Flower Stealing Master

Chapter 800: The Maiden and the Uncle

“What do you think of him?” Song Qingshu asked nonchalantly.

Wanyan Gebi frowned slightly, recalling her impressions before answering, “At first, I thought he was some lecherous womanizer, so I was quite frightened. But after the misunderstanding was cleared, I realized he’s actually quite decent—handsome and refined. Aside from sealing my acupoints at the beginning, his behavior wasn’t inappropriate at all. One could even call him a true gentleman.”

Song Qingshu hadn’t expected such high praise from her and couldn’t help feeling secretly pleased. He decided to boast a little: “Ah, my sworn brother is truly a man who could captivate thousands of maidens. There are even rumors that he can steal a woman’s virtue from a thousand miles away. You’d better guard your heart, my dear, lest he bewitches you.”

Wanyan Gebi immediately flushed with anger. “What nonsense are you spouting? Have I ever spared another man so much as a glance all these years? My devotion to you is as clear as the heavens—how could you not know that? Must you trample on my feelings like this?” Her eyes reddened slightly, a faint mist gathering in them.

Song Qingshu quickly soothed her. “I only said that because there’s a reason behind it. We met in Kaifeng…” He briefly recounted the circumstances of their acquaintance before deliberately adding, “Later, we found ourselves so compatible that we became sworn brothers. We even took the most sacred oath—that if I were to die one day, he would take care of you in my stead.”

“Ugh, stop that!” Wanyan Gebi hastily covered his mouth. “Don’t say such ominous things!”

Song Qingshu chuckled, knowing it was best not to push too far. He wanted to plant the idea gently so that when the truth eventually came out, she wouldn’t be too shocked.

“Husband, I know you’ve refused many who sought to swear brotherhood with you because you feared they might covet me. Yet this time, you took the initiative to bond with him—this Song Song Qingshu must truly be remarkable.” Wanyan Gebi sighed, then suddenly traced a finger along his chest. “The Han have a saying: ‘Beauty is a curse.’ Over the years, I’ve brought you so much trouble, made you offend so many people. Even though you’re the head of one of the three great clans, you’re stuck as a powerless Left Deputy Minister of the Department of State Affairs. Do you… resent me for it?”

Song Qingshu wrapped an arm around her slender waist and buried his face between her mounds, murmuring, “How could I resent you? I’ve heard countless men in the capital whisper that they’d gladly trade ten years of their life for just one night with you. Yet I get to enjoy you every single day—what’s a mere official title compared to that?”

“You’re so shameless~” Wanyan Gebi scolded playfully, though her heart swelled with sweetness at his words. “Ah—don’t kiss there…”
What followed was another bout of passionate entanglement, leaving them both exhausted and entwined as they drifted into deep slumber.

They had no idea how long they slept before a servant’s voice called from outside the door: “Master, Mistress, the Prince of Wei has arrived.”

The two awoke, exchanging puzzled glances. What could he possibly want?

“Serve him tea. We’ll be there shortly,” Song Qingshu instructed as he began dressing.

“What business does the Prince of Wei have coming here so early in the morning? How annoying,” Wanyan Gebi grumbled, yawning widely, her eyes still heavy with sleep.

Song Qingshu glanced at the bright sunlight streaming through the window and laughed. “The sun is already high—it’s hardly early.”

Though he had spent the first half of the night with Empress Pei Man before returning to Wanyan Gebi for multiple rounds of lovemaking, an ordinary man—even with a beauty like her—would have been utterly spent. Fortunately, Song Qingshu’s unique cultivation method allowed him to harmonize Yin and Yang, leaving him refreshed upon waking, as if all his pent-up frustrations and minor internal injuries had healed.

Wanyan Gebi, however, wasn’t so lucky. After waiting up all night for him and then being thoroughly ravished, her body now felt limp and sore, as if on the verge of falling apart. She longed to curl up under the blankets and sleep for three days straight.

As Song Qingshu dressed, he noticed Wanyan Gebi had gone silent. Turning, he found her sitting on the bed, eyes half-lidded, her head nodding forward as she dozed. The quilt had slipped to her waist, leaving her breathtaking figure exposed to the chilly air without her even realizing it. His heart stirred, and he leaned in to press a k!ss to her mounds. ꭆＡ₦ɵΒĚ𝐒

“Ah—!” The sudden assault on her sensitive spot jolted Wanyan Gebi awake. She pushed him away with a light smack. “Look what you’ve done! You covered me in marks last night, and now you’re bullying me again?”

Seeing her snow-white skin adorned with the traces of their passion, Song Qingshu swelled with pride and pulled her into his arms. “You’re so beautiful…”

Wanyan Gebi smiled sweetly. “Alright, alright, let’s get up. The Prince of Wei is probably growing impatient.”

They dressed hurriedly, though Wanyan Gebi’s languid state made her unfit to receive guests. Song Qingshu went ahead to entertain the Prince of Wei while she freshened up.

Just as Song Qingshu reached the hall’s entrance, he heard the sound of a cup shattering. “Utterly ridiculous! What arrogance must one have to keep me waiting like this? When exactly does your master plan to show himself?”

“Brother, there’s no need to take it out on the servants. Besides, they are your elders—waiting a little longer isn’t such a big deal,” a crisp, youthful voice chimed in, seemingly trying to placate the prince.

Song Qingshu paused. Who was this girl accompanying the Prince of Wei?

“Hmph! What elders? Once this prince ascends the throne, they’ll all be my subjects,” the Prince of Wei sneered, his tone dripping with disdain.

Song Qingshu’s brow furrowed. This prince is so full of himself, offending people left and right—it’s a miracle he’s lived this long. Though disgusted, he still had to play the part. Pretending he hadn’t overheard, he strode in. “My apologies for keeping you waiting, Your Highness. Please forgive—ah, and this is…?”

His words trailed off as his gaze landed on the girl seated beside the prince. Her delicate, jade-like cheeks, the elegant slope of her nose, and her soft, slightly upturned lips—which seemed to carry a perpetual hint of mischief—made her instantly endearing.

‘There’s actually such a stunning beauty in the Jin Dynasty?’ Song Qingshu was momentarily stunned. Though still young, her charm was already extraordinary; once she fully matured, she might rival even Wanyan Gebi in beauty.

But what struck him most were her lively eyes—they seemed hauntingly familiar, though he couldn’t place where he’d seen them before.

A mischievous glint flashed in the girl’s bright eyes before she feigned shyness, lowering her lashes demurely. “Uncle Tang Kuo, if you keep staring at me like that… I’ll feel embarrassed.”
