Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 419 Voyage

Faith Richards returned home, disappointment heavy in her heart.

She desperately needed funding for the children her charity supported, but it seemed Ross’s deal came with strings attached.

”Miss Faith!” The children surrounded her as soon as she arrived.

Some were no longer children, with a few as old as eighteen now attending college, also supported by the charity.

Altogether, over a hundred kids lived in the charity’s building.

She wished she could take in more, but her resources were already stretched to the limit.

Even so, Faith found it nearly impossible to turn anyone away, further straining an already tight budget.

Running a children’s charity wasn’t easy.

She could have made her life simpler by accepting offers like Ross’s—ones that demanded more than just her time—but her principles mattered more to her than anything else.

”So, how was everyone’s day?” she asked, forcing a smile.

”Miss Faith, we cleaned up earlier and finished the laundry too!” one of the children replied eagerly.

Faith spent the rest of the evening chatting with the kids, their cheerful voices momentarily lifting the weight on her shoulders.

When night fell, a handsome man approached the charity building, sneaking quietly up to the second floor.

He slipped into the dimly lit room where Faith lay sleeping, her figure illuminated by the soft glow of moonlight.

In her simple pajamas, her beauty was undeniable, making the man’s pulse quicken instantly.

Tiptoeing closer, he bent down and kissed her gently, his hands beginning to explore her body. Faith stirred awake at his touch.

”Tristan? You’re drunk!” she exclaimed, wrinkling her nose. She had always hated the smell of alcohol.

”It’s just a little, love,” Tristan murmured, brushing it off as he leaned in for another kiss. Faith sighed but responded, their lips lingering together.

However, when Tristan’s hand slid up to cup her chest, she gently pushed him away. ”Tristan, you know we can’t. Not yet.”

They had been together for years, but Faith was firm in her belief of saving herself for marriage.

Tristan respected her deeply, even though it wasn’t easy. He had already decided he would propose next year.

”I’m sorry,” he said, his voice filled with frustration and admiration. ”You’re just too damn beautiful, Faith. Seeing you like this and not being able to touch you is pure torture.”

”Really?” Faith teased, trying to lighten the mood. ”Maybe we should get separate rooms then?”

”Not a chance,” Tristan replied with a playful grin. ”Let me freshen up, and I promise my hands will behave tonight.”

Faith smiled as he left for the bathroom, grateful for his understanding and unwavering love despite their challenges.

As they lay side by side, Faith and Tristan talked about their day.

”So, how’s the site? Is the building construction going well?” Faith asked.

”It’s coming along,” Tristan replied, shaking his head.

”I still can’t believe Ross Oakley would find an actual doomsday bunker in this day and age. That guy’s obviously preparing for the apocalypse with a building that size. He’s... an odd one, to say the least.”

Faith chuckled.

”I saw on the news that another billionaire is building a secret bunker too. Do they know something we don’t?” Her smile widened as she spoke, her faith in the divine unwavering.

She believed that those with kind hearts would always be protected.

Tristan’s expression turned serious. ”I don’t know, Faith. With so many wars breaking out and the world going crazier by the day, maybe we should think about relocating somewhere safer.”

”And where exactly would that safer place be?” Faith asked, curious.

”To Mars,” Tristan deadpanned.

They burst into laughter, sharing an inside joke between them.

Moments like this reminded them of how perfectly they fit together, their love and shared sense of humor making even heavy topics feel a little lighter.

”How was your day? Did you get the donation you were hoping for?” Tristan asked as they lay in bed.

”I didn’t,” Faith replied with a sigh. ”But I met your boss today.”

”What?!” Tristan sat up abruptly, his heart racing.

”He didn’t try anything, did he?” He knew all too well about Ross Oakley’s infamous reputation as a womanizer.

Faith gave him a reassuring smile. ”He tried—and he failed.” She proceeded to recount the encounter.

”That fucking pig!” Tristan snapped, his jaw tightening.

”He already has a harem of beautiful women, and yet he still wants more. I swear, I’ll punch him in the face the next time he shows up at the construction site.”

”And then what?” Faith countered calmly. ”Lose the biggest project of your career? It’s not worth it, Tristan. No harm, no foul. He tried, just like so many men before him, and I rejected him. End of story.”

Tristan took a deep breath, still fuming but knowing she was right.

He was an engineer leading the construction of Ross Oakley’s secret bunker, a project estimated to cost billions.

Even he thought it was ridiculous for anyone to spend that much money on such a thing.

”Ross is a lewd guy. You better stay away from him from now on, Faith,” Tristan warned.

Faith smiled softly, resting her hand on his. ”Let’s not waste energy on people like him. What matters is that we’re here, together.”

Her words eased his tension, and the two settled back down, grateful for each other amidst the chaos of their lives.

They continued talking, their conversation winding down as sleep beckoned, when—

Ding!

Faith’s phone buzzed with a notification.

”Who’s messaging you in the middle of the night? A secret admirer I don’t know about?” Tristan joked, smirking as he lay back on the pillow.

His humor, as always, brought a lightness to even the quietest moments.

Faith chuckled softly but reached for her phone out of curiosity.

”Probably just one of the kids asking for something,” she said, unlocking it.

However, as soon as she opened the message, her expression froze. Her lips parted slightly, and she sat up straighter.

”What is it?” Tristan asked, noticing the shift in her demeanor. He leaned closer, his brow furrowing in concern.

Faith didn’t answer immediately, her eyes glued to the screen.

The glow of the phone illuminated her shocked face. Finally, she managed to whisper, ”You need to see this…”

Tristan propped himself up on his elbow and peered over her shoulder.

The moment he saw the message, his expression turned from curiosity to utter disbelief.
