True powerhouses were those who emerged from mountains of corpses and seas of blood.

The Nine Primordial Elves under Yu Zi Yu’s command were undoubtedly blessed with astounding talents, standing on par with, if not surpassing, the greatest prodigies of even the mighty Dragon Clan.

However, no amount of talent could substitute the necessary trials one must endure.

In fact, they needed tempering more than anyone else, for their cultivation had come too easily, too swiftly—denying them the proper depth of foundation.

Take, for instance, the Void Elf, the youngest of the Nine Primordial Elves, born from the Void Realm, had reached Late Stage Tier-5 in a mere 20 years.

What was even more astonishing was that he had never even stepped beyond the Nine Realms.

So to say, he had ascended to Late Stage Tier-5 purely through seclusion and cultivation, without any real trials or battles.

Such a cultivation speed was utterly terrifying.

However, precisely because of this, Yu Zi Yu had noticed the Nine Primordial Elves’ immaturity.

Despite possessing the strength to shake the stars, they remained as naive as children.

Some of them, in fact, were utterly ignorant of even basic common sense.

Thus, it was only natural for Yu Zi Yu to use the remnants of the Elemental Clan’s embers as their trial by fire.

“The matters of the younger generation… should be handled by the younger generation…” muttered Yu Zi Yu in a calm and stoic voice as he turned his gaze to the Fire Giant Elemental standing before him, then as the light in the giant’s eyes dimmed, he declared, “I will not interfere in the affairs of Juniors, that I can promise.”

“T-thank… you…” The Fire Giant Elemental spoke in a broken voice, but his heart was content.

With this single assurance from the Supreme Lord of the Demon Court, he could finally rest easy.

If, even with this opportunity, the Elemental Clan’s survivors still failed to find a way to eke out an existence in the Starry Sky, then they had only themselves to blame.

“Hahaha… Even in death, I, Ander, shall go out in a blaze of glory!” With a sudden booming laugh, the tens-of-thousands-meter-tall Fire Giant Elemental took a mighty step forward, his body surging with one final burst of radiance.

*Squilish…* Though his chest remained pierced by the wooden pillar, he pressed on regardless.

One step…

Then another…

Each step brought him closer to that figure shrouded in mystery in the depths of the cosmos.

What kind of existence was that? A being of peerless grace, one who reigned supreme over all creation.

Even with his dying gaze, Ander, the Fire Giant Elemental and current Patriarch of the Fire Elemental Lineage, felt awe-struck.

“To perish at the hands of such a being… Perhaps that is not such a terrible fate after all…” With a final sigh of lament, his consciousness began to fade.

And in that instant, a cold, mechanical voice rang in Yu Zi Yu’s ears,

…

One notification after another resounded—each heralding the death of a Fire Elemental.

Ander alone could never have lasted this long.

What had truly sustained him was the sacrifice of countless Fire Elementals.

They had abandoned everything, pouring their entire strength into their Patriarch.

Yet, even after paying such a dreadful price, they had failed to attain the power to stand against Yu Zi Yu.

Even with his power surging over tenfold, Ander remained utterly powerless before him.

He could not even launch a counterattack.

Perhaps, standing tall, enduring the agony of being impaled, and taking each unyielding step toward Yu Zi Yu, was the greatest act of defiance he could muster.

Even in death, he would die standing.

“What a Waste…” Gazing at the colossal figure whose flames were gradually dimming, Yu Zi Yu could not help but shake his head.

With his keen eyes, he could tell, this acting Clan leader was a true genius.

However, if someone had committed a wrongdoing, it must be accounted for.

And worse yet, they had even utilized their Clan’s legacy, a weapon tied to the rise and fall of their entire race, an Imperial Artifact, to strike at him.

Thus, Yu Zi Yu’s wrath could only be quelled by annihilating their entire lineage.

There was no right or wrong here, or rather, in the vast and boundless cosmos, right and wrong no longer existed.

There was only strength, or the lack thereof.

Today, Yu Zi Yu was powerful, reigning over the cosmos, so he had the right to pass judgment. Had he been weak instead…

*Haaa…* A faint sigh escaped Yu Zi Yu, as he found himself cherishing his current power even more.

…

At that moment, as if noticing something, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze sharpened.

In his line of sight, deep in the vast expanse of space, amidst the fading flames of the fallen Fire Giant Elemental, a millstone-sized crimson ember hovered.

“A Tier-6 Treasure… Fire Essence Crystal.” This was a rare supreme treasure formed upon the death of a Tier-6 Fire Elemental.

It contained not only his deep insights into Fire Element but also the majority of his remaining Spiritual Energy.

For any being cultivating Fire Element, obtaining this Fire Essence Crystal would all but guarantee an effortless breakthrough to Tier-6.

It was, in essence, a legacy in itself.

With a casual sweep of his right hand, an overwhelming force pulled the Fire Essence Crystal into his grasp.

Such a treasure could very well create another powerhouse.

And the Demon Court was not without Elemental lifeforms. Beings like Qing Gang, Aisha, and Litle White  were all Elementals.

Bringing these Elemental Treasures back would surely delight them immensely.

With that thought, Yu Zi Yu did not hesitate any longer.

At once, his Spiritual Energy surged, and his gaze shifted to a distant planet.

That was the Elemental Clan’s homeworld—a planet still inhabited by tens of millions of Elementals, harboring countless hidden legacies.

Now that their acting leader had perished and their Imperial Artifact, Grimoire, had vanished without a trace, the fate of the Elemental Clan’s ancestral planet was his to decide.

A subtle smile bloomed on Yu Zi Yu’s lips, and then, ripples spread through space.

In the very next instant, under the horrified gazes of countless Elementals, nine colossal vortexes, vast enough to blanket Heaven, emerged at the edge of space.

At the same time, a terrifyingly immense suction force erupted, and began to drag the entire planet toward its doom.

Bit by bit…

Little by little…

Until it was completely swallowed.

“A monster… He’s a real monster…”

“Is this the power of the Demon Court’s Supreme Lord? With a single slap, he killed a Tier-6 Overlord—and now, he has captured an entire planet!?”

“To him, even celestial bodies are nothing more than playthings… This is beyond terrifying!”

A chorus of awe and disbelief rippled across the cosmos.

At that moment, even the members of other Forces, like the Angels and Titans, could not suppress the reverence and fervor in their eyes as they looked at Yu Zi Yu.
