Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 1069: Chapter 1069 Outdoor

For a long moment, Ross and Miku remained frozen, panting in the quiet, the only sounds their ragged breaths and the frantic beating of their hearts.

Slowly, the real world began to intrude.

The distant chirp of a bird. The faint sound of a car engine starting down the street.

The illusion of their private universe shattered.

With a profound weariness, Miku untangled herself from his embrace.

The air felt cold on her sweat-sheened skin. She swung her legs over the side of the bed, her body protesting every movement.

Her legs, shaky and weak, barely supported her as she stood.

A profound soreness echoed deep within her, a lewd gift to the night’s activities.

She took a step, then another, her gait an unsteady limp towards the door.

And with each step, a traitorous trickle of their combined essences escaped down the inside of her thigh, falling with soft, wet sounds onto the wooden floor—each drop a stark, audible punctuation mark in the morning’s silence, a lewd secret laid bare in the growing light.

She didn’t look back, not trusting herself to leave if she saw him watching her.

She simply slipped out, closing the door softly on the wreckage of their passion, and began the long, guilty walk back to her own life.

”This should be enough for now,” Ross muttered, his eyes lingering on the alluring figure of Miku as she tried to make her way back to her husband’s room.

He had just sensed her presence with his divine sense and, on impulse, decided to intervene.

He knew that if left unchecked, she would be subjected to unspeakable horrors—molested and forced to endure a life worse than death at the hands of those men.

For now, keeping this small haven of three people a secret would have to suffice.

Back in Aegis, Ross was thriving.

Within the sprawling underground fortress that served as his domain, life had begun to take on a strange sense of order amidst the chaos of the outside world.

The bunker, once a cold and sterile refuge, now pulsed with quiet activity.

People worked, trained, cooked, and even found time to laugh. Ross had brought them peace, stability, and most of all, safety.

In a world where death walked freely above, his rule brought a kind of comfort that many believed they would never feel again.

Another month had passed, and the rhythm of survival became almost routine.

The apocalypse had dragged on for three dull, terrifying months, and the world beyond Aegis remained infested by the dead.

There were too many to fight—an endless tide of rotting bodies and hollow eyes that filled the cities, the forests, and even the mountains.

But these were not merely the newly dead. No, they were far older.

Some whispered that the corpses of ancient warriors and forgotten kings now walked again, their bones rising from the dust of forgotten eras. It was as if death itself had decided to reclaim the world from the living.

Inside the bunker, everyone did their best to adapt. Some found comfort in work, others in companionship.

Yet, beneath the surface of their newfound order, small cracks began to show—secrets, desires, and suspicions quietly taking root.

Daniel was among those who felt something was off.

His mother, who had been despondent after losing her husband to the outbreak, was suddenly... different.

Her sadness seemed to fade with each passing day. Her eyes held a faint sparkle again, her cheeks had color, and there was a softness in her smile that Daniel hadn’t seen in years.

She was no longer broken, no longer consumed by grief. In fact, she looked—dare he even think it—happy.

At first, Daniel wanted to believe it was healing, that maybe she had finally found peace.

But something about her glow didn’t feel right. It was too sudden, too unnatural.

There were nights when he would wake up and notice her missing from her quarters, only to find her returning quietly hours later, her hair slightly disheveled and her lips trembling as though she’d been holding back emotion—or pleasure.

”It can’t be,” Daniel whispered to himself one evening, his heart pounding in his chest. He had to know the truth.

So he followed her.

The corridors of Aegis were dim and silent at night, lit only by the soft blue glow of emergency lights that lined the metal walls.

Daniel kept his distance, careful not to make a sound as his mother moved swiftly through the hallways.

She eventually stopped before one of the sealed chambers—the ones only a select few had access to.

Daniel hid behind a corner, barely daring to breathe as she placed her hand against the scanner.

The door slid open with a hiss, and she stepped inside.

He hesitated for a long moment before creeping closer, peering through the narrow gap of the slowly closing door.

What he saw inside made his blood run cold.

He had been watching his mother, Ashley, night after night, her movements deliberate yet mysterious.

She would disappear into the same room for hours, emerging later with an expression he couldn’t understand—part exhaustion, part... something else.

A subtle softness lingered in her eyes, a quiet warmth to her smile that sent a strange shiver down Daniel’s spine.

He had never seen his mother like this. He was still a virgin, and naïve in the ways of adult desire.

He did not recognize the look on her face for what it truly was: the kind of satisfaction that only came from deep, intimate pleasure.

At first, he tried to dismiss it.

Maybe she was just dreaming, maybe she was finding some small personal comfort in the midst of the chaos around them.

But each night, as he watched from the shadows, the glow in her face grew more pronounced, more deliberate.

Curiosity gnawed at him, twisting into obsession.

His mind raced with questions he didn’t want to ask aloud, questions that made him feel both guilty and unable to stop himself.
