Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 218: Chapter 205: The Hunt Plan

Tian Yunshan might never have imagined that before he could even find an opportunity to kill Su Han, Su Han had already set his sights on him. Although Tian Yunshan was indeed powerful with his Heavenly King Realm strength, Su Han was not without a chance. In his heart, he had already devised a perfect plan for revenge.

Between Yun Mokong’s sinister treachery and Tian Yunshan sending assassins after him, it was clear that neither father nor son was a good person. Naturally, Su Han would not show them any mercy. He understood the principle of striking first to gain the upper hand. Moreover, he was both bold and meticulous. Others wouldn’t believe he would dare to hunt a powerhouse like Tian Yunshan, and this reverse psychology might just yield a miraculous result.

Of course, after leaving the Seven Stars Sect, Su Han’s first stop was Qian Yuan City.

”Pavilion Master Sun, is there any news about Miss Tongyan?” Seeing Sun Buzhou again, Su Han retrieved the Golden Light Fiery Mirror he had left in the pavilion’s care and inquired about Tongyan’s situation.

”The Sequence Tournament has already begun, and Miss Tongyan is participating,” Sun Buzhou explained. Since they were well-acquainted and he also had a good relationship with Tongyan, he didn’t conceal anything. ”As for news, I’m afraid we’ll have to wait until the tournament ends. But don’t worry. With her Qi Holy Body, her luck is exceptionally good, so she’ll be fine. She might even improve her rank.”

”Thank you, Pavilion Master Sun. Please inform me if you hear anything,” Su Han said, nodding and clasping his fist in gratitude. ”I have one more thing I’d like to ask for your help with, Pavilion Master Sun.”

Before Su Han could elaborate, Sun Buzhou seemed to guess his question. ”You want to ask who placed a bounty on your head with the Demon Slayer Sect, don’t you?”

Crocodile Zhong and Crocodile Ling were assassins from the Demon Slayer Sect who had come after him on a mission. Since there was a mission, someone must have posted it, and Su Han wanted to know who was after his life.

Su Han nodded, his eyes filled with hope. It seemed Sun Buzhou already knew the answer.

”I’ve already looked into it for you,” Sun Buzhou revealed. ”It was your father, Wang Tianqing. He’s the one who posted the bounty in the Demon Slayer Sect. The first attempt failed, so now he’s increased the reward, hoping a bronze-badge assassin will take the mission. The bronze-badge assassins are all Physique Realm experts. You must be careful!”

The truth made Su Han’s pupils shrink, and his heart sank. He had never expected that the one going to such lengths to have him killed was his own biological father.

The most heartless belong to the Imperial Family. That saying was indeed true. His mother had been murdered by the ruthless Empress, and now even his own father was this cold-blooded.

Tianqing Dynasty, I will return sooner or later! a cold killing intent surged through him like a tide. Since Wang Tianqing is so determined to kill me, why should I show any misplaced mercy?

”Pavilion Master Sun, thank you for informing me!” Su Han thanked Sun Buzhou, as it would have been incredibly difficult for him to uncover this information through his own channels.

Next, Su Han began to do business with Sun Buzhou. He had acquired many treasures in the Supreme Cave Mansion; he had seven or eight Dao Artifacts alone, not to mention everything else. Additionally, the Storage Rings of General Weiyuan, the Blood Poison Little Demon Lord, and others contained a considerable number of valuable items. Su Han set aside the treasures he could use and decided to sell the rest to the Myriad Treasures Pavilion.

”Mr. Su, you truly are a VIP of our Myriad Treasures Pavilion! Every visit brings in so much business!” Seeing so many treasures, Sun Buzhou couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. Personal connections were one thing, but business was business—a fact everyone in the Myriad Treasures Pavilion understood clearly.

”This time, besides Spirit Gold, I’d also like to buy some array formation materials,” Su Han stated. He didn’t need Spirit Stones. After selling his spoils of war, he wanted to trade them for items he urgently needed. Spirit Gold was a must, as a large portion of his Great Luo Golden Body had yet to be tempered. Furthermore, he needed to prepare a Great Formation to hunt Tian Yunshan, as an expert at the Heavenly King Realm was not so easily killed.

”Ever since I learned you needed Spirit Gold, I’ve been setting a good amount aside. You won’t have to wait!” Sun Buzhou was a sharp businessman and quickly gathered all the Spirit Gold and array materials Su Han required. As a rule, he never asked what the items were for. He was simply a merchant conducting business, responsible for nothing more.

”Pavilion Master Sun, if you hear any news about Holy Medicine or Immortality Medicine, please let me know. I need those precious medicines,” Su Han added before leaving. Holy Medicine could heal his master, and Immortality Medicine could cure Fairy Sister Yun Xian—he had always kept this matter in mind.

”Alright,” Sun Buzhou agreed with some surprise, though he didn’t press for details. He handed Su Han a Communication Talisman, promising to relay any news through it.

After bidding farewell to Sun Buzhou, Su Han left Qian Yuan City. With his preparations complete, it was time to officially begin the hunt.

Tian Yunshan, you’ve sent people to kill me multiple times. We’ll start with you!

Su Han’s training this time would be centered on battle, on growing stronger through killing. Tian Yunshan, the Great Qian King, the Demon Slayer Sect, the Heavenly Demon Cult, and even Wang Tianqing—he would spare none of them. However, these enemies were not to be trifled with. If he wanted revenge, he would have to be patient, dealing with the weakest first and moving up step by step.

Within Su Han’s Bronze Ring, the Thunder Light Treasure Ship gifted by Tongyan remained, but this Dao Artifact was too conspicuous. Fearing his movements would be quickly discovered, he gave up on fast travel. Instead, he concealed his presence with the Heaven-Deceiving Demon Bead and used the Character Technique of Motion to get around.

Although the Character Technique of Motion was fast, it consumed a great deal of Demonic Qi, so Su Han could not travel day and night. This naturally slowed his pace considerably, but Su Han was in no hurry. He used the travel time to re-temper the forty pieces of Great Luo Golden Bone he had recently refined, using the Golden Light Fierce Fire.

Meanwhile, Tian Yunshan was unaware that he was being targeted. He was still relentlessly scheming to deal with Su Han. At that moment, however, an uninvited guest arrived at his palace.

”Junior pays his respects to Toad Poison Venerable!” Tian Yunshan greeted him with great reverence. Even though the man was an enemy, he didn’t dare to act. He was merely at the Heavenly King Realm, while the visitor, Toad Poison Venerable, was a Supreme Realm expert.

Toad Poison Venerable’s face was a bit pale, a clear sign his previous injuries had yet to fully heal. But with his strength, killing Tian Yunshan would be effortless. Today, however, he had not come to kill.

”Tian Yunshan, I offer you two choices: submit to my Heavenly Demon Cult, or die!” Toad Poison Venerable spoke directly, wasting no words.

A jolt went through Tian Yunshan’s heart. He was from Qingzhou and a subordinate of the Seven Stars Sect. For Toad Poison Venerable to say such a thing... does he mean the Heavenly Demon Cult plans to wage war against the Seven Stars Sect again?

”I am willing to submit!” Faced with a choice between life and death, Tian Yunshan pragmatically chose to be a turncoat.

Toad Poison Venerable nodded, satisfied with Tian Yunshan’s pragmatism. ”I hear your son died at Su Han’s hand? Don’t worry. This time, our Heavenly Demon Cult will kill Su Han and avenge you!”

Tian Yunshan was overjoyed. He had been looking for an opportunity to deal with Su Han but couldn’t act openly because of Lei Ming’s presence. He had never expected the Heavenly Demon Cult to offer their help. This was perfect.

Su Han, this time, you have nowhere to run!
