His Beloved Treasure

”Let’s be together, let’s be together!”

Qin Mu looked at the man kneeling before her, holding a big bunch of fiery red roses.

She was brought here by classmates, and then...

Was he proposing to her?

There were also candles lit on the ground, their light flickering in her eyes, brightening and dimming.

Suddenly, the man kneeling in front of her stood up and delivered the big bunch of roses he had prepared into her arms.

Qin Mu had always been rather indifferent in relationships, although she hadn’t been short on confessions, this was definitely the first time such a grand gesture had been directed at her. She was a bit stunned!

The man directly wrapped his arms around her slender waist: ”I love you!”

Wow!

A sound of astonishment came from the crowd.

Love?

Handsome and wealthy, with impressive talents, there were people who would line up around the entire square to marry him. Why would he set his sights on her?

The sudden closeness of his breath made her frown subconsciously.

Not out of nervousness, but disgust!

She suddenly realized that his distance from her was as close as a whisper!

”Could you stay a bit further away from me, please?”

She asked angrily, but the voices around were too loud, it seemed like no one cared about her voice at all!

The boy, hugging her, was about to kiss her when she was just about to raise her hand to push him away—

Suddenly, a few cars drove over and stopped on the road next to the square. A firefighter in uniform opened a hydrant and aimed the hose at the candles scattered on the ground spraying them.

”Hey, what are you doing?”

Qin Mu looked at the chaotic scene in front of her, backed away into the crowd, and from the beginning to the end, she was not in the right state of mind. And it was even less probable that she would accept his proposal.

Walking towards her rented small apartment, the early autumn night brought a hint of chill. There were few pedestrians on the road at this time, and although it was not a long walk, she hurried back, allowing the cold wind to clear her somewhat muddled mind.

She hadn’t walked far when she looked back, feeling an unusual sensation.

It was as if someone was following her.

This feeling had started a few days ago and hadn’t gone away.

Finally, at the bottom of the apartment building, she relaxed a little.

A tall figure suddenly walked towards her!

Before Qin Mu could react, she was pinned against a wall. The strong force was like a cage, trapping her tightly, the warm breath enveloping her completely.

”Why didn’t you refuse?”

His dark eyes bore into hers as he arrogantly questioned her, hand pinching her chin.

Forced to tilt her head back, Qin Mu’s head rested against the cold wall behind her, looking up in utter panic at the tall man towering over her.

How could he be in Paris? Was it another business trip?

”Answer me, why didn’t you reject him? Craving a man, huh?”

”I—It’s none of your business.”

Her hand pressed against the wall rose to push Mu Yichen away, instinctively turning her face to the side.

”I originally thought you were still young, but it seems I was mistaken!”

He chuckled softly, his gaze on her growing more profound.

Ten months later, in a private hospital room in Paris.

”You are awake, it’s a girl!”
