Chapter 2138: A Bet (2)

Sylasʼ eyes flickered.

He honestly didnʼt expect the Duchess to make that sort of mistake, but then he recalled just how innocent and naive she was. One wouldnʼt expect that a demoness would be a virgin at whatever age she happened to be now, and it also had to be remembered that there was a deluge of memories her main body probably had that her current one did not.

Sylas had made it so that she recalled the memories from their previous interactions, but he could only do this with the versions of her that he had met. That meant that the only built-in memories the Duchess had were limited to what naivete she was birthed into this world with, and the memories she had with Sylas.

Of course, her battle instinct was also off the charts. But between her fury and Cassaraeʼs careful planning…

Sylas nodded to himself, and he almost smiled. He felt an odd budding pride he couldnʼt quite explain.

Cassarae had lulled the Duchess into a false sense of security. Their battle had already gone on for a quarter of a day or so.

Neither of them had even used any skills, it was just a straightforward, wild exchange of combat moves between a sword and close quarters mixed martial arts. After so many hours of straightforward combat, Cassarae flipped the script, making it look like she slipped up and then suddenly grasping an advantage.

Sylas had just had the thought that this battle would go on for a while, only for the sudden shift to take place. Cassarae had caught even him off guard, let alone the Duchess.

Was that maybe because he was too busy watching how beautiful his wife and concubine were? Maybe. But that was beside the point. He was still proud.

Cassaraeʼs sword twitched and the frozen body of the Duchess convulsed, but she didnʼt let out a single peep.

”Prideful.” Cassarae said slowly, licking her lips a bit. Her eyes seemed to have shifted from battle lust to a completely different sort of lust. But that wasnʼt because she was attracted to women, it was because someone like the Duchess being taken down by Sylas was practically the pinnacle of her fantasy.

She could barely stop the heat radiating off of her.

The Duchess stared forward at Cassarae who had already regained her composure.

”Now. Are you going to keep to your word, or am I going to have to make you? Itʼs a lot less sexy if you have a gash running through your body. If you donʼt cooperate, Iʼll just have to kill you and fuck my husband mys—.”

”Thatʼs enough.” the Duchess said coldly. ”Whatever inelegant, unladylike fantasies you have…” her voice trailed off for a moment as though she couldnʼt figure out how to continue. ”… just do your worst. I do not care. You will not shake me.”

Cassarae pulled her sword back with a cheery smile.

Quite quickly, the wound of the Duchess stitched up until there was nothing but the blood remaining.

Cassarae clicked her tongue. ”Now that wonʼt do, now will it? Sylas Brown! Make yourself useful! Send us back!”

The Duchessʼ lip twitched. Should you really speak to your husband like that? Where was the respect? How could a man like Sylas tolerate such a thing?

Sylas snapped his fingers and they all vanished.

…

Sylas lay back on a bed, his head shaking. His hands were clasped behind the back of his head, his eyes focused on the ceiling. He didnʼt know what sort of nonsense he had gotten himself caught up in.

Even he wasnʼt spared from Cassaraeʼs fantasies, it seemed. She had forced him to strip down to his boxers and wait here. By now, she had already been in the bathroom with the Duchess for yet another hour.

Just as his thoughts were about to continue to wander, the door cracked open and steam rushed out from the bathhouse.

Sylasʼ eyes shifted from the ceiling forward, and they couldnʼt help but narrow.

Cassarae walked out in a silky silver-blue robe, her hair done up in an empress-like bun with what looked like marble-carved needles holding it together. His gaze caught sight of every shift and line of her silhouette, the flexible fabric hardly holding anything together, and hardly hiding anything for that matter.

She hadnʼt tied its ropes together very strongly at all, a deep ravine swaying in silky fabrics down to the very belly button. And beneath the loose tie of the rope, the short robes that only went to her upper thighs swayed open as well, revealing just the slightest strip of beautiful, well-trimmed and maintained hair with every step she took.

Sylas couldnʼt seem to take his eyes off of her, which was why he almost didnʼt notice the woman on all fours following in behind her. No, she wasnʼt on all fours, her arms were just tied up and pinned to her back. She was crawling forward on her knees because even her ankles were locked together.

It would have been a feat of strength for a mortal to pull this off, but perhaps it wasnʼt so difficult for the likes of the Duchess.

With a bright smile on her face, Cassarae made her way to the edge of the bed, pulling on a rope tied to the Duchessʼ neck and pulling Sylas himself up from his lying position.

She made the Duchess lay her cheeks on Sylasʼ inner thighs and then she bent down and gave Sylas a kiss, her breasts swaying in front of his face for a moment.

Sylasʼ hand slipped up the back of her leg, touching the soft curve of the bottom of her ass. But before he could go any further up, Cassarae caught his hand.

”Donʼt even think about it, sir.” she bent forward, whispering into his ear. ”You want me? Then make me want you.”

She kissed his earlobe softly, then his neck. She slipped the rope that held the Duchessʼ collar into his palm, gliding her other hand across his crotch until a raging heat and solid rod was all that was left of him.
