Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 1135: Chapter 1135 Duration

”Are you sure we’re really doing this, boss?” one man whispered, his voice barely louder than the faint crackle of his cigarette.

The small group stood far from the supermarket’s main entrance, tucked behind stacks of abandoned carts and half-broken crates.

It was a spot most people avoided—too dark, too quiet, too close to the shattered windows where zombies once clawed their way in.

From here, they watched the others inside the supermarket.

People were busy, all moving with purpose.

Some reinforced the doors with metal sheets Ross had provided.

Others sorted through supplies, cleaning up the place and trying to make it feel like a real shelter instead of a temporary hiding spot.

Their faces were tired but hopeful, trusting Ross to keep them safe.

The leader exhaled slowly, letting the smoke drift upward before answering.

”I’m sure,” he said, eyes narrowing as he observed Ross’s supporters inside. ”But we don’t rush anything. No mistakes.”

The others leaned closer.

”I talked to the survivors who were here before we arrived,” the leader continued quietly.

”They said Ross isn’t just strong. They said he’s practically invincible. Moves objects with his mind, walks around with some kind of invisible shield, saves people like it’s nothing. We’re not dealing with a normal mutant.”

A murmur rippled through the group. Even in the dimness, a few swallowed nervously.

”That’s why,” the boss said firmly, ”we take our time. We only act when we have a plan that guarantees success. A hundred percent. Not ninety-nine. Not ’good enough.’ We can’t afford failure—not with someone like him.”

One of the men nodded eagerly. ”Copy, boss. You always think ahead. That’s why we follow you.”

The others agreed with quiet grunts, drawing closer into a loose circle.

Their whispers grew even softer as they began discussing possibilities—routes, distractions, timing—each idea darker than the last.

Meanwhile, just a short distance away, the rest of the supermarket bustled with life and trust, completely unaware that in the shadows of their newfound sanctuary, betrayal was already taking root.

As for Ross, he had already caught wind of their so-called ”secret” plans long before they even thought they were being discreet.

He sensed their intentions the same way a predator senses the trembling of prey—instantly, effortlessly.

His reaction? Absolute indifference.

”What a bunch of fools,” Ross chuckled one night as he stood on the rooftop, overlooking the city swallowed by darkness and the supermarket glowing beneath him like a flicker of civilization.

The very idea of those weaklings trying to overthrow him was more comedic than threatening.

He let them cling to their delusions of rebellion, crawling around like dumb maggots who believed they were dangerous.

If they ever dared to move, Ross was ready.

And when their moment finally came, he would send them to hell with the same ease he used to crush a zombie’s skull—swift, final, and without a hint of mercy.

But Ross didn’t waste energy thinking about them. He had far more enjoyable pursuits to focus on.

What he wanted now was simple: a woman worth his attention.

Someone interesting, someone unique, someone who didn’t shrink away the moment they saw his power.

So he waited, watched, and observed the hundreds of new faces that came in each week.

None impressed him enough—not yet.

He wasn’t in a rush. Ross moved only when something truly caught his eye.

Another month passed.

The supermarket had transformed completely. What was once a chaotic shelter was now a thriving community of more than five hundred people.

Shelves that should have been empty remained mysteriously stocked.

The kitchens overflowed with food, the storage rooms were organized better than any pre-apocalypse warehouse, and everyone had warm beds, steady meals, and a sense of security unheard of in this new world.

People laughed more. Children ran around. Couples formed.

Hope—something nearly extinct—started growing again inside those walls.

And at the center of it all, Ross ruled effortlessly, admired by most, feared by all.

It was during this time of relative peace that he finally noticed her.

She intrigued him.

For the first time in weeks, Ross felt that familiar pull—a genuine interest.

And so, on a quiet morning when the sunlight streamed softly through the wide front windows, Ross finally decided it was time.

He approached the woman he found the most interesting in the entire supermarket.

”How’s everything here? Did you all settle in just fine?” Ross asked as he approached the group of a dozen newly arrived women.

His voice was calm, steady, and confident—the kind of tone that instantly made people feel safe just by hearing it.

Among the group stood the woman who had captured his attention. She didn’t try to stand out.

She didn’t fawn over him like the others.

She simply listened with quiet eyes that seemed to understand more than she revealed.

”We’re fine, Ross. Thank you so much for letting us in. This place is a haven!” one of the women said, her gratitude so genuine it nearly trembled out of her.

Ross gave a small nod, the corner of his lips lifting. ”Good. That’s exactly what I want for everyone here. If any of you need anything—food, blankets, a change of clothes—just let me know. My door is always open.”

His presence had a gravity to it, a calm authority that made people automatically straighten up.

After exchanging a few more reassuring words, he offered them a warm smile and turned to leave.

The moment his back was turned—and once he was far enough not to hear—the women erupted into barely contained squeals and giggles.

”Oh my god, did you see that smile? I swear, my knees almost gave out!”

”He’s so handsome it’s unreal...”

”He doesn’t look like someone from this world anymore. More like... I don’t know... a king or something.”

”I wonder if he already has someone,” one whispered dreamily, twirling her hair. ”A girlfriend... or maybe a wife...”

”I wouldn’t even care if he did,” another said boldly, fanning herself. ”If Ross even glanced at me with interest, I’d be ready to do anything he wanted. I’d willingly spread my legs for him and let him fuck me!”
