Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

Great Bamboo City,

The Guard felt something wrong. When he turned around and saw that young man was missing. His eyes turned cold. He quickly informed others and began to search.

According to the City Administration, the suspicious people needed to be apprehended. The Nova Stead City had faced a problem.

The officials here are serious about the security here. In the blink of an eye, the other patrol guards rushed to the spot. They started looking for the missing suspect.

On the other hand, I’m inside the Gregor Mansion safe and secure. I’m going to follow my plan. I will move out at midnight to collect information.

If I can’t get information, then I’ll capture someone and use the curse on them to make them obedient. My mouth curves into thinking about it.

Time goes by,

The patrol guards failed in their search. They think that suspect could have escaped into the city. He could be hiding anywhere in their city right now.

The patrol guards reported to the officials. The officials took note of it. When they asked about the suspect strength. The patrol guards are clueless. They realised that they didn’t verify it.

But the officials didn’t mind it. They didn’t take the missing suspect seriously. If it really was someone from the white faction they don’t think the person would be weak. It would definitely be a specialised wizard.

He won’t get caught by their patrol guards at the front gate.

Time goes by,

The midnight comes. I appeared at the right time outside. I doubt the news would have made a splash. So I started walking casually on the foot path.

I’m wearing different clothes this time. Just as I walked out of the alley. I noticed that most of the shops are closed right now.

There are middle men in gangs standing outside the closed shop. They are having discussions among themselves. I immediately used the system probe function.

The system results surprised me. They are between level-7 to Level-8 Wizards. They are awakened magic related to the Dark elements.

What more? They appeared to be locals as well. I decided to strike up a conversation with them. So I started approaching them.

The group of six men are chatting and laughing. They quickly noticed that someone was coming in their direction. But they ignored it and continued with their conversation.

A minute later,

Then they noticed the person coming towards them. He is not walking past them.

I arrived in front of the six Wizards. From their magic and clothing. I doubt they belong to some large force.

“Hi, my name is Trevor. I’m looking for a night shift job. Do you guys know anything about it?” I asked them.

The six middle aged men are taken aback. They all looked at each other. The six middle aged men are friends. They actually do illegal jobs.

Especially the organ harvesting of the wizards. They didn’t have someone to bump into them. They could guess that the young person must be an outsider.

How come locals would approach them?

A scar faced middle aged man said,”What a surprise? We friends do night jobs as well.”

“Friend Trevor, if you come with us. We can introduce you to our boss. You may get a job right away,” he added.

Hearing that other five men started speaking positively as well. But they are thinking internally that they have found a fat ship.

On the other hand, I sighed inwardly. I could guess that they have bad intentions. But my goal is to collect intel.

“Ha…Ha…Ha…, thank you brothers. I never thought I could meet you guys. I was worried for nothing,” I said to them.

Then the six men started taking me to their company.

On the way, I asked about their boss. Their boss turned out to be a level-9 Wizard. At the same time, they started asking about me.

I lied to them that I have to come to this city to find a job.

Slowly, these people let down their guard as well. So far they haven’t tried to probe my strength. Once it is done it will be over. I could only kill them.

Before anything like that can happen. I started asking about the city and forces here. The six middled aged men looked at me doubtfully.

Then I told them that I need to know whom I should not offend. Then the six middle aged men understood. They realised that the young man was trying to be clever.

But he didn’t know that his organs would be harvested soon. They have decided to answer him anyway. So they started speaking about the different forces in their Great Bamboo City.

As the time passes, they are taking me through series of detours. I guess that city is vast. I didn’t explore Nova Stead City. But I guess that city was big as well.

But I found out some interesting information. The old man back then told me that the City used to be neutral. But the situation of the forces here is uncertain.

These people are saying that their boss belongs to the Dark Faction.

They are also proud of the Dark Faction. But they don’t know that I have come here to hunt down the Dark Faction’s people.

Initially, I intended to collect only intel. But these people seem to be doing illegal activities.

Since they are from Dark Faction. By eliminating them, I would be doing something good.

The six middle aged men finally noticed something. The scar faced middle aged was the first one to speak.

“I can’t see through his strength,” he said. His tone contained a hint of panic.

Hearing that others did their own probing. They are scared as well.

What’s the situation? Why are they not able to find out the young man’s strength? If it’s level-8 or lower than that they would have known.

Right now, the level-8 Scar Faced Man was unable to see through the young man’s strength.

That means the young man is stronger than a level-8 Wizard. This realization poured cold water on them. They don’t have courage to flee.

I noticed their reaction as well. I guess they have figured it out. But I still want to visit their company.
