Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 2036: Targeting consignment

Iron Bell City

As I’m walking along the footpath, I notice the shops running on both sides of the street. They have put up a poster outside.

They are following the new rule: buyers and sellers need to show their IDs. My eyes flash with surprise.

Out of curiosity, I look for a big magic store. Soon, I find one and walk up to the shop.

I enter inside and come across the staff immediately. There are only a few people inside.

The staff welcomes me inside. I tell him that I’m going to look around first. Hearing that, the staff nods his head.

Then I start viewing the glass shelves. Many antique pieces and other collections are placed inside the shelf. I use the system to check their information.

The results surprise me. Most of them are related to earth element magic.

I don’t know whether there is anything related to gravity-related magic, but I have long since stopped searching for gravity magic resources in magic stores. Gravity magic is sub-taboo magic.

It’s very rare. The related resources are hard to find in the Magic City, let alone in a magic shop in the outer city territory.

The staff continues to follow me for ten minutes. Then he leaves me alone. He doesn’t dare to be disrespectful. My Supreme Level Strength is not for show.

I have sensed another Supreme Wizard in the shop. He might be the manager or guardian of the shop. While I continue to observe, I reach the far end. There is a staircase that leads to the second floor.

I walk upstairs without further thought. I enter the second floor. Then I see two or three people on the floor looking over the collection.

I start going over one magic product after another. The second floor is different from the ground floor. The magic fruits are placed in special containers for display.

But they are only useful for low- to mid-level wizards. They haven’t placed high- and advanced-level resources on display.

Just then, I hear the conversation of the wizards at the other end. Their conversation piques my interest.

”We already lost four caravans to the bandits. This time our company increased security. The last consignment will come at midnight with higher security.”

”The bandits won’t be able to do anything,” a wizard is speaking to his friend.

Here, I raise my eyebrows. I knew something was wrong with the city, but it was not the direct plundering of magic shops like what happened in the previous city.

In this city, the consignments are being targeted. The city might be related to the Earth Magic Tower. To think someone has the guts to attack their business.

Why does it feel like the work of an unknown enemy? I raise my eyebrows. I decide to verify it with my own eyes. If an unknown enemy is plundering, then I can gather more evidence.

Then I approach the staff and inquire about the bloodline monster foods. I don’t know whether there are dedicated shops available for monster pets. The staff is not surprised.

They do sell monster foods as well. Most of the monsters consume meat. If they are higher-order monsters, then they consume the meat of other monsters.

I purchase several kilos for the crocodile monster. Then I purchase some food for the vine monster. After completing the purchase, I don’t leave the shop.

I continue to explore the magic products. After exploring the shop, I exit the place a few minutes later. Then I spend another two hours roaming the city.

Post noon

I return to the hotel. After coming back to the room, I bring the members outside. The room has a small space, but it is enough for them to sit on the sofa.

”Master, is this city safe?” Otto asks.

Patrick, Hank, and old man Rock look toward me. Hearing that, I let out a chuckle.

”No city is safe right now. The unknown enemy doesn’t lack manpower. Iron Bell City is being targeted by the enemy as well.” After saying that, I tell them about the threat faced by the transport company. Their consignments are being plundered.

”Master, why don’t we capture all of them?” Patrick asks.

”I have said this before: we lack information. I don’t know what the Mage Union is thinking. I bet they know about the current situation. It would be foolish to confront them right now,” I say.

No one speaks a word. They become quiet.

”I will take action tonight. Make sure you guys don’t go outside. The premium suite is booked by an important guest,” I say to them.

The four of them nod their heads.

Then I enter the Gregor Mansion to rest. I plan to release the Zero Puppet at midnight.

Time passes,

The eight enemy wizards are camping outside. They are waiting for midnight as well. Until then, they stop wandering near the city.

Midnight comes.

A massive transport aircraft carrying goods is traveling toward Iron Bell City. Inside the aircraft, there are powerful wizards ready to protect the aircraft and the goods. Among them, a Magic Lord is present as well.

The company had decided to hire a Lone Forbidden Wizard, but the price set by him was higher than the whole consignment. The company couldn’t afford to hire the Forbidden Wizard.

There are five Supreme Wizards and one Magic Lord. They are not ordinary wizards; they were hired from the wizard families connected to the Earth Magic Tower. So the company is confident in them.

The enemy has caused a huge loss to them. The enemy might not be afraid of the company, but they should be afraid of the wizard families connected to the Earth Magic Tower.

In the aircraft, Magic Lord Wesley summons the Supreme Wizards. He looks toward the wizards.

He says, ”We will be reaching Iron Bell City soon. However, the previous attacks took place midway. If the enemies are still there, then we will face an attack soon. So be ready,” he adds.
