Iron Bell City

I booked an available room. It’s on the ground floor itself. After getting the key, I left the place. I found the room quickly.

I used the key to enter the room. I shut the door. My gaze swept across the room. It’s a small room. I used the system to check the room.

After confirming that there was no danger in the room, I didn’t sleep here. I entered the Gregor Mansion.

When I appeared, I saw the members were still awake. I told them everything was fine and that they could go back to their rooms.

Otto and the others nodded their heads. They believed that the Master had solved the problem.

They returned to their rooms. I looked at their backs. When they were gone, I went back to my room.

Meanwhile

Magic Lord Victor regained consciousness after some time. He recalled what had happened. He broke out into a cold sweat.

He didn’t know who attacked him. He then thought of the masked man. His eyes flashed with fear. He didn’t expect Appraiser Frank to have someone behind him.

That person must be a Magic Lord or a Forbidden Wizard. He doesn’t think the person is a Magic Lord, because he is a Magic Lord as well.

So, he thinks he was slapped by a Forbidden Wizard. He is glad that they didn’t take his life.

But Appraiser Frank might report to Wizard Vincent. The matter will reach the ears of Lord Charlotte and others. He had offended these people for no reason.

He decided to go back first. He will think of something after going back to the Silver Tower.

He will inform the seniors that a Forbidden Wizard is behind Appraiser Frank.

He doesn’t know whether the Forbidden Wizard is from the Silver Tower or outside. It’s necessary to inform the higher-ups.

Swoosh!

He left the place in a black aircraft. This scene was not witnessed by anyone.

The Next Morning

I woke up. I appeared back in the hotel room. Then, I started doing my morning routine. The routine lasted for one hour.

Next, I began to exercise. Not long after, I entered the system space to practise. I sat cross-legged on the blue grid floor.

I took the super-grade mana stones out and held them in my palm.

I closed my eyes and began to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method. The gravity mana from the mana stones entered my body.

The gravity mana from the surroundings entered my body. I guided the gravity mana as per the route mentioned in the method.

After circulation, the gravity mana entered the mana core space. The gravity mana core inside began to absorb the gravity mana.

Seeing that, I continued to repeat the process.

2 hours later,

I ended the practice. Then, I stood up and went to take a bath. I spent half an hour in the bath before coming out. Then, I changed into fresh clothes.

I wore a face mask and began to get ready.

One hour later,

I left the hotel to explore the city. The staff had said last night that premium seats were booked.

But he didn’t see anyone in the lobby. I’m walking on the footpath. Usually, I use members and a zero puppet to explore the city.

Yet this time, it was different. I wanted to investigate myself. I came across a good restaurant which was filled with the morning crowd.

I didn’t know whether seats were available or not. I decided to check it out. I walked into the shop. My gaze scanned the place.

The seats were almost filled, but I saw available tables as well. I went to one of the tables near the window and sat down.

Next, I began listening to the conversations of the people around me.

”The magic stores in our city have imposed strict restrictions on selling and purchasing products. It appears the city is prepared for something.”

”We should save mana stones as well. They are as important as the products.”

”Hmm, if products aren’t available, we will go to the remote territory.”

A group of three friends was discussing it.

On the other hand, I heard their conversation and raised my eyebrows. Things are changing quickly. Something is happening in each city.

The city must have faced something. Otherwise, the magic stores won’t resort to implementing strict rules.

Right then, the staff came to take my order. I ordered mashed potatoes, boiled eggs, and a cup of coffee.

The staff took the order and left.

Meanwhile

A group of suspicious-looking people is staying outside the city. They are keeping an eye on Iron Bell City.

The group of wizards is wearing different clothes, but all of them are in black and grey.

”Damn it!”

”We just plundered a few caravans on their way to the city, but I didn’t expect the city to impose strict rules,” a lean-physiqued wizard said.

”Hereafter, they will increase the security of the caravans,” another wizard said.

A total of eight wizards were here.

”We cannot wait here. We need more resources. Let’s target the caravans of other cities,” a broad-shouldered wizard said.

”We cannot say they will use caravans. They might use transport aircraft,” one of the female wizards said.

”Hmm, I heard there is one big consignment from the Magic City coming towards Iron Bell City. It should be our final target,” the lean-physiqued wizard said.

Hearing that, everyone quieted down. They decided to do the same. They will go to the next city after plundering resources.

Meanwhile

Inside the shop, I’m enjoying the mashed potatoes. I’m hearing their conversations as well, but they are discussing gossip. There is no useful information.

I spent 20 minutes there. After finishing the food, I went to pay the bill.

Shortly afterwards,

I exited the shop and began walking along the footpath. While walking, I’m paying attention to the people around me.

I’m checking their profiles with the system function. Just like the members had guessed, the city has Earth Element Wizards.

The magic spells in their inventory are not ordinary. They are strong and can be used in long-range battles.
