Flower Stealing Master

Chapter 754: The Empress’s Secret

‘You mean there’s this kind of benefit too?’ Song Qingshu was momentarily dumbfounded. Happiness had come so suddenly that he was caught off guard.

“Xiao Xing, what’s wrong with you today? Why are you acting so silly?” Empress Pei Man didn’t hear any movement for a long time. She subconsciously propped herself up on the bed and looked over, revealing her full and v0luptuous curves.

“Ah, I’m here.” Song Qingshu, worried that she might notice something amiss, quickly responded.

“Hurry up. I don’t know why, but these past two days, my shoulders have been feeling incredibly sore. Those useless servants have terrible technique; their massages are completely ineffective.” Empress Pei Man stretched lazily and pounded her own shoulder, completely unconcerned about the alluring curves displayed before Song Qingshu.

Song Qingshu secretly let out a sigh of relief. So the empress had called for Xiao Xing just to give her a massage—he had been overthinking things. However, his heart quickly tensed again. Judging by her words, Xiao Xing seemed quite skilled at massages. Since he wasn’t the real Xiao Xing, wouldn’t he be exposed?

Fortunately, Song Qingshu was quick to react. No matter how refined Xiao Xing’s skills were, he was still just an ordinary person, unlike himself, who was well-versed in human acupoints. Making her feel comfortable would be a simple task.

With an idea in mind, Song Qingshu’s hands moved skillfully like a pianist, gently kneading her shoulders and back.

Empress Pei Man’s body stiffened at first, but she soon relaxed, letting out a satisfied moan. “Xiao Xing, you’re still the most thoughtful. But why does your technique feel different today?”

Song Qingshu replied calmly, “This servant has recently learned some new methods and came to serve Your Majesty specially.”

“I will remember your loyalty.” Empress Pei Man had more to say, but she quickly became immersed in the pleasure of his massage. “Mmm~ A little lower~ Ah~”
Hearing her soft m0ans, Song Qingshu felt a surge of wicked fire rise in his heart. He couldn’t understand how this woman maintained herself so well. Despite her age, her skin was still incredibly supple, showing no signs of aging.

Song Qingshu’s mind drifted back to his past life and the celebrity Lin Chi-ling. By age, she was as old as NBA’s Tim Duncan, yet in appearance, she could easily pass as his daughter, and no one would doubt it.

‘With the advanced technology of my past life, it’s no surprise Lin Chi-ling aged so well. But how on earth does this woman maintain herself like this? She’s practically a demoness.’ As he continued working on her acupoints, his mind wandered elsewhere.

“Xiao Xing, why did you come so late tonight?”

Empress Pei Man had been lying with her eyes closed for a long time. Song Qingshu thought she had fallen asleep, but unexpectedly, she murmured a question.

“There was an assassin in the palace tonight, and the guards tightened security everywhere. I was stopped in another area, which delayed me.” Song Qingshu had already thought of an excuse on the way here, so he answered without hesitation.

“I see…”

Song Qingshu thought she would ask about the assassin, so he had already prepared a response. However, to his surprise, she didn’t seem interested at all and merely acknowledged it before saying nothing more.

Even though his fingers were touching an incredibly tempting body, Song Qingshu maintained absolute clarity in his mind. He pondered whether he could use his connection with the empress to rescue Song Yuanqiao and the others. Additionally, he needed to find out who had tried to assassinate Xiao Xing; otherwise, his own identity could be exposed.

Thinking back on everything that had happened since he arrived at the empress’s palace, Song Qingshu hadn’t noticed anything unusual about the people he encountered. This puzzled him even more. If the culprit wasn’t someone from the empress’s palace, then who would dare target someone so close to her?

Just as he was lost in thought, the empress’s voice suddenly reached his ears.

“Xiao Xing, do you still remember what I taught you before?”

“Huh?” Song Qingshu was stunned. He had assumed she only summoned him for a massage, but now it seemed there was another reason. The problem was, he wasn’t the real Xiao Xing, so how would he know what she had taught before?

Noticing his hesitation, Empress Pei Man’s expression darkened. She shoved him away and sat up straight. The lazy look in her eyes turned sharp. “You fool! Have I not taught you long enough?!”

“Please forgive me, Your Majesty.” Song Qingshu knew that the more he spoke, the more mistakes he would make. Instead of explaining, he simply acted terrified and repeatedly begged for mercy.

“Sigh… I know, it’s not that you don’t remember. You’re just afraid.” Empress Pei Man suddenly sighed.

Song Qingshu’s heart skipped a beat. Afraid? Afraid of what? For now, his best option was to remain silent and observe.

Sure enough, Empress Pei Man soon continued, “How many times have I told you? Teaching you this is just for fun. You know my situation. This is the only way I can entertain myself.”

Song Qingshu was still confused about what she was referring to, so he continued playing dumb.

Seeing his submissive expression, Empress Pei Man showed a trace of disdain, but she quickly concealed it. “Xiao Xing, I know this is a crime punishable by extermination of one’s entire family. But you don’t have to worry too much. Only the heavens, the earth, you, and I know about this. If neither of us speaks of it, who would ever find out?”

Song Qingshu was dumbfounded. Could the empress truly be so desperate that she sought pleasure from a eunuch? That was too absurd to believe!

Seeing his silence, Empress Pei Man’s face darkened, and she suddenly stood up. “My patience is limited. Watch carefully. If you still can’t learn, don’t blame me for turning hostile.”

After speaking, she began pacing the room while explaining key details. Her movements were slow, and her speech deliberate, as if worried he wouldn’t keep up.

The more Song Qingshu watched, the more shocked he became. Not because he couldn’t understand it, but because he understood it too well—these were the precise etiquette rules and behaviors required of an emperor!

“Could she be plotting to seize the throne?” A terrifying thought flashed through Song Qingshu’s mind. He didn’t care whether the emperor of the Jin Dynasty lived or died, but being unintentionally dragged into such a political maelstrom was not something he desired.

“Have you learned it now?”

After the demonstration, a light sheen of sweat appeared on Empress Pei Man’s temples. However, she didn’t bother to wipe it away. Instead, she stared intently at Song Qingshu, and for a fleeting moment, a murderous glint flashed in her eyes. If this little eunuch was truly useless, she would have no choice but to kill him and replace him with someone else.

Song Qingshu immediately sensed the killing intent in her eyes. He knew that one wrong answer could mean instant death. If he had been the real Xiao Xing, he might have made a foolish mistake. But with his wealth of experience, he instantly made the best choice.

“I have learned it, Your Majesty.”
