Flower Stealing Master

The two people in the room were naturally Zhou Zhiruo and Qi Fang. They were taken to a private residence and settled in. Taking advantage of the guards’ inattention, Zhou Zhiruo and Qi Fang escaped. The people on the Isle of Heroes hadn’t expected that the two delicate women were actually martial arts masters. By the time they realized what was happening, the two women had vanished without a trace.

After their safe escape, Zhou Zhiruo led Qi Fang to the agreed-upon Red Sleeve Courtyard to wait for Song Qingshu to arrive. However, two beautiful women visiting a brothel would be too conspicuous, so the two disguised themselves as men and slipped in.

Qi Fang had never been to such a place before. Her past experience as a woman from a small town had made her feel somewhat inferior, let alone the largest br0thel in the capital. Although her life as a young mistress had broadened her horizons over the years, she had always lived a secluded life, adhering to traditional wifely virtues, and would never come to such a place again.

Zhou Zhiruo was similarly composed, but being a woman of the martial world and having spent her time in the White Lotus Sect, where she had come into contact with all sorts of people, she was much calmer than Qi Fang. She handled all the arrangements for entering and leaving the Red Sleeve Courtyard.

Naturally, the two women wouldn’t ask any of the girls from the courtyard to accompany them. The madam initially had some complaints, but a large ingot of silver silenced her, and she immediately arranged a quiet private room.

The two women had been waiting there for several hours, but Song Qingshu showed no sign of appearing, and Qi Fang was becoming increasingly restless.

“Sister Qi seems quite agitated?” Zhou Zhiruo noticed that Qi Fang was more agitated than usual.

Qi Fang bit her lip before saying softly, “I’m worried about Kongxincai.” Zhou Zhiruo, having spent time with her, naturally knew that Kongxincai was her daughter.

“So much time has passed; the Wan family probably already considers me dead. If Kongxincai doesn’t see me, she’ll be incredibly heartbroken.” Thinking of her beloved daughter, Qi Fang felt a pang of sadness. Zhou Zhiruo laughed, “Sister, you’re just worried sick. How old is Kongxincai? How would she know these things?”

Qi Fang remained troubled. “I’m mainly worried that that beast Wan Gui will harm her.”

Zhou Zhiruo said in surprise, “Even a tiger doesn’t eat its cubs, it shouldn’t…it shouldn’t be that bad, right?” She knew what had happened to Qi Fang, so her tone became less certain towards the end.

“He can kill his wife, what else wouldn’t he do?” Qi Fang became increasingly anxious. “No, even if Wan Gui won’t do anything to her, I must rescue Kongxincai. I can’t let her grow up in a family surrounded by wolves.”

“Then let’s go rescue little Kongxincai now.” At this moment, a familiar voice came from outside the window. The two women turned around in surprise.

Song Qingshu lightly jumped in through the window, looking at the two women with a smile.

“Song…” Qi Fang exclaimed in surprise, but quickly realized that his wife was there, so she forcibly suppressed her excitement.

“Your martial arts have really recovered!” Zhou Zhiruo, without much hesitation, rushed forward and embraced him. If she had been somewhat skeptical before, seeing him enter the room so silently now, she was completely convinced.

“Yes, I’ve recovered,” Song Qingshu replied gently, stroking her soft, long hair.

The two poured out their hearts to each other. Soon, Zhou Zhiruo realized there was another woman beside her. Her face flushed slightly, she pushed him away and changed the subject, saying, “The Heavenly Devil Flower poison is so potent, how did you recover?”

“I comprehended the Supreme Mysteries Scripture on the Isle of Heroes, and that forced the poison out,” Song Qingshu answered instinctively.

“This Supreme Mysteries Scripture is truly miraculous; it can even deal with the Heavenly Demon Flower,” Zhou Zhiruo exclaimed in amazement. Suddenly realizing something, her eyebrows furrowed, and she snapped, “Then later, when you pretended to be poisoned and had Sister Qi accompany you, was that all an act?”

Song Qingshu inwardly cried out in alarm and quickly replied, “At that time, there was still some residual poison left, requiring a final consolidation to prevent a resurgence.”

Seeing the two women’s doubtful eyes, Song Qingshu quickly changed the subject: “I just heard Sister Qi mention Kongxincai incident. Let’s go to the Wan residence now and settle the score for what they did to me.”

Hearing this, Zhou Zhiruo’s eyes turned icy cold. Wan Qi and Wan Gui had almost caused her husband’s death; how could she not avenge him?

And that guy surnamed Li!

Zhou Zhiruo’s gaze drifted northward, silently adding to her thoughts.

The three quickly reached an agreement and, under the moonlight, quietly left the Red Sleeve Courtyard. Because Qi Fang’s martial arts skills were truly poor, Song Qingshu carried her the entire way, much to Zhou Zhiruo’s slight annoyance.

However, Qi Fang’s status meant she posed no threat to her, and Zhou Zhiruo quickly relaxed. With a light step, she caught up. Years ago, she had defeated numerous opponents at the Shaolin Temple’s Lion-Slaying Assembly, earning the title of “Number One Under Heaven.” In recent years, she had diligently cultivated the Nine Yin Scripture, and had also benefited greatly from her dual cultivation with Song Qingshu. Her martial arts skills were now arguably even better than before, and she felt no strain keeping up with Song Qingshu—of course, this was partly due to Song Qingshu carrying someone, and partly because he wasn’t using his full strength.

Holded in Song Qingshu’s arms, even though they had already been intimate, Qi Fang’s heart still pounded. She glanced at Zhou Zhiruo discreetly, and seeing no sign of displeasure, she felt slightly relieved. Aside from occasionally pointing the way, she spent the rest of the time blushing and pressed against his chest.

Before long, the three arrived at the Prime Minister’s residence. Although it was the residence of the most powerful person in the court, the security was far less stringent than at the Jia family mansion. With Qi Fang’s guidance, they easily bypassed heavily guarded areas and sentries, silently infiltrating the inner quarters.

In this world, whether it’s the imperial palace or a minister’s residence, the outer defenses are weak, while the inner quarters are where the women reside. Furthermore, given the polygamous system in this world, men, to avoid being cuckolded, naturally wouldn’t allow strong guards to roam around their wives.

“Let’s go find Kongxincai first,” Song Qingshu said softly, setting Qi Fang down. He understood that seeking revenge first would inevitably cause a stir, making it difficult for Qi Fang to find her daughter later.

“Thank you,” Qi Fang said gratefully, then led the way. “This way. Kongxincai is usually cared for by her wet nurse, but I wonder if anything has changed.”

Soon, the three arrived at the wet nurse’s room. Thank goodness, Kongxincai was unharmed.

Having remotely pressed the wet nurse’s acupoint to induce sleep, Qi Fang rushed in and tightly embraced her sleeping daughter in the crib, tears streaming down her face.

Looking at the exquisitely beautiful little girl in her arms, Song Qingshu had to admit the power of genes. Wan Gui, though a bit wicked, was undeniably handsome, and Qi Fang was a stunning beauty; their daughter was clearly destined for greatness from a young age.

“Sister, can I hold Kongxincai too?” Zhou Zhiruo, her maternal instincts awakened, couldn’t help but ask.

“Of course,” Qi Fang replied, in a good mood, handing her daughter over and offering advice on how to hold her more comfortably and effortlessly.

Seeing the joy and excitement in Zhou Zhiruo’s eyes, Song Qingshu felt a surge of tenderness.

While Zhou Zhiruo played with the child, Song Qingshu pulled Qi Fang to his side: “I’m going to confront your husband now. Do you want to come with me?”
