Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

General Wizard Market

Market Leader Kate was looking for the masked man. She sent patrol guards to tail the others, having already instructed them to keep an eye on their whereabouts.

There was no need to engage with them, whereas she was after the leader of the group, the masked man.

Meanwhile,

The old woman didn’t give her answer right away.

”I don’t know who you are.”

”Do you really think I can work under a Supreme Wizard?” the old woman questioned.

Hearing that, I was not surprised. She doesn’t know my background yet.

”Well, if you are interested, you can come to the big native tree outside later this evening. I will be with my team members then.” After saying that, I left the stall.

My expression was solemn. She is not a simple Magic Lord; she comes from a wizard family.

Her mental method must have been passed down from her family. She has a chance to become a Forbidden Wizard in the future.

It’s just that I had a way to verify it, but I didn’t do it earlier. If she was suspicious, she wouldn’t share information with me. If she is interested, she will come to see me later.

If I can recruit her, then the team size will grow. Though I suspect her magic is non-combatant, her current Magic Lord strength is enough to deal with current troubles.

Then I began to explore other stalls. It didn’t take long for Market Leader Kate to find the target. She saw the masked man standing in front of the gemstone shop. She didn’t approach him.

She continued to monitor from this distance. Her presence was attracting the attention of the stall owners, but she told them not to mind her.

She observed the place while also keeping an eye on the masked man. She wanted to know whether they were here to explore the market or to collect information.

[Ding! Host is being watched by a Supreme Wizard.]

On the other hand, I was observing the stones. It had been some time since I came across any relic. Just then, I heard the system voice in my mind.

Hearing that, I didn’t show any sudden reaction. I casually looked around and spotted the Market Leader. She was watching me. I ignored her and continued to look toward the gems.

If she didn’t spy, then I would have doubted the market. I used the system to scan the gemstones in the stall, but they were just magic gemstones. There was no relic among them.

My progress is happening steadily. But if I could get my hands on some relics, then I could push my growth forward.

I am the fastest in the Silver Tower to become a Wizard Seed, an Official Member, and a Supreme Wizard of the Silver Tower.

If I successfully become a Magic Lord, it will shatter the plans of many people. Then I walked away from the stall and began to explore other places.

....

Barrett Family

Holden Barrett was reading the report submitted by Butler Gideon. It was a report about Appraiser Frank and his team. They had visited each city to do business.

However, one incident after another had happened in those cities. The Flynn Family Head died in Blue Heart City.

Blue Heart City is a city that comes under the authority of the Water Magic Tower.

Then a robbery incident took place outside Iron Bell City. Iron Bell City comes under the authority of the Earth Magic Tower.

In both incidents, the presence of the team was recorded. The biggest one was in Rockwell City, where City Lord Robert was attacked by an enemy.

Appraiser Frank and his team didn’t check on the City Lord or the locals; they immediately left the place.

Holden Barrett’s eyes flashed with a twinkle.

”Vincent Carey, you are something else,” he said to himself.

He understood that Vincent Carey was using the appraiser team as a disguise to collect information, and no one could question it.

Because Appraiser Frank is a genuine appraiser. He had even met him once in person back on the Crystal City shop’s opening day.

They had also conducted appraisal events in two cities. No one could accuse them, including the Magic Towers. He now believed that Appraiser Frank and his team might have collected some information.

What was even more shocking? Supreme Wizard Vincent Carey didn’t even appear on the scene. Holden didn’t know where he was staying right now; his whereabouts couldn’t be traced.

Holden Barrett placed the report on the table. He stood up and walked up to the window. He opened the window and let the windy air brush against his face.

He had truly underestimated Supreme Wizard Vincent Carey. As others said, he was a genius of the White Silver Faction and the famous Sub-Taboo Wizard of the whole Silver Tower.

He guessed that even the Neutral and Dark Silver Factions might have received the reports. They might be equally surprised and shocked.

Though there are internal fights among the three factions, no one would go to such lengths to harm the interests of the Silver Tower.

Right now, he and Vincent Carey represent their factions. Similarly, there are other Supreme Wizards working in secret, though reports about them have not come to light.

Still, he thought that the faction elders might have seen them. They were not disclosing them yet, just like they were not disclosing the reports on Appraiser Frank.

He had collected these reports only because of his family; otherwise, he would have been kept in the dark. He realized he was lagging behind.

Despite having a wizard family’s support, he didn’t have such a team with him. He truly felt envious of Vincent Carey.

However, he gained inspiration as well. He had his own followers in the Silver Tower, and he decided to activate them. The family wouldn’t like it, as they believed the followers might leak information to their own families.

After reading the reports on Vincent Carey’s team, he removed all doubt. He was going to use the same method.

He then called Butler Gideon and told him about his plans. Butler Gideon agreed, feeling that the plan was good and that they should use every resource available to collect information.
