Fucked Raw By My Enemies

Ivy’s pov

”What’s the punishment for murder again?”

The concealer brush trembled in my hand, hovering beneath my left eye where the skin was puffy and red from hours of crying.

It disgusted me how much the woman in the mirror looked broken.

Last night replayed in vicious flashes in my head. Angel’s spit hitting my face, his fingers digging into my jaw.

The fool had gotten Pamela pregnant.

Was that why she had given me those tickets? She said she had finally gotten a date that night, I didn’t know it was my bloody husband.

The memory surged up my throat like bile, the rage boiling under my ribs.

I threw the brush down, watched it skitter across the counter, knocking over a bottle of foundation. I didn’t care.

I didn’t fucking care about the mess, about the stains, about any of it. I was going to the starlight ball for goodness sake, for the first time. I was not going to let Angel ruin this for me.

”I will have the time of my life,” I hissed to my reflection. ”I will drink all the freaking champagne and dance until my feet bleed, and I will forget that you exist, you miserable piece of shit.”

He wasn’t worth an ounce of my time or my thoughts. I reached for the contact lens case and slipped on my brown contacts. It sucked that I had cut my hair, wearing a bob to a gala just felt weird, but it didn’t matter.

I pushed away from the vanity and walked into the closet, reaching for the midnight-blue silk dress.

A flash of Roman’s cologne filled my nose and suddenly I was back in his room, feeling his hands on my bare back, his breath hot against my neck.

My fingers traced the plunging neckline, the open back that dipped to the dimples above my ass.

Fine, Angel thought he could humiliate me, impregnate his mistress in our home and shove me to the floor like trash?

Fuck him.

I stepped into the dress, sliding the silk up my legs, over my hips, letting it pool at my waist while I reached for the straps.

A bright smile curved my lips. Was it wrong if I didn’t wear panties tonight? I was feeling quite dangerous and mischievous.

I stepped into a pair of silver heels, checked my reflection one last time, grabbed a small clutch and strode out of the bedroom.

”Where the hell do you think you’re going?”

Angel’s irritable voice halted my neck footstep just as I reached the elevator. I didn’t turn around but could see him in the reflection of the chrome doors.

The bastard had some fucking nerve talking to me. I jammed my finger on the button to open the elevator.

”Harper.” He stalked closer, his shadow falling over me. ”I asked you a question.”

The elevator dinged open and I stepped inside, turning around slowly, meeting his eyes for the first time since he had shoved me to the ground. My face was schooled into a blank mask.

”Out,”

His gaze dropped, taking in the dress.

”You’re not going out like that,” he sputtered. ”You look like a-”

”Like what, Angel?” I tilted my head as the elevator doors began closing. ”Like a barren frigid bitch that you don’t want?”

His face turned purple. ”Get back inside. Now.”

The elevator doors slid shut on his stupid face thankfully and the corner of my eyes burned. I had wanted to be happy with that asshole.

I was very wrong. As soon as I got the company, I was going to get rid of Angel for good. Until then, I had a mission to complete.

”Yo sexy, what’s popping?”

Standing on the dirty grimy street in front of the fake apartment that I had lived in was hell. Wearing a very expensive dress half naked at seven pm in the night on a lousy street was a terrible decision making skill but I had to keep up with my lie.

The jerk approaching me apparently couldn’t read the look of disgust on my face and still grinned at me. ”Damn girl, I could crack that ass,”

The only thing getting cracked is your nose if you take one more step my way, I thought furiously, glancing down the street. I should have gotten a pepper spray along.

Roman had said he would pick me up by seven fifteen. I had only come earlier so that he wouldn’t catch me in my lie.

”Thank God,” A sigh of relief left my lips when I saw his Bentley roll down the street.

A chauffeur stepped out of the car, jogging round to pull the door to the back seat open.

I slid inside, and the warmth of the car hit my skin as well as the scent of the insanely sexy man sprawled across the backseat like he owned the world.

”There’s my beautiful date,” he purred, reaching for my hand.

He had a midnight blue tuxedo that matched my dress and that surprised me. His golden hair was swept back, revealing the sharp planes of his face, and his hazel eyes lit up excitedly, roaming down my body hungrily as he pulled me closer.

”You clean up nice, Mr Knight,”

His eyes narrowed, dropping to where the dress had ridden up slightly as I sat, revealing the top of my thigh.

Roman’s grip tightened on my hand, and when he looked back up at me, his pupils were blown wide.

”Vivi, Are you wearing anything under that dress?”

I met his gaze and my lips tugged in a smile.

”Why don’t you find out?”

I was only flirting, I didn’t think he would actually take me up on my word when he suddenly yanked me flush against him, his hand snaking around my waist to grab my ass.

I sucked in a breath, my eyes widening as he began squeezing, fondling my ass cheeks through the dress.

”Roman,” I breathed, and it sounded too thin and needy. ”We’re going to be late. The ball-”

”Shhh.” He rasped, dropping his lips to my ear, nibbling on it with his teeth before pulling it for a suck. ”We have all the time in the world, sweetheart. Spread those legs for me, princess.”
