Global Gods: Start with a lottery system

Chapter 120 Farewell and VictoryA thousand meters in the sky, two divine cities were suspended, and Han Tutor, wearing a half mask, and a short middle-aged man were facing each other in the air.

However, Han Tutor’s shoulder was facing the middle-aged man’s head.

”Han Yelin, did you tell the students the secret of the volcanic island directly? This is a bit against the rules.”

He didn’t expect these little guys to be so blatant. Han Tutor’s face was a little uncomfortable, but he still replied: ”I just made a prediction about their strength, but I didn’t expect that I underestimated them and didn’t directly tell them the secret of the volcanic island.”

The middle-aged man’s face was a little gloomy, but he still maintained his basic self-restraint.

No wonder he was a little depressed. Why has the credits of the First Military University and the Element Academy been similar for so many years, but the Element Academy has always had the upper hand.

But this time...

On the credit ranking list projected on their holographic watches, Xu Yi’s team of four was far ahead, with a score of 27 points. When they opened the route map, they found that they had only cleared seven islands, including one initial island, one ordinary second-level island, three second-level volcanic islands, and two third-level volcanic islands.

Ranked second was Zhang Fenghuo and Tuo Luhong’s team. They had leveled ten islands, including the initial island, four second-level ordinary islands, three third-level ordinary islands, one third-level volcanic island, and one second-level volcanic island. The score was 23 points.

The reason for the two points was that the infantry team, which was far away from them, was still filling the crater of the last second-level volcanic island...

Ranked third was Luo Hongmo’s team. Their speed was slightly faster than Xu Yi’s. They cleared eight islands, but the quality of the islands was far worse. They cleared one initial island, three second-level ordinary second-level islands, three ordinary third-level islands, and one third-level volcanic island. The total score was only 16 points.

The number of credits for the teams ranked lower was uneven. Many teams from the First Element Academy had already stopped because they underestimated the enemy at the beginning, and some students from the First Military University also stopped moving forward because their strength was too damaged.

Overall, the average score of these mid- and lower-level teams is still in the First Military University’s advantage.

What’s more, this time there is a freak team like Xu Yi. For example, the team of Zhang Fenghuo and Tuo Luhong is at the level of strength that the normal military university ranked first in previous years.

This led to the First Military University’s crushing of all credits this year, while in previous years, the First Military University had the advantage at the beginning, but in the end, the First Element Academy always won with a slight advantage in average credits.

But this year it seems impossible...

No wonder the short counselor had a gloomy face. He had not been in charge of the first-ranked class of the Element Academy for a long time. He thought that this assessment was stable, but he didn’t expect such a mistake.

”Hmph, I hope you don’t suffer the consequences of your actions.”

”Then Mr. Luo won’t bother.”

...

Not to mention the two floating divine cities in the sky, the flesh and blood butchers are building simple wooden houses for rest. After more than 20 days of raiding seven islands, even the blood machine clan with amazing endurance seems a little tired.

In fact, their speed is already very fast. Unlike Zhang Fenghuo and Luo Hongmo’s two teams, Xu Yi and his four people have filled at least three more active volcanic craters. Their speed is actually even faster.

Zhang Fenghuo and Luo Hongmo’s two teams also stopped and began to rest. For a while, the top three scores on the leaderboard did not change.

The rankings at the bottom are even more stagnant. There are occasional changes or some teams deviate from the route, but they are not deviating to high-level islands, but simply start to clean up low-level islands, at least to get the credits they can get.

As for the original route, if they continued to go on, they would probably have to fight to the death, and then they would really lose all the credits. In this case, why not take what they can first?

So a very interesting phenomenon occurred in the middle and outer parts of the archipelago. Several teams crossed multiple second-level islands and even hit the routes of other teams, but they were completely unaware of it because there were no other team’s route markings.

Among them, the second-level volcanic islands were the most popular. The monsters on this kind of volcanic island were almost the same strength as those on ordinary third-level islands, and the destroyed craters could even get one more credit than ordinary third-level islands.

The teams that were blocked outside the third-level volcanic islands and could not enter anymore started to fight with each other, and the middle and outer parts of the entire archipelago were in chaos.

However, these had nothing to do with the strong teams that could break through the third-level volcanic islands. After breaking through this circle of barriers, they entered the inner circle of the archipelago, and of course the intensity of the battle here was also higher.

In the following year, the families of several people suffered losses. Zheng Guihao lost thirteen cursed spirits; Ren Yayi lost seven toad archers; Du Yuanfei lost a dead wood guard and three elf rangers; Xu Yi lost the undead meat shield Hoshgris.

As Xu Yi’s combat intensity continued to increase, Hoshgris’s own defense became less and less able to keep up.

Without him realizing it, in fact, the combat capability of an ordinary third-level flesh and blood butcher was stronger than this second-level elite unit.

When this meat shield was killed by the second-level smoke skull group’s concentrated fire, he was still a little stunned, but then he was relieved.

He still remembered the last moment of the battle with the orc captain whose full name was Hoshgris Frog Blood. This meat shield fled with wounds all over his body and escaped for a full six kilometers!

Knowing that there was no hope of escape, he still activated his specialty again and again to run forward, and the calm look in his eyes before he finally fell to the ground.

Xu Yi was touched at that time, but he didn’t investigate further. The God’s Domain was in ruins and needed to be rebuilt. It was the time to improve the combat power. He took a picture of the scroll of [Resurrection of the Dead] without hesitation.

But now, he has some understanding. What Hoshgris pursued was freedom, right?

But he fell on the road of pursuit after all...

Perhaps, he has now obtained something that he could never get in his native world.

Xu Yi sealed his body with a card and prepared to take it back to the Wasteland God’s Domain for burial. Can he have peace when he becomes a dead soul?

I hope he likes it.

...

It took more than a year for the four-man team to reach the end of the route map with almost the highest return. There are still two islands away from the fifth-level island in the center, and here, they are about to face the fourth-level volcanic island!

Along the way, several people have never landed on a fourth-level ordinary island. The reason is very simple. The fourth-level ordinary island is two credits lower than the third-level volcanic island.

On the ranking list, the number of credits for the top few teams has been completely separated.

First place (Xu Yi team): 161 points

Second place (Luo Hongmo team): 122 points

Third place (Zhang Fenghuo team): 115 points
