“Cultivate Divine Ability!? Condense Elemental Fruits?” Yu Zi Yu mumbled in a voice full of astonishment and doubt, momentarily stunned.

He had no idea what Elemental Fruits were. However, the term ‘Divine Ability’ was not one that could be easily mentioned.

Especially in this Era of Transcendence, words like Divine Abilities elicit an indescribable sense of mystery and divinity.

“If I can develop Divine Abilities that possess even a fraction of the power in my memories, it would be enough to dominate the world.” Murmuring to himself, a hint of fervor flashed deep within Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

[In some ancient texts, there has been mention of these thirty-six Divine Abilities that pointed directly to the origin of all things, commanding everything, and encompassing all aspects of existence.]

[If an ordinary person manages to obtain any one of them and master it to perfection, he or she could reach the realm of divinity, enough to be called Gods and Immortals. With what Qing Er had mentioned, about the Spiritual Energy Tide. She said that the previous era was the Era of Cultivation Decline. In that case, ancient times must have witnessed a splendid era of Gods and Immortals. If that’s true, then the ancient chronicles about these Divine Abilities might hold some truth.]

[In fact, now that I think about it , this makes sense. For instance, among the thirty-six Divine Abilities, the ‘Flower Bloom in an Instant’ is known to cause the flowers to bloom and wither instantly, and could even accelerate the growth of crops and plants, causing them to bear fruit. Isn’t that Divine Ability similar to my current Innate Talent—Super Regeneration? Though my present Super Regeneration can’t be labeled as a Divine Ability, if this was during the ancient times, it could only be considered a Minor Dao.]

*Ha…* Yu Zi Yu heaved a long, deep breath and suppressed his excitement, before slightly squinting his eyes.

[Regardless of whether these Divine Abilities are what I think they are, the most important thing right now is to attain a Divine Ability. Only by attaining a Divine Ability could I free myself from my petrified state. Moreover, only by attaining a Divine Ability could I advance a step further, and even hope to reach the peak of Tier-2, and even aspire to become a Tier-3 Transcendent.]

Thinking this, Yu Zi Yu’s consciousness sank into his core, beginning to explore the elusive and mysterious Divine Ability.

…

In the blink of an eye, three days had passed.

During these three days, Misty Mountains had become the center of attention for everyone.

The previous apparition of the colossal tree and the blooming canopy were difficult to conceal, even by the veil of mist.

People from several nearby cities witnessed it with their own eyes. As a result, rumors spread like wildfire.

Some said, ‘Ancient ruins had emerged, containing incredible legacies.’

Some said, ‘The Spirit Tree is achieving enlightenment; if one can find it, they can become a Superhuman overnight!’

…

Of course, there were various other rumors, but the most that were gaining momentum were the appearance of ancient ruins and the enlightenment of a Spirit Tree.

The theory of appearance of ancient relics was gaining momentum due to the recent popularity of the Spiritual Energy Tide Theory proposed by a certain professor. Many believed that in the past eras, there existed an era of Gods and Immortals.

Regarding this theory, even the higher-ups tacitly accepted it. Because this theory gave countless humans hope.

Gods and Immortals. It was something ethereal and unreachable, yet it touched the hearts of most. Whether it was eternal life or invincible Divine Abilities, they were enough to fill countless people with hope.

Compared to the pessimistic doomsday theories and great cataclysms, the theory of the Spiritual Energy Tide was even more inspiring. As a result, most people have begun to believe in the existence of ancient ruins in this world. This has elevated the status of archaeologists and even grave diggers.

More importantly, someone truly found something valuable in an ancient imperial tomb. It was rumored to be a stone sword that, with a single stroke, could cut through the toughest granite as easily as cutting through a tofu, revealing a smooth, mirror-like surface.

This discovery further bolstered the credibility of the theory of Spiritual Energy Tide.

As for the Spirit Tree’s enlightenment, more accurately, the advancement of a certain Mutant Plant, though the Mutant Plant had advanced, it was still a plant. And as a plant, it was presumed to be a treasure trove.

As such, some people directly refer to it as the Spirit Tree. The implications were simple and straightforward.

…

Meanwhile, on a hill not far from Misty Mountains,

“I’m wondering, it’s been three days, why hasn’t anyone come out yet?” Looking up at the nearby Misty Mountains, a middle-aged man couldn’t help but express his puzzlement.

Three days, it had been a full three days.

At the very least, 1,000-2,000 people were gathered at the edge of the Misty Mountains. And this was only because the government had laid out a strict order, prohibiting non-Superhumans from leaving the cities. Otherwise, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands, would have surged here.

Not surprising, because the apparition of the colossal tree and the blossoming vibrant canopy was too astonishing. It drew the attention of many Humans.

Humans were curious creatures.

But more importantly, Misty Mountains might hold tremendous opportunities. Who would want to miss out?

What was strange was that at least half of these 1,000-2,000 people had ventured into Misty Mountains, and yet only a few actually managed to come out.

Even those who did return had no idea when they had returned when questioned.

The common explanation was that they wandered in circles within Misty Mountains and ultimately ended up back where they started.

It was the mist. Even the mist that enveloped the mountain had its own peculiarities. There were long-standing rumors about it, and now, it has been proven true.

This led many to believe what these individuals were saying and cease their inquiries.

But this course of events has given rise to another thought-provoking matter.

[Where are the people who ventured deep into Misty Mountains? Could it be that not a single person managed to venture deep into Misty Mountains?]

At least 1,000 Superhumans had gone in. Although most of them were Low Level Tier-0 Superhumans, and a few were Intermediate Level, with barely any High Level Superhuman, how was it possible for none of them to manage to go deep into Misty Mountains?

At this moment, seemingly sensing the middle-aged man’s doubts, an explanatory voice suddenly sounded in his ear,

“Don’t forget, there’s a Prehistoric Crocodile within Misty Mountains. The government has repeatedly emphasized that if you enter Misty Mountains, enter at your own risk. The dangers are self-evident.”

“I guess, you’re right.”

Nodding in agreement, the middle-aged man accepted the explanation.

Putting aside the Transcendent Creature, the Prehistoric Crocodile, just the Mutant Beasts hidden within Misty Mountains posed a significant danger.

Moreover, there were rumors that Misty Mountains had also given birth to something called Mist Beasts.

If these rumors held any truth, then the dangers of Misty Mountains were far from ordinary. In fact, they might even rival those most dangerous, Red Zones.

Of course, if everyone present were to perish, then the Misty Mountains might very well earn be labeled as a Forbidden Zone.

Thinking this, the middle-aged man chuckled quietly.

[How could that be possible? Every Forbidden Zone is truly terrifying. While Misty Mountains might be fearsome, it definitely does not reach the level of being labeled as a Forbidden Zone. Otherwise, the outcome would have been more drastically different.]

Ashish: The thirty-six Divine Abilities are mentioned in novels, and can be anything, depending on the author.
