stand a chance to survive.

However, if she just wanted to capture him, he wouldn’t be in a perilous situation at the very least.

While he was in his thoughts, Liu Yuemei’s second attack arrived. Naturally, Lu Ye had detected it, but he was still unable to dodge it as the attack struck his back.

He sprayed out a mouthful of blood again and started seeing Stars. His figure started sinking uncontrollably.

While enduring the excruciating pain in his chest, he could confirm that Liu Yuemei indeed had no intention of killing him. She just wanted to capture him.

Before he even landed on the ground, the third attack arrived.

This time, he didn’t try to dodge it. Instead, he quickly activated the Red Dragon Warsuit’s protection. In an instant, he was engulfed in a light screen as though he was protected by a Ward.

That was one of the amazing uses of this Armour as it came with a Defensive Ward. It could be activated with the user’s Spiritual Power. If used properly, it could offer effective protection.

With the help of the warsuit’s protection, Lu Ye managed to fend off the third attack.

He crashed into a house, damaging the rooftop. The moment he landed on the ground, he hurriedly got to his feet. He took a deep breath to calm down his Spiritual Power and madly infused his power into the Sword Gourd.

When he looked up through the broken rooftop, Liu Yuemei was rapidly descending in an attempt to catch him.

As their eyes met, Liu Yuemei said through clenched teeth, “You’re doomed!”

As she spoke, she extended her hand towards Lu Ye. A huge hand made from Spiritual Power struck the house, causing it to collapse.

Lu Ye tapped on the Sword Gourd and bellowed, “Go!”

Countless Sword Lights emerged from the Sword Gourd and turned into a Sword Dragon, which swaggered towards the Spiritual Power hand.

The move was beyond what a Third-Order Real Lake Realm Master could use. Liu Yuemei was startled when she saw that.

Infuriated, she exerted more force with her hand and caused the Spiritual Power hand to descend faster.

As the Sword Dragon clashed with it, many Sword Lights disappeared.

The Sword Gourd’s quality was beyond Lu Ye’s comprehension. Now, he was unable to activate even one bit of its power. He was only relying on the Sword Qi that the Sword Gourd had absorbed and turned into.

He could kill Tan Shu, a Seventh-Order Real Lake Realm Master in a short time, but this move felt weak when used against Liu Yuemei, a Divine Ocean Realm Master.

Fortunately, he had slowed down the Spiritual Power hand from descending.
