Flower Stealing Master

Chapter 639: You Tanzhi’s Anxiety

Ah Zi, despite being a ruthless and cunning little demoness, had soft and tender hands. Her gentle pinching made Song Qingshu swallow back the words of rejection he was about to utter.

“Master, does this feel good?” Ah Zi asked softly, leaning forward while massaging his shoulders. Her lips were close to Song Qingshu’s ear as she whispered.

“Are you trying to seduce me?” Song Qingshu asked, catching a faint whiff of her unique girlish fragrance.

“Ah Zi belongs entirely to Master,” she replied in a sweet, coy tone. “There’s no need to seduce you.”

The honeyed sound of her voice caused Song Qingshu’s heart to stir slightly. He marveled at how powerful the Bewitching Technique from the ”Nine Yin Scripture” was. Thankfully, it had fallen into his hands, someone upright and honorable. Otherwise, countless innocent y0ung g!rls would have suffered.

“Ah Zi, go back to your room and sleep,” Song Qingshu coughed lightly to mask his thoughts.

“Master, you’ve expended a lot of True Qi today healing that Ren fellow. You must be exhausted. Let Ah Zi stay and massage you to relieve your fatigue,” she said, looking up at him pitifully.

After hesitating for a moment, Song Qingshu gave a slight nod. He was indeed tired, and letting her loosen his muscles seemed like a good idea.

“Yay~” Ah Zi exclaimed excitedly when he agreed. “Master, lie down on the bed. You’ll feel more relaxed that way.”

Song Qingshu nodded. Having visited massage parlors in his previous life, he didn’t find the suggestion unusual.
“Ah Zi, you’re quite skilled. Have you practiced this before?” Song Qingshu asked, letting out a comfortable hum.

“In the Xingxiu Sect, my senior brothers often bullied me. To survive, I learned to curry favor with Master Ding,” Ah Zi said with a hint of sadness.

Song Qingshu sighed inwardly. It was no wonder Ah Zi had developed such a ruthless personality. In an environment like that, it was impossible to remain pure-hearted.

“Don’t worry. With me around, no one will bully you anymore,” he said softly.

Her face lit up at his words, and she giggled. “Master, you’re the best.”

Song Qingshu smiled faintly, but something occurred to him, and he couldn’t help asking, “Ah Zi, I’ve noticed you’re still a maiden. How did you manage to protect yourself in such an environment?”

Normally, Song Qingshu wouldn’t ask so directly, but after using the Bewitching Technique, Ah Zi saw him as her master and would hold nothing back.

Ah Zi blushed and answered in a small voice, “In the Xingxiu Sect, strength reigns supreme. Everyone’s primary goal is to increase their power and become the senior disciple. As a result, they weren’t particularly interested in women. Moreover, I used to make myself appear filthy and unremarkable. Later, with Master Ding as my backer, no one dared to trouble me.”

She hesitated before adding, “However… as I grew older, my appearance became harder to conceal. Even Master Ding started looking at me strangely. I got scared and fled the Xingxiu Sect during his trip to the Central Plains for the Golden Serpent Assembly, stealing the Divine Wood King Cauldron on my way out.”

Although her face was red, a hint of pride crept onto her expression as she spoke of how her beauty had bewitched the Xingxiu Sect disciples.

“Look at you, all smug,” Song Qingshu teased with a chuckle. “What about that You Tanzhi? What’s his story?”

“He was someone Master Ding brought back from the Central Plains. He seemed a bit dim-witted, and the Xingxiu Sect disciples often bullied him. Feeling sorry for him, I helped him a few times…”

Before she could finish, Song Qingshu interrupted her with a laugh. “Come on, with your personality, not bullying him yourself is already surprising.”

“Master, don’t expose me like that,” she pouted. “Normally, I wouldn’t bother helping him. But seeing him being bullied reminded me of my own experiences. I couldn’t help stepping in.”

“Later, I found out he was highly skilled in martial arts and immune to poisons. Moreover, he seemed… different toward me.”

“He obviously likes you,” Song Qingshu teased.

“Who wants that ugly fool to like me? I only like Master,” Ah Zi said coyly.

“Alright, I get it,” Song Qingshu said. “But why is he still with you?”

“When I fled the Xingxiu Sect, Master Ding was furious and sent several groups after me. You Tanzhi was among them, but instead of capturing me, he helped kill off my pursuers and eventually joined me in defecting. Seeing his high martial arts skills, I decided to keep him as a bodyguard.”

“You Tanzhi is a pitiful soul too,” Song Qingshu remarked, frowning slightly. “Deceiving him like this isn’t right.”

“I had no choice before,” Ah Zi said, pouting. “But now that Master is so powerful, I don’t need to use him anymore.”

“It’s better to tell him the truth sooner,” Song Qingshu suggested. But before he could continue, his expression changed. “Do you… massage Master Ding while undressed too?”

“Hmph! He wishes,” Ah Zi said, wrinkling her nose. Leaning closer to Song Qingshu’s ear, she whispered, “Only Master gets this special treatment.”

“You’ll regret this one day,” Song Qingshu said with a bitter smile, knowing the Bewitching Technique might fail eventually. If that happened, Ah Zi would undoubtedly hate him.

“Serving Master makes me so happy. Why would I regret it?” Ah Zi replied sweetly, placing his hand on her chest.

Song Qingshu, not being one to shy away, allowed himself a small smile at the sensation.

Suddenly, his expression turned sharp. He pulled Ah Zi into his arms and covered them both with the blanket.

“What’s wrong?” Ah Zi asked, her voice muffled under the covers.

“Shh. Don’t talk.”

Just as he finished speaking, the door burst open. You Tanzhi stormed in, his face full of rage.

“Didn’t anyone teach you to knock?” Song Qingshu’s voice grew cold.

“But Ah Zi hasn’t returned to her room!” You Tanzhi said anxiously.

“Maybe she went out to admire the night scenery,” Song Qingshu replied, secretly apologizing in his heart.

“But the Xingxiu Sect is still hunting her. How could she go out alone? Could they have captured her?” You Tanzhi paced nervously.

Song Qingshu coughed. “You, young hero, do you… like Ah Zi?”

“I…” You Tanzhi’s face turned red, though it was hidden behind his iron mask.

“Let me tell you, f0rcing yourself on a girl and not giving her space will never win her affection… Ah!” Song Qingshu’s words abruptly stopped.

“What happened?” You Tanzhi asked in surprise.

“Nothing. Just a cat bite,” Song Qingshu replied, maintaining his composure.
