Chapter 420: 420 Coldness

Airi opened her eyes in bed.

It was the dark dawn, before the sun had fully risen. It was the time Airi always woke up.

Rising quietly so as not to wake the other sleeping members, Airi moved toward the door to leave the room.

‘…?’

Unlike usual, Airi felt a slight presence in the room and reflexively turned her head.

Rin was lying in bed with her eyes open, staring at her.

‘Eek!’

Airi let out a small shriek and plopped down on the spot.

‘Ah… sorry. Did I startle you?’

‘D-did I wake you up? Sorry…’

‘No, it’s fine. I was just awake because I couldn’t sleep.’

Rin gave a small sigh and sat up in bed.

Airi felt that Rin’s state was somewhat different from usual.

‘Are you feeling unwell?’

‘…No, it’s nothing! I’ll be down soon too.’

After letting Airi out first, Rin got out of bed a moment later.

It wasn’t that she felt bad; the problem was that she felt too good.

Rin hadn’t slept a wink all night because she couldn’t catch any rest. She had spent time in the lounge until dawn, then lay in bed thinking she might fall asleep, but it had no effect at all.

Strangely, however, she wasn’t tired. Rather, she felt as overflowing with energy as if she had slept soundly.

Was it because she hadn’t adapted to this strange feeling yet?

Rin felt a hot vitality blooming within her body as she stepped out of the room.

＊ ＊ ＊

Leaving the room and heading down the stairs, Rin went to the bathroom first.

‘Haah…. I’m really not getting used to this.’

Splashing cold water over her body, Rin lightly stroked the strange tattoo that had appeared on her belly with her hand.

As if responding to it, the tattoo emitted a faint, soft glow.

The strange tattoo had appeared on her body after she had done that ‘special training’ with Ian not too long ago.

The mysterious, intense heat seemed to bloom from this very spot.

According to Ian, this was the source of power that would make her stronger.

No matter how she looked at it, the appearance was suspicious. First of all, so was the method of obtaining it…

Seeing how Ian avoided detailed explanations even when asked, it was definitely a suspicious object that was hard to talk about.

…In the first place, since it was created by doing those things, there was no way it was a proper method.

Since she was the one who first said she didn’t care what the method was as long as she got stronger, Rin didn’t have much to say herself.

Just how did Ian know such strange knowledge that no one else knew…?

That curiosity always lingered, but she hadn’t gone out of her way to investigate its source until now.

She figured nothing good would come of secretly investigating something he was hiding.

Senior members like Frey also said that there was no mercenary without circumstances, large or small, so it was best not to worry about such things unless they caused harm.

Well, since he had been a bit of a strange person from the first time they met, she didn’t mind that now.

If he had felt like an untrustworthy person, she wouldn’t have been able to stay in this mercenary group for this long in the first place.

Rin scooped up water from the tub once more and doused herself with the cold liquid.

Her body was strangely hot.

It was quite cold water, but no matter how much she poured, the heat inside her body wouldn’t subside. Rather, it felt like her body was heating up even more.

…Well, because the heat wasn’t actually a physical fever. There was no way it would subside with something like this.

Was it thanks to spending some time in this state? She felt like she was beginning to understand the true nature of this heat.

‘Ngh, ah…’

Rin eventually could no longer bear the urge and brought her fingers between her legs.

That place was wet to a degree that surprised even Rin herself.

＊ ＊ ＊

Someone knocked on the door of Ian’s office.

When Ian’s permission to enter was given, the door opened quietly. Rin’s face was partially visible through the open door.

‘Rin? What’s the matter?’

Instead of coming in right away, Rin looked around the hallway, and only after confirming no one was nearby did she step inside.

Approaching with a flushed face, Rin stated her business as if complaining to Ian.

‘Something is wrong with my body!’

‘Something’s wrong? Where?’

‘That, well…’

Rin hesitated, unable to readily answer Ian’s question.

Bringing up this kind of story in the middle of the day was a bit much, but… it was quite an important issue.

After a moment’s thought, Rin finally confessed the problem to Ian.

‘With masturbation… I can’t find any release at all…’

‘What?’

‘It doesn’t feel good at all when I do it by myself!’

Rin, who had been masturbating alone in the bath, realized the problem too late. She couldn’t be satisfied no matter how much she did it alone.

To be more precise, she could finish as usual. It was just that she couldn’t be satisfied with that alone.

After masturbating alone in the bath for a long time, Rin realized she couldn’t solve the problem this way and sought out Ian.

‘…I’m not sure about that either?’

‘What do you mean you don’t know, Leader!’

Ian had checked all the issues he could consider, but he couldn’t have grasped such detailed problems in daily life beforehand.

Unable to be satisfied alone…

He suspected it was a problem with the [Lewdness] trait that had appeared recently. There was no function in the [Mark of Corruption] that increased sexual desire.

So, in other words… rather than a side effect of the mark, it was simply that her sexual desire itself had grown larger.

‘…Anyway!’

Rin said with a flushed face.

Though she had come to see Ian, Rin could have guessed that there was no way to change this. If he could have done that, he would have done it from the start.

Rin had a different purpose for visiting Ian.

It was because as her body adapted to this, she instinctively realized how she had to resolve it.

Approaching Ian who was sitting at the desk, Rin reached for his pants.

‘Wait, we agreed not to do this during work hours!’

‘What are you saying after making me like this…. Take responsibility!’

Rin recklessly pulled down Ian’s pants and pulled his cock out.

Upon seeing that member, she felt a thumping emotion in her chest.

I see.

Could this be… love?

When she kissed it with a fluttering heart, Ian’s member became hard in an instant.

‘For someone saying no, this part is quite honest, isn’t it?’

‘This is an unavoidable reaction…’

‘Then let’s just say we both couldn’t help it…!’

Saying that, Rin bowed her head and took Ian’s member into her mouth. That alone felt like it slightly calmed the heat inside her body.

In the place where the heat subsided, a faint sense of satisfaction filled up.

I knew it was this…

Rin’s tongue licked and stimulated Ian’s member here and there.

Ian also seemed to think he couldn’t stop Rin now that things had come this far, so he eventually gave a wry smile and slowly stroked Rin’s head.

-Creak.

At that moment, a presence was felt outside the room.

Ian and Rin, who felt it almost simultaneously, urgently met each other’s eyes.

The sound of a knock on the door.

Soon after, a voice looking for Ian was heard from outside.

‘Leader? Do you have a moment right now?’

‘…Yes, come in.’

Elena, who entered, tilted her head with a puzzled expression.

‘Oh… weren’t you just talking with someone?’

‘…No.’

Was it a mistake?

Though she felt a slight doubt, Elena let it go without much suspicion.

‘….’

Rin, hiding under the desk, peeked up at Ian.

She had reflexively hidden when someone came, but fortunately, it seemed she hadn’t been caught.

…Actually, since she hadn’t been caught in the act, she could have just told the person to wait a moment outside and finished up. But because someone visited suddenly in the middle of it, she had reflexively hidden.

Fortunately, Elena didn’t notice at all that Rin was hiding and began to talk naturally.

‘The truth is, an invitation to a gathering came, and I want to take Airi with me. I thought I should get your permission first, Leader…’

Ian, who had hidden Rin under the desk, was conversing with Elena as if nothing were wrong.

Because she had hidden in a hurry, Ian hadn’t even been able to pull his pants up yet.

Since his lower body was hidden from Elena by the desk, he wouldn’t be caught, but from under the desk, it was quite a disheveled state.

Ian’s member, still in an enlarged state, was right before Rin’s eyes.

‘…’

Rin reflexively reached out her tongue toward it.

‘Ugh…’

‘…?’

When Ian suddenly flinched, Elena asked Ian with a curious expression.

‘Are you alright?’

‘That’s… I think I have a bit of a cold…’

‘Oh dear. There have been many cold patients lately. Haven’t you been overdoing it too much? Louise specializes in that kind of medicine. If you’re busy, I’ll go get some for you.’

Rin’s tongue quietly licked Ian’s cock.

Rin’s soft tongue, sliding noiselessly, created a sensation so pleasurable it made his body tremble.

Ian’s hand gripped Rin’s head under the desk, but he couldn’t move too conspicuously with Elena in front of him. He couldn’t stop Rin’s actions to that extent.

‘It’s not that bad. Thank you.’

‘No, even if it seems okay, people often don’t realize it themselves.’

Ian answered calmly, but to Elena, his state looked unwell.

Elena, who had been standing a bit away, moved closer to Ian.

‘Excuse me for a moment…’

Saying that, Elena stepped closer and placed her hand on Ian’s forehead from across the desk.

Elena’s hand was very cold.

Simultaneously with the chilly sensation from that cold body temperature, a spine-tingling pleasure surged from where Rin’s soft lips touched him below.

Ian reflexively gripped and pressed down on Rin’s head under the desk. A hot, sticky liquid poured into the back of Rin’s throat as she swallowed Ian’s member deep.

Rin swallowed it noiselessly and quietly trembled.

Simultaneously with Ian’s ejaculation, Rin also felt something hot surging from her lower abdomen. It felt like she had peaked slightly just from swallowing Ian’s seed.

Just how frustrated had she been… Rin thought so herself.

‘It seems you have a bit of a fever? You really should take some medicine. If you wait, I’ll go get some for you.’

‘…Thank you.’

Saying that, Elena gave a kind smile, turned around, closed the door, and left.

A long time after the door closed, Ian let out a sigh, looked under the desk, and spoke.

‘I told you no.’

‘But you liked it. This much came out.’

Rin chuckled from under the desk.
