Chapter 850: Fellow Sufferers in a Cruel World

Tudan Jing knew that Wanyan Liang was never short of women around him. Though she prided herself on her beauty, she held no significant advantage over the younger, more alluring women. The reason she remained the secure and unchallenged princess consort was solely due to the influence of the Tudan family.

But if her loss of virtue were ever discovered, Wanyan Liang could easily depose her and replace her with another. Even the Tudan family would have no grounds to object—such was the cruel fate imposed on women in this world.

Having realized this, Tudan Jing hesitated.

At this moment, Song Qingshu spoke up: “The princess is an intelligent woman. Judging by your expression, you must have already grasped the crux of the matter, so I need not elaborate further.”

Tudan Jing abruptly raised her head, glaring coldly at him. “You calculated that I wouldn’t dare make a scene, didn’t you? That’s why you had the audacity to act so brazenly?”

“Yes.” Song Qingshu nodded without hesitation.

Tudan Jing was stunned by his shameless admission, momentarily speechless.

Seeing her displeasure, Song Qingshu continued, “Given the circumstances, the best course of action is to pretend nothing happened. That way, we both benefit.”

“We both benefit?” Tudan Jing seethed. “So I’m just supposed to accept being vi0lated by you for nothing?”

“Gebi was also vi0lated for nothing,” Song Qingshu replied coldly. “You must understand that the true instigator of all this is your husband. Both you and I are victims here.”
Tudan Jing’s expression darkened further—she knew he spoke the truth. Had Wanyan Liang not committed such an act, she would never have suffered this humiliation.

“Fine. I understand. You may leave now.” She took a deep breath. Unlike ordinary women, her noble upbringing had taught her to weigh pros and cons. Despite her shame and fury, she acknowledged the practicality of his solution.

To her surprise, Song Qingshu merely gave an indifferent “Oh” but showed no intention of leaving. Tudan Jing’s anger flared anew. “Why are you still here?”

Instead of answering directly, he gestured toward the neighboring room. “Your husband is still vi0lating ‘Gebi’ next door.”

Tudan Jing’s grip on the blanket tightened. “What, do you intend to retaliate by vi0lating me?”

“Precisely,” Song Qingshu answered bluntly.

Tudan Jing let out a bitter laugh. “Am I hearing this right? You should be thanking your lucky stars that I’m not holding you accountable for your earlier outrage, and yet you still dare to think of vi0lating me again?”

“Why not?” Song Qingshu stepped closer, looming over her. “Since you won’t dare expose me, what’s stopping me from taking what I want?”

“You—!” Tudan Jing recoiled in alarm, clutching the blanket as she shrank toward the corner of the bed. “D-Don’t you dare! If you come any closer, I’ll scream!”

“Go ahead. Scream all you want. Better yet, call Wanyan Liang over and let him see how you’ve betrayed him.” His tone was utterly indifferent.

Tudan Jing instinctively opened her mouth to shout—but no sound emerged.

Seeing this, Song Qingshu smirked. “Princess, there’s really no need for such resistance. We’ve already been intimate once. What difference does one more time make?”

“That’s pure sophistry!” she retorted, her face flushed with anger.

“Yet the princess was quite responsive earlier. Judging by your reactions, if I’m not mistaken, Wanyan Liang hasn’t touched you in a long time, has he?” He reached to tilt her chin up, but she turned her face away.

“That’s none of your concern,” she said flatly, though her heaving chest betrayed her inner turmoil.

“Oh, but it is my concern. It seemed to me that the princess was… parched, longing for a man’s t0uch. Since your husband neglects his duties, why shouldn’t I step in?” His grin widened.

“Don’t mistake me for some cheap harl0t!” Tudan Jing’s delicate brows furrowed as she glared at him.

“The union of man and woman is the most natural thing in the world. How is that cheap?” His hand slid over her smooth shoulder before his tone shifted. “Besides, your husband is vigorously enjoying another w0man next door. Don’t you feel even the slightest urge for revenge?”

As his fingers brushed her skin, Tudan Jing shuddered—yet she didn’t resist. Instead, she said calmly, “The ‘other w0man’ you speak of is your wife.”

Song Qingshu scoffed inwardly—‘she’s just some courtesan I picked up’—but he maintained his aggrieved expression. “Which is precisely why we’re fellow sufferers in this cruel world. Shouldn’t we console each other?”

Tudan Jing trembled, murmuring, “Fellow sufferers in this cruel world…”

Smiling, Song Qingshu knew he had breached the defenses of this refined princess. Without further hesitation, he gently tugged away the blanket she held before her.

“Only tonight. After this, you must never bother me again,” Tudan Jing said softly, biting her lip as she pressed a hand against his chest.

“Agreed.” Song Qingshu smirked inwardly. W0men loved using such lies to delude themselves. She knew full well that things couldn’t simply return to normal after tonight, yet she insisted on this pretense—likely to justify her surrender. If she needed that excuse, he’d gladly give it to her.

As he pressed her down onto the bed, Tudan Jing’s eyes grew distant. The sounds from next door—her husband’s voice—reached her ears, and she sighed inwardly. ‘My prince… you brought this upon yourself.’

Being pinned beneath a man who wasn’t her husband sent tremors through her, yet an odd thrill coursed through her as well. The scrape of his stubble against her delicate neck raised goosebumps across her skin.

“You’re beautiful, Princess,” Song Qingshu whispered in her ear before capturing her earlobe between his lips.

“N-No… that tickles…hng!” The tingling sensation made her giggle as she turned her head away—then she froze. She couldn’t believe she’d just uttered such a coquettish whimper to a man other than her husband.

Just as a pang of loss struck her, the creaking of the bed from next door reached her ears again. She gritted her teeth. ‘If only you knew your wife was in the next room, beneath another man… Would you still be so excited?’

Song Qingshu’s hand trailed from her smooth shoulder down her slender arm until their fingers intertwined.

Tudan Jing shuddered. She had to admit—this man’s skill far surpassed her husband’s. Just this simple caress sent heat pooling between her thighs, and her fingers instinctively curled around his.

“How did you realize earlier that I wasn’t Wanyan Liang?” Though her body had already yielded, Song Qingshu took his time, posing the question leisurely.

Tudan Jing clenched her thighs, stealing a glance at the intimidating length below his waist. “How could I not notice something so… distinctive?”

Song Qingshu chuckled smugly. “Has the princess never… serviced the prince before? Your technique was quite amateurish—you kept grazing me with your teeth.”

Her face burned as she turned away. “To think I’d let a scoundrel like you take advantage of me today.”

“From now on, you’re not to treat Wanyan Liang the way you did earlier.” He hooked a finger under her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze.

Her eyes glistened, cheeks flushed. “The prince is my husband. You’re overstepping!”

“I am overbearing,” he said firmly, staring into her eyes. “Promise me.”

Looming over her, his imposing frame and the way he pinned her wrists made Tudan Jing feel utterly conquered. Her gaze wavered before she gave an almost imperceptible nod.

“And from now on, he’s not allowed in your bed,” Song Qingshu added, grinning.

She shot him an exasperated look. “He’s my husband. If not him, then who? You?”

“If the princess ever has need, I’ll gladly devote myself to the task—even unto death.”

His words deepened her blush. “There’s only tonight between us. Don’t delude yourself.” The noises from next door agitated her, and she squeezed her thighs together.

“After tonight, you’ll come seeking me out yourself.” Confident, he lifted her snow-white thighs and positioned himself.

Tudan Jing stole another glance and couldn’t help muttering, “Are you some kind of donkey…?”

“Thank you for the compliment, Princess.” With that, he sheathed himself inside her.

“HHHNNNH~”

Perhaps it was the thought of her husband reveling with another woman, but Tudan Jing felt a perverse thrill of vengeance.

Pah…Puchak! Pah…Puchak!

Already wet, Song Qingshu met little resistance as he pushed deep into her.

“Ahhngg~” Her back arched sharply as a gasp tore from her lips. She clutched at him. “S-Slow down… It hurts.”

Song Qingshu laughed. “After all these years of marriage, the princess still plays the blushing maiden?”

She thumped his chest. “It’s your fault for being so… donkey-like!”

Pah…Puchak!

He thrust experimentally. “And yet the princess is already drenched beyond belief…”

“Even if I’m wet, it still hurts!” She pressed against his shoulders. “It’s been so long since I’ve… done this. And you’re so… Let me adjust first.”

“As the princess commands.” He slowed his movements, focusing not on conquest but on maintaining their current position.

Pah! Pah! Pah!

“Now you remember I’m the princess?” She wanted to bite him, but his gentleness gradually eased her tension.

“I… I’m ready.” To her own surprise, she wrapped her legs around his waist, inviting him in.

“Then here I come, Princess.” Accepting her invitation, he plunged deep.

Pah…Puchak!

Pah…Puchak!

Pah…Puchak!

Her eyes flew wide—for a moment, she felt utterly impaled. But her body had already prepared itself, and soon her furrowed brows relaxed into pleasure.

“Ahhhgh! Ang~ Haaah!”

At first, she stifled her m0ans, but when Song Qingshu lifted her against the shared wall and pounded into her relentlessly, she could no longer hold back. Her cries of ecstasy spilled into the next room.

Under the influence of the aphr0disiac, Wanyan Liang had been tirelessly vigorous—until his wife’s m0ans reached his ears. He froze, a sour pang twisting his heart. ‘Was this really worth it?’

As the sounds from next door grew louder, Wanyan Liang’s humiliation curdled into rage. ‘That b*stard Tang Kuo Bian! Treating my wife like some cheap wh0re!’

Unable to bear it, he spread the w0man beneath him and thrust harder, as if in retaliation.

Pa…Pa…Pah!

Pah…Puchak! Pah…Puchak!

The two rooms became a competition of sounds.

Time blurred—even with the aphr0disiac, Wanyan Liang eventually reached his limit. With a final shudder, he collapsed atop the w0man, panting heavily.

‘At least I f*cked his wife seven or eight times tonight. Not a bad trade.’ Yet his wife’s wanton m0ans showed no sign of stopping, gnawing at him. He wanted to continue with “Gebi,” but exhaustion claimed him.

As her cries filled his ears, he drifted into a troubled sleep.

The Next Morning

Before dawn, Song Qingshu and Wanyan Liang met in the courtyard pavilion as agreed. Their eyes met in eerie understanding before they spoke in unison:

“How was last night…?”

“Gebi is truly divine—so soft, so exquisite. Brother Tang Kuo, you’ve enjoyed quite the fortune all these years. I was thoroughly satisfied last night.” Wanyan Liang deliberately provoked him.

But since the woman wasn’t actually Gebi, Song Qingshu remained unfazed. He replied flatly, “While I was with the princess last night, she kept m0aning your name, Your Highness. Her love for you runs bone-deep.”

Wanyan Liang’s face twisted as if struck by a critical blow. He’d meant to taunt “Tang Kuo Bian,” only to sour his own mood.

Seeing his expression darken, Song Qingshu swiftly changed the subject. “Your Highness, to avoid raising suspicion, let’s never speak of last night again in their presence!”
