From MC’s Perspective:

After getting ready, I left my room. When I walked out of the dormitory. I see wizard students roaming outside.

Without paying attention to them. I started walking towards the transport facility. While walking on, I came across wizard students who were going about their business.

As we meet each other in cross roads, they seem to recognise me.

“Hey, is that Vincent Carey?”

“What is he doing here?”

“It’s him. He has his final duel today.”

The wizard students stood there and started talking with each other. But none of them had courage to approach me.

After ignoring them, I continued to walk towards the faculty. When I got there. The staff there already recognised me.

“Vincent Carey!”

After nodding at them, I continued walking towards the area where the fast aircraft are stationed.

Just as I’m walking, a silhouette appeared in front of me. This time I wasn’t even surprised. I’m almost used to it.

“Vice-dean,” I greeted her.

Brittany Atkins smiled before saying,”You had a big day today. Let’s go to the arena”

Then we entered the super fast aircraft. Which is in black color with state of art design.

Boom!

The aircraft then starts to rise from the ground. When it appeared in mid air. The aircraft starts flying towards the capital.

A few minutes later,

The aircraft enters the Capital. Slowly, the aircraft lands near the duel arena. When I stepped outside of the aircraft.

She again grabbed my shoulder. Before I knew it she started taking me towards the arena building entrance.

After dropping me, she disappeared from the spot.

I glanced around the surroundings before entering inside the building. While walking, I couldn’t help but sigh.

Earlier, there was so much hype about the Wizard Heart Competition. Now it has reached his end. All those stories and rumors about the Weapon Palace Academy and Royal Force Hall Academy have become jokes.

Their Wizard Students are strong. But they are not strong enough to defeat me and Mike Curtis. I couldn’t help but wonder if all those who participated in the competition were the strongest ones.

If it’s true then I can safely say, there is no rival in the same stage in this country.

By that time I had already reached the doors of the A block room. Then I walked inside. I saw there are not many people except Lin and Luxor.

After seeing me, they simply nodded at me. I smiled in response before walking towards my seat.

Sitting down, I closed my eyes and started going through my plans. I haven’t had any duels against Mike before.

But from video footage, I can understand that his shadow magic has little weakness. Especially when he transforms into shadow, hardly any other element affects his form.

Which means unless he returns to the physical form. He can’t be defeated easily. Whether my gravity magic works or not. I can only test it on a platform.

Time passed by,

Slowly, the wizard students started coming in one after another. The council elders also started coming in.

All of them are chilled and relaxed. They are not worried about the duel results. It doesn’t matter whether it’s Mike or Vincent. Their academy is the one who is going to win in the end.

When Jennie and Miranda came. They looked towards Vincent Carey before sitting down on their seats.

They were once competing against Vincent during the internal competition. Now seeing him fighting in the final round, they got mixed emotions.

What’s more amazing is that. No one saw the bottom line of Vincent Carey. It’s the same case with Mike Curtis as well.

As long as both have mana, they seemed to be scary on the duel platform.

Finally, Mike Curtis walked in a few minutes left before the competition. But there was no happiness on his face.

Rather he looks frosty and cold. He then returned to his seat and didn’t even look at Vincent Carey. Which seems to be odd.

Everyone knows Mike Curtis only talks to Vincent Carey. He never paid attention to others. This behavior pissed off everyone.

Because of their Taboo Hall, they have kept their mouths shut.

Now they couldn’t help but gossip. Even the Council Elders are surprised.

The other hand, Mike Curtis’ changes didn’t go unnoticed under my eyes.

“He is acting weird today,” I said in my heart. Then I waited for the announcer to come.

Outside,

The crowd starts to fill the spectator area. This time a large number of people came early. They can’t wait to watch the finals.

Surprisingly, the B and C Block Gallery rooms are empty. The Royal Force Hall Wizard and the Weapon Palace Wizard didn’t come.

They didn’t have any face to be here.

Outside,

Vice-Dean Brittany Atkins also watched from the roof of one of the towering buildings. Not far away from here, the crippled old man is also present.

He doesn’t want any variables to appear like the dying dark lord. A dark lord can easily destroy a city like the Capital. So he is paying attention to the surroundings.

Inside the Dean Majestic Tower, the old man dean is also tuned into the live stream.

“That kid has reached the finals. Like everyone has expected,” Hie eyes flickered.

But what everyone didn’t expect was that Mike Curtis would fight against Vincent Carey. This was the twist he himself didn’t expected.

He even suspected that the Weapon Palace and Royal Force Hall hadn’t sent their strongest team. But on the other hand, he knows the importance of the Wizard Heart Competition.

The winner will get an expensive prize. Apart from that, a huge opportunity awaits them after the competition.

From his connection, he has gathered some intel. If It happened, then it will be a huge achievement for the academy and the country.

Meanwhile, freeweɓnovel.cøm

Carolina Slate and Gilbert Reese also watched the live stream from their respective places.

Even the bedridden Elder Galvin also woke to watch the live stream.

Duel Platform:

The announcer walked in. Seeing the crowd is causing a lot of noise. He couldn’t help but rub his ears for a moment.

“Everyone, welcome to watch the final duel. The winner of the duel will be the Title holder of the level-5 wizard battle.”

“The winner of the duel will also receive the Heart of Medium Tree as the final prize.”

“Now, let’s welcome both of the participants to the duel platform,” The announcer said.

Hearing that crowd erupted with an uproar. The noise itself is causing booming sound. Because of the high tech gadgets. Those noises are reduced.

Inside the A Block Gallery room:

I stood up and started leaving. When I walked out. I saw someone waiting outside. The person is none other than Stella Glover.

“Hey, what are you doing here?” I asked.

Stella Glover smiled and said,”All the best for your duels. I didn’t expect you to reach the finals this easily.”

Hearing that, I replied,”Thanks.”

At the same time, Mike Curtis walked out. He glanced at Vincent and Stella Glover before walking towards the duel platform.

“He seems a bit odd today. He is careful,” Stella said.

“Don’t worry,” After saying that I left the place.

Soon, I reached the platform. Mike Curtis is already there standing on the right side of the platform.

After walking inside, I stood opposite him.

The barrier starts to envelop the platform.

The other hand, I started observing Mike Curtis.

[Ding! Warning]

[Malicious intent detected from the opponent.]

The mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that my expression changes drastically.

The next second, I looked at him with a serious gaze.

Mike Curtis is having a cold look on his face. Before coming here, his teacher reminded him once again.

So he has decided to complete the Teacher’s task. He will target the vital parts of Vincent Carey. At worst, he will suffer serious injuries.

Which is enough to make him bedridden for a long time.

When the barrier enveloped completely.

Swoosh!

Mike Curtis cast his magic spell. The next second, he transformed himself into the shadows and started moving towards Vincent Carey on the ground.

“Gravity Field”

I cast the magic spell in response as well. The next second, a powerful gravitational force appeared. It immediately applied on the platform.

Boom!

The platform tiles are under intense pressure. If the pressure continues the platform will crack.

My gaze didn’t leave the ground. Where I saw the black shadow stagnate for a moment before moving towards me.

Seeing that my eyes flickered. If the Gravity Field was not working, then I should use a different spell.

So I canceled the spell before casting a new spell.

“Repulsive Force”

The next second, a repulsive force released from my body. The force starts to spread around in the blink of an eye.

When it comes in contact with black moving shadow. The Shadow again stagnated for a moment.

Seeing that I thought Mike Curtis was caught. But to my surprise, The Shadow started approaching me again.
