Chapter 1609: Crossing the border!

From MC’s Perspective:

From time to time, I’m using the system to check the situation. If there is any one suspicious, the system would warn me.

Otto said that the Dark Faction has sent their team to inspect the border. If they arrive it would become troublesome for me.

Otto and Patrick are vigilant. Otto went outside earlier to check the situation.

Buzz!

”Someone started the ship,” I uttered.

Otto and Patrick’s eyes lit. They didn’t expect their old friend to be reliable till the end.

”Master, Brody has started the ship. Since he got the money. He decided to do the job first,” Otto said.

”If he can get back after dropping us, then he can still load the goods. It will save time for him,” Patrick said from the side.

My eyes glinted with understanding. It appears I was wrong earlier. These old Supreme Wizards have quite good friendships among them.

But I don’t find any characteristics to recruit old man Brody.

Swoosh!

The ship appears in mid air. The people outside and other ship owners are shocked. Because they could see that the brown ship was only half loaded.

It’s a loss for ship owner Brody. But they didn’t think further. It’s just small passing scenes for everyone. They didn’t think deeply.

If there is an urgent matter, they might do the same.

The brown ship then started moving in the air.

The ship owner Brody was the one piloting the ship. He wants to get back as soon as possible after dropping the customers. In this way he can earn more money.

Time goes by,

The brown ship reached the heavily guarded border 10 minutes later. There are 500ft border walls stretching endlessly. There are passes in between them to allow people’s movements on both sides.

Below, the border guards are actively patrolling the border. There are more wizards stationed at the passes to inspect the people.

Right now, there are many ships and flying vehicles crossing the border. But at least one Level-9 or Level-10 Wizard would do an inspection.

Brody is piloting on the same old route. Suddenly, he spotted a wizard clad in black uniform standing in front of the ship.

Brody stopped the airship and went outside to meet the wizard. The wizard clad in black cloth is responsible for inspection.

Before he could ask anything, Brody gave him a pouch containing mid grade mana stones. The wizard frowned. He knows that the person in front of him doesn’t belong to any powerful background.

So it’s already great for him to come up with the mid grade mana stones.

”You can leave,” he said.

”Thank you, lord,” Brody uttered before returning to the ship. The wizard clad in black uniform went to check other ships.

Brody was happy. He didn’t waste time and started driving the ship again.

Meanwhile,

Otto heard the conversation without using the spell and revealed the truth.

I felt huge pressure gone right away from his body. He understood that pressure was always there. But he failed to recognise it.

Now he is feeling relaxed a lot. Otto and Patrick failed to notice any change in the Master.

Swoosh!

The brown ship successfully flew over the border walls and entered the Volcanic Land Territory. It didn’t stop and continued to fly.

”Master, we crossed the border. Even if the Magic Lords come, they won’t dare to trespass here. ”

”Because the war is going on between the Dark Faction and White Faction, if they enter a neighbouring country. It will arouse suspicion,” Otto said.

”Ha....Ha...Ha..., we are safe,” Patrick said with a laugh.

Hearing that, I shook my head and said,”We are not safe until we get inside the Magic City.”

Hearing that both felt cold water poured on their heads.

They were naive just now.

”I’m sorry, master. We were just carried away,” Patric said.

”Good that you realised it,” I replied.

The last thing I wanted from them was to offend a big figure.

Swoosh!

The brown ship continues to fly. When it’s flying over the barren land. It stopped. Brody then entered the room and asked them where to drop.

I asked about their current location. Brody carefully explained.

They were well inside the Volcanic land. If they entered further, they might come across big volcanos and other dangerous terrain.

Then I stood up. Otto and Patrick stood up next. It immediately made the ship owner frown. He checked the place and found that the area was ordinary. There is no danger.

So he didn’t mind anything.

Then I left with Patrick and Otto. The ship owner resumed the journey. He still needed to deliver half loaded goods.

It didn’t take long for them to lose sight of the ship. When the brown ship was gone. I brought the Raven Aircraft outside.

Gasp!

Both of them recognised the beauty of aircraft. Their master is unfathomable.

”Let’s get inside the cabin,” I said to them before going inside the cabin. Patrick and Otto followed me from behind.

I entered the cock pit. While the 2 were resting on the sofa. Then I turned on the stealth mode and auto pilot mode.

The aircraft started cruising through the sky.

Meanwhile, the sudden increase in the speed of the aircraft stunned Patrick and Otto.

Time goes by,

The night time comes. But there is also a weird sound coming out of nowhere. I have decided to investigate.

I started asking several questions to the system. The system results show that there were no strong wizards nearby. Yet the sound is coming from nowhere.

Since I can’t find clues. I decided to stay put. If we don’t do anything, then we will reach the Magic City soon.

---

Meanwhile,

The Team from the Dark Faction have reached the border. The Magic Lords are leading the team. Upon their arrival, the border area became quiet.

The small-time thieves and other criminals slipper away. The Team started their work immediately. They have started from checking the flying vehicles.

The Magic Lords are scanning the entire market to look for suspicious people. Their method was direct and powerful. But they didn’t know the real culprit had already crossed the border.
