Harem Master: Seduction System

Chapter 371: Safeguarding The Sect

The wind howled across the snow-capped peaks of the Cloud Mist Mountain Range, carrying with it the biting chill of the eternal winter that governed this region. But atop the newly restored main gate of the Frozen Cloud Asgard, the cold seemed to lose its edge, broken against the invisible, shimmering barrier that Alaric had woven into the very fabric of the atmosphere.

Alaric stood at the edge of the parapet, his black robes whipping violently around him, his hands clasped behind his back. He looked out over the vast expanse of white, his red eyes glowing with the satisfaction of a conqueror surveying his new domain. Behind him, the sect—once a blackened ruin—now stood proud and pristine, the blue crystal spires catching the sunlight and refracting it into a thousand rainbows. It was a miracle of restoration, a testament to his power as an Archmage.

But to Alaric, it was just a stage. A backdrop for the play he was directing.

He raised his hand, a high-grade transmission jade pulsing in his palm. It was warm to the touch, connected directly to the soul imprint of his most capable servant.

”Ruoli,” Alaric spoke into the stone, his voice low and commanding. ”The stage is set. Bring the props.”

’Master,’ Lin Ruoli’s voice echoed in his mind, clear and respectful. ’The convoy is ready. We have emptied three warehouses of the Jade Serpent Guild and liquidated the reserved assets of the Gilded Lotus’s northern branch as you commanded. We are carrying enough spirit stones to buy a small kingdom, along with High-Tier defensive array components and ten thousand bottles of Foundation Building Pills.’

”Good,” Alaric murmured. ”Do not worry about the cost. Money is just a tool. If the Gilded Lotus complains, tell Ya Su to sell another branch. I want this sect fortified until it can withstand a siege from the Heavens themselves.”

’Understood, Master. We are approaching your coordinates now. ETA one hour.’

Alaric cut the connection. He turned around to find Yun Lan standing dutifully a few paces behind him.

She was breathtaking. He had made her change out of her formal Sect Master robes. Now, she wore a dress of ice-blue silk that clung to her curves like a second skin. It was elegant, yet daring—the neckline plunged deep, revealing the creamy swell of her massive cleavage, and the slit in the skirt rode high up her thigh, teasing glimpses of her pale, flawless skin with every gust of wind. It was the attire of a cherished consort, not a warrior.

”My dear,” Alaric said, extending his hand.

Yun Lan stepped forward immediately, placing her hand in his. She looked at him with eyes that held a mixture of deep adoration and lingering fear—not fear of him, but fear of losing him.

”The resources are coming,” Alaric told her, pulling her close until her chest pressed against his. He could feel the rapid beat of her heart. ”Your disciples will want for nothing. Your elders will have the pills they need to repair their foundations.”

”You... you do too much for us,” Yun Lan whispered, resting her head against his shoulder. ”I don’t know how I can ever repay this debt.”

”We’ve discussed payment,” Alaric reminded her, his hand sliding down her back to cup her round, firm buttocks. He squeezed, enjoying the soft yield of her flesh. ”And you have been paying quite well.”

Yun Lan blushed, hiding her face in his neck.

”But there is one more thing,” Alaric said, his tone turning serious. He lifted her chin, forcing her to look at him. ”This restoration... it must remain a secret. A ghost story.”

”A secret?”

”Feng Xiao,” Alaric said, spitting the name like a curse. ”If that rabid dog knows this place stands again... if he knows I have rebuilt what he destroyed... his fragile ego won’t take it. He will return. And he will burn it down again, just to prove a point. He will kill your disciples to spite me.”

Yun Lan shuddered. The memory of Feng Xiao’s flames was a scar on her soul. ”He... he would do that. He is ruthless.”

”Exactly,” Alaric said. ”So, you must issue a Blood Silence Order.”

”A Blood Silence Order?” Yun Lan’s eyes widened. That was the most severe command a Sect Master could give. It bound the disciples’ very souls to secrecy; if they spoke, their blood would boil.

”Every disciple. Every elder,” Alaric commanded. ”They must swear never to speak of the sect’s restoration to the outside world. To the rest of the empire, the Frozen Cloud Asgard is still a graveyard. A ruin.”

”I... I understand,” Yun Lan nodded, her expression hardening. ”They fear him. They will agree. They would rather live in secret than die in his flames.”

”Good.”

Alaric turned back to the view. He raised his hands, and the chaotic mana within him flared. He didn’t use the flashy Qi of this world; he used Void Magic, weaving a spell of concealment on a conceptual level.

”Mirage of the Fallen Era.”

A ripple passed over the mountain. To anyone standing inside, nothing changed. But to anyone looking from the outside—from the sky or the base of the mountain—the glistening palaces vanished. They were replaced by a hyper-realistic illusion of shattered walls, blackened craters, and snow-covered debris. The energy signature of the sect was masked, dampened to resemble the background radiation of a dead spirit vein.

”It is done,” Alaric said, lowering his hands. ”This is now my private garden. No pests allowed.”

He turned back to Yun Lan, his eyes gleaming with possessiveness. ”And you... your primary job is no longer managing this place. You have Elder Bing for that. Your job... is to please me. To be available whenever I reach for you.”

He ran his thumb over her lower lip.

”I am yours,” Yun Lan breathed, leaning into his touch, her will completely eroded by his dominance and the narrative he had spun. ”Use me as you wish.”

Three days later, the sky above the Frozen Cloud Asgard darkened as a behemoth descended through the clouds.

It was a flying ship, massive and sleek, its hull painted a deep, emerald green. The sigil of the Jade Serpent Guild—a coiled snake devouring a gold coin—was emblazoned on the sails. It moved with a silent, menacing grace, the anti-gravity arrays humming deeply.

Alaric sat in the Main Hall, lounging on the crystal throne he had claimed as his own. The hall was warm now, heated by arrays he had installed, but the crystal seat remained cool beneath him.

Yun Lan sat next to him on a smaller, cushioned seat he had conjured. She looked nervous, fidgeting with the hem of her dress. She knew who was coming.

The massive doors of the hall creaked open.

Two figures walked in, followed by a train of servants carrying chests that glowed with the light of spirit stones.

Leading the procession was Lin Ruoli. She was a vision of regal authority, wearing heavy, formal robes of green and gold that emphasized her status as a Guildmaster. Her hair was pinned up in an intricate style, and her face was a mask of cool, professional competence. But when her eyes met Alaric’s, the mask slipped for a fraction of a second, revealing a burning, fanatical devotion.

Walking a step behind her was Ya Su.

The Chief Auctioneer of the Gilded Lotus wore a dress of shimmering crimson, cut to showcase her voluptuous figure, though she looked pale. Her eyes darted around the restored hall, widening as she saw the pristine condition of the place she had heard was a ruin. And then, her gaze landed on Yun Lan.

Yun Lan stiffened. She looked at Ya Su, then at Alaric.

”Master,” Lin Ruoli said, her voice echoing in the hall. She knelt gracefully on one knee, bowing her head. ”The supplies are here. We have brought everything you requested.”

Ya Su hesitated for a moment, the old pride of the Gilded Lotus warring with her new reality. Then, the memory of the slave seal and the nights in the ice cave flashed through her mind. She knelt beside Lin Ruoli, bowing low.

”Greetings... Master,” Ya Su whispered.

Yun Lan’s breath hitched. She looked at Alaric, her blue eyes wide with shock.

”Guildmaster Lin... and Auctioneer Ya?” Yun Lan murmured. ”They... they call you Master?”

Alaric laughed, a deep, rich sound that seemed to vibrate through the crystal throne. He reached out and grabbed Yun Lan’s hand, pulling her from her seat and dragging her onto his lap.

”Don’t be surprised, my dear,” Alaric purred, wrapping his arm around her waist and nuzzling her neck in front of the other women. ”They belong to me. Just as you do. Power attracts beauty, does it not?”

”But...” Yun Lan glanced at Ya Su, who was still kneeling, her head bowed. ”The rumors... everyone in the Northern Prefecture said that Ya Su was... that she was Feng Xiao’s woman. That she supported him.”

At the mention of Feng Xiao, Ya Su flinched visibly.

Alaric smirked. He waved a dismissive hand.

”Feng Xiao?” he scoffed. ”That boy didn’t appreciate her. He treated her like a wallet. A convenient bank to fund his little adventures. He left her alone for months, chasing his flames, never giving her the attention a woman like her needs.”

He looked at Ya Su, his eyes narrowing slightly, a silent command transmitting through their bond. Play along.

”Is that not right, Ya Su?” Alaric asked, his voice silky but dangerous. ”Tell her. Tell her why you are here.”

Ya Su swallowed hard. She felt the heavy gaze of Yun Lan—the woman she had helped trap—and the burning stare of Alaric. She had to lie. To save herself, and to protect Feng Xiao from Alaric’s wrath, she had to debase herself.

”It is... true,” Ya Su said, her voice trembling. She looked up, forcing a look of adoration onto her face. ”Feng Xiao... he is a hero, yes. But he is a boy. He does not understand... a woman’s needs.”

She looked at Alaric. ”But the Master... when I saw his power... when I saw his majesty... I couldn’t help myself. He is a true Dragon. Compared to him, Feng Xiao is just... a flickering candle.”

Alaric grinned, a predator watching his prey dance. ”She threw herself at me, Yun Lan. She begged me to take her. She was so infatuated with my strength, my appearance... she offered me everything just to be in my shadow.”

”She... threw herself at you?” Yun Lan repeated, stunned. She looked at Ya Su—the Golden Vixen, known for her untouchable allure—kneeling like a servant.

”Indeed,” Alaric said. ”And I am a benevolent man. How could I refuse such a beautiful offering?”

He beckoned to Ya Su with a crook of his finger. ”Come here, pet.”

Ya Su stood up, her legs shaking. She walked up the steps of the dais.

Alaric didn’t let go of Yun Lan. Instead, he reached out with his free hand and grabbed Ya Su by the waist, pulling her forcefully between his spread legs, right next to where Yun Lan was perched on his knee.

He buried his face in Ya Su’s cleavage, inhaling deeply. ”Mmm. You smell like gold and sin.”

He kissed her. It wasn’t a gentle kiss. He ravaged her mouth, his tongue sweeping inside, claiming her in front of the former Sect Master. His hand roamed over her body, groping her large, soft breasts through the silk of her red dress, pinching the nipples until Ya Su gasped into his mouth.

He pulled back, leaving Ya Su breathless and flushed, her lipstick smeared.

Then, he grabbed her hips and ground his crotch—already hardening—against her belly.

”You see, Yun Lan?” Alaric said, looking at the woman on his lap. ”She knows her place. She knows who the real man is.”

Yun Lan watched, a complicated storm of emotions in her eyes. There was shock, yes. But there was also a spike of jealousy. Seeing Alaric touch another woman so intimately... it burned. But beneath the jealousy was a strange, twisted form of acceptance.

If a woman as proud and powerful as Ya Su—a woman who had the pick of any man in the empire—had abandoned the famous Flame King to submit to Alaric... then Alaric truly was irresistible. It validated her own submission. It meant she wasn’t weak; she had simply been conquered by the best.

Alaric saw the look in her eyes. The doubt. The hesitation.

He frowned.

”What is that look?” he asked, his voice dropping.

He released Ya Su and grabbed Yun Lan by the chin, turning her face to his.

”Are you doubting my charm, Yun Lan?”

”No...” Yun Lan whispered.

”I think you are,” Alaric said. ”You’re wondering if I’m lying. You’re wondering if I’m worthy of having all of you.”

He stood up, lifting Yun Lan with him, then depositing her on her feet.

”Turn around,” he commanded.

Yun Lan hesitated. They were not alone. Lin Ruoli was watching from the floor. Ya Su was standing right there.

”Alaric... please... not in front of...”

”Turn. Around.” His voice was iron.

Yun Lan bit her lip, her face burning with shame, but the training of the last few days kicked in. She turned, presenting her back to him.

”Lean forward,” Alaric ordered. ”Place your hands on the armrest of the throne. Present yourself.”

Yun Lan trembled. This was the throne she had sat on for twenty years. Now, she was being told to bend over it like a misbehaving concubine.

She leaned forward, gripping the cold crystal. She arched her back, sticking her round, heart-shaped buttocks out. The silk of her dress pulled tight across her rear.

Alaric looked at the other two women. ”Watch,” he told them. ”Watch how a Sect Master learns her place.”

He raised his hand and brought it down hard.

SMACK!

The sound was like a whip crack in the silent hall.

”Ah!” Yun Lan cried out, her body jerking forward, her hands slipping on the crystal. The sting was sharp, hot, and humiliating.

”Are you doubting me?” Alaric asked calmly.

SMACK!

”No!” Yun Lan sobbed, tears springing to her eyes. ”No, my dear! I do not doubt you!”

SMACK!

He hit her again, harder. Her ass jiggled beautifully, the flesh turning pink through the silk.

”You conquer everyone!” she cried out, desperate to please him, desperate to stop the punishment, but also feeling that dark, familiar heat pooling in her belly. ”You are the only King! We are all yours!”

Alaric stopped. He rubbed the spot he had struck, his hand heavy and possessive.

”Good,” he purred. ”Remember that.”

He pulled her back up, spinning her around to kiss her tears away. ”I do this because I love you, Yun Lan. I need you to understand the reality of our world. I am the sun. You are the planets.”

He looked at the three women—The Guildmaster, The Auctioneer, and The Sect Master. Three of the most powerful women in the Northern Prefecture.

”You are sisters now,” Alaric declared. ”Acknowledge each other.”

Lin Ruoli stepped forward, bowing to Yun Lan. ”Sister Yun.”

Ya Su, wiping her mouth, curtsied. ”Sister Yun.”

Yun Lan looked at them. She rubbed her sore backside, her face flushed. She realized, with a sense of finality, that this was her life now. And looking at Alaric, so dominant and beautiful on the throne... she didn’t want to leave.

”Sister Lin. Sister Ya,” Yun Lan whispered.

”Excellent,” Alaric grinned. ”Now, to business.”

”Ruoli,” he commanded. ”You and Ya Su will manage the logistics here. Rebuild the defenses. Distribute the resources. I want this place impregnable.”

He tossed a golden talisman to Lin Ruoli. ”Use this. Contact Professor Lilliana. Tell her to come here immediately. I need her arrays. She is an Archmage of the elements; she can turn this mountain into a fortress that kills anyone who isn’t invited.”

”An Archmage?” Yun Lan asked, confused by the term.

”Think of her as a Martial King of Magic,” Alaric said. ”She will secure your home.”

He turned to Ya Su. ”You will return to the auction house in Snow Moon City eventually. You must keep up appearances. Monitor Feng Xiao’s movements.”

He stepped close to Ya Su, his voice dropping to a whisper only she could hear.

”If he comes sniffing... if he asks about Yun Lan... you know nothing. You haven’t seen her. You haven’t seen me. You are just a loyal merchant waiting for her hero. Do you understand?”

Ya Su felt the slave seal on her womb throb—a dull, sickening ache. ”I understand,” she whispered. ”I will tell him nothing.”

”Good girl.”

Alaric turned back to Yun Lan, taking her hand.

”As for us, my love... we have a trip to take.”

”A trip?” Yun Lan asked.

”Pack your things, my dear woman,” Alaric grinned, his eyes gleaming with the thrill of the next hunt. ”We’re going to a warmer climate. The North is too... restrictive.”

He leaned in close, his breath hot against her ear.

”And pack light,” he whispered. ”Where we are going, the heat is intense. You will need lighter clothes... or perhaps, no clothes at all. I have some... bikinis... I want you to model for me in the desert.”

Yun Lan blushed crimson, imagining herself wearing those scandalous strips of cloth in the open air. But she nodded, her will completely eroded.

”Yes, husband,” she whispered.

”We leave in an hour,” Alaric announced.

He led Yun Lan out of the hall, leaving Lin Ruoli and Ya Su to manage the mundane details.

The Dragon was moving south. And the Snake Queen had no idea the predator was coming.
