Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 1012: Chapter 1012 Bread

”What do you want?” Karen asked, her voice trembling with both anger and fear.

”Oh, you know what I want, Karen,” Ross replied smoothly, his tone maddeningly calm, confident, and cruelly patient.

”You’ve always known. You even craved it. But tonight, I’d like to make it official.”

His voice dropped lower, almost intimate. ”You’ll be mine. And in exchange... I’ll help you.”

Karen froze. The words sent a chill through her body.

She could hear faint growls echoing outside the hotel corridor, the pounding of heavy footsteps, the world collapsing around her — and yet, Ross’s voice cut through it all like a whisper from the devil himself.

”You’re insane,” she muttered, but her voice cracked halfway through.

”Maybe,” Ross said, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. ”But I’m also the only man in this city who can save you. And you know it.”

He let the silence stretch, savoring the moment.

Karen could almost imagine his smirk — that quiet, knowing smile that had once made her blush and now made her stomach twist in dread.

”Make your decision fast, Karen,” Ross continued, his tone suddenly sharper.

”Because I’m not sure how long I can hold them off. You might not survive if you take too long to think.”

Her breath hitched.

Hold them off? Did that mean he knew where she was? Was he watching her even now?

”Ross...” she whispered, panic rising in her throat. ”What do you mean?”

”You’ll understand soon,” Ross said, almost gently. ”Now — your answer?”

Karen closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face. Every instinct screamed not to trust him.

Ross was dangerous — powerful in ways she couldn’t yet understand.

But outside the barricaded door, the dead roamed. She could hear them — dragging their feet, growling, slamming against other rooms.

And her family... her family might still be out there.

Finally, she spoke, her voice small and broken. ”Okay,” she said. ”But I have conditions.”

”Oh?” Ross said, amused. ”Let’s hear them.”

”I want my parents safe,” Karen said, her voice trembling. ”My sisters too. You’ll protect them, Ross. All of them. That’s my only condition.”

A long pause followed, and then Ross laughed softly. ”Fine, Karen. Still selfless to the end.” He exhaled, and his voice turned to silk.

”Very well. You have my word.”

Before Karen could reply, the line went dead.

She lowered her phone slowly, heart pounding in her ears. Eliza stood beside her, pale and trembling. ”What did he say?”

Karen didn’t answer. She couldn’t. She didn’t even know what she’d just agreed to.

Then, five minutes later — the world shook.

A deep rumbling noise echoed from outside, followed by the whir of rotor blades.

Eliza rushed to the window and pulled the curtain aside just enough to peek. Her jaw dropped. ”Karen... there are helicopters out there!”

The sound grew louder, closer.

From the streets below, bright lights cut through the darkness, sweeping across the hotel’s shattered windows.

Engines roared. Tires screeched.

Then came the pounding on their door — three sharp knocks, followed by a cold, authoritative voice.

”Miss Karen! We’re here under direct orders from Mr. Ross! Stand clear from the door!”

Before either woman could react, the barricade shook, and with a thunderous crash, the door was blown open.

Smoke and dust filled the air as a team of heavily armed men in black combat suits poured into the room.

Their movements were fast, disciplined — almost inhumanly so.

”Clear! Room secure!” one barked, sweeping his rifle across the corners.

Karen shielded her face from the flying debris, coughing as she looked up at the soldiers.

Each one wore night-vision goggles, bulletproof vests, and automatic rifles that gleamed under the emergency lights.

One of them stepped forward, his expression unreadable beneath the visor.

”Miss Karen?” he asked, his voice filtered through the helmet’s comm. ”We’ve been sent to extract you and your companion. You’re safe now.”

Eliza let out a shaky breath and broke down crying. ”Oh thank God... thank you! Thank you so much!”

Two soldiers gently lifted her to her feet, while another offered Karen a hand.

She took it numbly, still too stunned to speak.

The soldiers led them out of the room, their boots echoing down the dimly lit corridor.

Bodies littered the floor — both zombies and humans.

The air was heavy with smoke, blood, and gunpowder.

As they reached the stairwell, Karen glanced over her shoulder at the shattered hotel room — her last piece of normal life, gone.

She didn’t know what waited for her outside.

But one thing was certain.

Ross had kept his promise.

And now, she belonged to him.

They traveled by helicopter, the wind whipping through the open chopper as the city disappeared beneath them.

Below, the landscape gradually changed—buildings gave way to barren fields, and the familiar signs of civilization vanished.

The world became silent, empty, and strangely still, as if this place had been erased from maps long ago.

After a tense flight, the helicopter descended onto a secluded clearing.

The terrain was rugged, almost desolate, and at first glance, it seemed abandoned.

But Karen knew better. This was the location Ross had chosen for his secret bunker—their sanctuary, their prison, and the center of his control.

The doors of the helicopter opened, and the cold wind rushed in, carrying with it a faint metallic scent.

Karen stepped out carefully, her eyes scanning the area, nerves taut.

The bunker loomed ahead—part underground, part fortified structure built into the landscape, almost blending into the barren earth around it.

An hour later, Karen’s heart leapt when she saw her family arrive at the bunker as well.

”Mom! Dad! Chelsea! Lea!”

Karen’s voice cracked as she stumbled forward, tears welling in her eyes.

She saw her family—alive, safe, and waiting for her inside the underground bunker.

In that instant, the fear and exhaustion that had been gnawing at her finally broke, and she ran straight into their arms.

They embraced tightly, crying, trembling, unable to speak for several long seconds.
